Do you have any Fall or Halloween traditions? I love decorating the front door and walkway so its medium scary in a classic good way for all ages. I also LOVE dressing up...I also do some small ritual to honor my dearly departed. For Autumn in general Im ALL about Mabon, the harvest, putting up food in the freezer or making jams

as long as it's wheat free, I LOVE convenient things that make food cooking easier - Im not feeling good most days by dinnertime, and cooking dinner is a chore because of it.

I LOVE beeswax, soy or palm wax, and thats why I love Big Dipper waxworks, and even have a favorite listed on Amazon..however, I have lots of Yankee Candle favs too..some of the top scents are Christmas Wreath, Sweet Strawberry, the new Man candles, and most of the Autumn scents. Generally, spicy, orange, appley scents are good, as are essential oils, or pine/fir/cedar/juniper

 

What kind of cuisines do you like? (I mentioned this in my ?aire but curious what my witch may like)And, what are your favorite restaurants?

Oh seriously theres too many to name. I am a World-food lover...favs are Vietnamese, Japanese, Ethiopian, Mediterranean, Scottish, and Italian - and fresh seafood! Restaurants include local ones, not too many chains.

 

I'm from Canada - is there anything specifically a witchee might like that is only available here?

[Are home made foods acceptable or does the idea of eating strange mailed food disturb you?

I am open to homemade goodies when good hygiene is used (sorry, had to say that). I have a compromised immune system, so other people's germs do damage.

 

I just gave you $20 and sent you into a "has everything" store ala Walmart and told you that you have to come out having spent it all, and none of it on anything you need. What would you buy? Be as specific as possible!

Let's sayTarget, cause I boycott Sprawlmart Thats easy. I'd go to the clearance sections for bathroom, bedding, kitchen, and housewares. Never have enough $ to keep us in decent linens.

 

I live near a Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Penzeys! What does your little heart desire from any or all of these places?

OMG...Trader Joe's has amazing gluten free snacks...so YES PLEASE

I love seasonings...LOVE. Especially unique salts, or flavored sugars.

 

Do you like cute, seasonal or fluffy PJ bottoms? Like they sell at Target, Old Navy (they have had cute Halloween ones!) If so, what size do you wear?

well, if you can find a pair in 2XL, lol Halloween themed are especially loved!!

 

What kind of chocolate do you like? Nuts, no nuts, white,dark, etc?

YUM to Milk Chocolate - my Fav bars are by Divine, Dagoba, Chocolove, and Endangered Species...Hersheys/Mars is WAY down on the list, but will do in a pinch. Godiva, and Mrs. See's are awesome (See's favs include cashew brittle, butterscotch squares, apricot delights, and any of their truffles)

 

Do you like s'mores and s'mores-flavored things?

yes, if its gluten free...I found gluten free grahams, and used hershey bars and marshmallows one time.

 

What's the neatest freebie you've gotten? It can be cool or thoughtful or just totally unexpected, and not limited to BPALdom.

Besides all the lovely swappers I've met over the years on swap-bot and here on BPAL, and all the amazing extra goodies they've sent, one that will always stand out is when Ted sent me a Tee and with it came some frimps in a black velvet bag of scents that were only available at special events, and one wasn't even released. I always think about the NOLA way of doing business with a lagniappe and all my packages include one.
