March 17 Would you want an invite to a site that is invite-only ex. Diaspora, Demonoid, etc. If so, what? No thanks! March 16 For those who like lipgloss, lipstick, tinted balms, etc, what colors do you wear (and warm? cool?) and do you prefer something sheer or more opaque? How do you feel about shimmer? I wear lip gloss... I love natural-ish colors. Sheer darkish pinks or cherry reds. Shimmer is okay! Are there any fancy/gourmet/special herbs or spices that you'd love to receive? ie: good quality vanilla or other extracts, vanilla beans, saffron, lavender, etc. not sure I would appreciate their high quality I have just begin cooking and am really not that good at it yet.... maybe if they came with instructions?! What's your favorite animal? Or is there one that's particularly significant to you? I have been diggin' on birds lately. All birds. I just love watching them. I love sitting outside on weekend mornings with my coffee watching the little guys fight over the bird feeder If you were able to get a vintage or prototype bottle from the upcoming West Coast Will Call, which one would you want?no thanks! DVDs, Blu-Ray, both, neither? both! I do have a blu-ray player but wouldnt mind DVDs either. Sock Dreams? What kind? (anklets, footies, etc.?) I need socks! I keep buying them but I keep losing them! I love philosophy soaps. I also love handmade stuff on etsy (Naiad is proabbly one of my favorites). As for flavors... I LOVE roses. I also love lavender. OH and the milk and honey naiad soap is to die for . What periods of art do you love most? Like, if someone was going to get you a tapestry or a box or some other item, what period would you want it to most resonate with? the pinks and golds of Rococo? the clean geometry of Art Deco? The romanticism of Art Nouveux? The strange lines of Cubism? Pre-Raphaelite stuff makes me very happy. 2011 Spring Shotgun Round!

March 25 Are you interested in trying Super Villainess (from Villainess - the birthday scent that was just released tonight!) and if so, which item do you like the most? (Soap, Whipped, Smooch, Extrait, Smack...) Smacks and smooches both sound very interesting, indeed. And Whipped, I'm guessing, would be amazing. Barring that, oils are always good, particularly in decant form! If I were to order you a Smack, which four notes would you like? I . . . don't see a list. But! Fruity (apple/pear, citrus, peach/apricot) is good. Leather is good. Cinnamon is good. Would you enjoy receiving a knitted gift from your witch? If so what would you be interested in (scarf, hat, wrist / handwarmers, socks, etc.) and in what colors? Wrist/handwarmers or socks would be best! Any color for socks, things that show tend to be best in colors that go well with brown, black, blue or gray. That's what I wear most often. March 23 Easter Candy - do you like it? If so, what types? Reese's eggs, the mini Cadbury creme eggs that come in what looks like an egg container. What scent(s) are you petrified of getting DC'd? Tintagel! March 22 Violette Market Update is up. Do you covet anything from it? Ah, google, how I love thee! But . . . I don't know how to tell what's new. What is your favorite type of wine? Would you be interested in trying something new? In that case, is there anything you really DONT like? Ooooo how about dessert wines? I haven't had a rose or blush that I like yet (well, since I turned legal), but I love red wine. Especially cabs, shirazes, sirahs, malbecs, etc. I had a ruby port at a local winery that was to die for and I've been known to enjoy a piesporter or riesling with nibble-y bits or after dinner. March 21 What three things are you craving right now? My sister-in-law's bar cheese (I'll have some later at my niece's birthday party, I think), a medium hamburger with avacado, tomato, bacon and bleu cheese and time with my little brother (which I'll get next weekend at my oldest's birthday party). paper goods, anyone need? including resume paper, and formal stationery as well as casual cards. I have a love affair with stationary in general. I don't have all that much need for formal type stuff, though. What is a scent that you've been trying to find even a sample of for a very long time to no avail? (What bottle would you die to get your hands on - even a partial?) Nothing really. Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for?: (ie finances, eating healthier, meal planning) Meal planning would be good - I suck at that. But I don't really read self help books, alas! March 19 If your Witch lived near you, would you be happy or creeped out to get a "coupon" for a service like cleaning help or babysitting or dogwalking or coffee out with your Witch or something like that? Would you be creeped out if a local minion personally delivered a package to your house from a far-away Witch? Babysitting, coffee out, etc, those would be great! My house is a terrible mess, though, and I'm picky about cleaning and where things go, etc. Company while I did it (or help arranging CDs, DVDs and books when the actually cleaning is done, with wine and music) would be better. Let's say I have a pair of something you collect, would you like one of them and we have matching things? There's not much that I really collect, but I wouldn't be against having matching things. It's kind of a cool idea. =D March 18 Do you like poetry? I used to more than I do now, but some still catches me! I love Neruda, Cummings and Elliot in specific. What types of scents do you like to scent your home? Which do you totally avoid? Fresh, clean and light, if I use them. Fruity, sometimes. What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters? Mmm, old school Comico. Robotech, Mage, Elementals, Evangeline, etc! I don't know much from recent comics or other publishing houses. How do you feel about nail polish? What colors do you like? Sparkles? I love nail polish - funkier colors are better. I saw a really shiny, almost mirrored silver one on tumblr that was awesome, but I usually only buy OPI stuff. I'd love to try some of the BPTP claw varnishes. Household/kitchen goods/gadgets? Not at this time, really - after I move! Ok geek check - what sort of geeky things do you do? Do you read comics/graphic novels? Are you obsessed with something (a TV show maybe?) Do you work in a geeky field? Do you play rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons? Would you like gifts related to any of these? I've been playing World of Darkness, especially Mage, Werewolf and Changeling for over a decade now - mostly old school, but I love new Changeling, too. I'm starting to get more into graphic novels, and I love Glee (OPI/Sephora has Glee themed nail polishes!!!), was sad when The Cape and FlashForward were canceled, geek out over Chuck and Castle . . . gifts related to these would be great! Do you have a favorite fabric? If someone were to make you a fabric item, would you prefer it be out of any fabric? e.g. velvet, satin, silk, cotton, bamboo??? Would this change if it were an article of clothing vs. a bag/pillow/blanket/somethingelse Aesthetically speaking, I'm in love with cross dyed Duponi silk, and if you get the right quality/thickness of it, it's awesome to wear or lounge on, too (but again with expensive tastes). Other than that - flannel, cotton, that sort of thing. Anything with the Worm Moon update that you're already lusting after? I really kind of love the shirt, though I don't think the Lunacy itself would work on me. All the Holding Back the Night ones sound awesome! I'd love decants. More Last Unicorns, yum. What size/designs/colors would most interest you? oooooooo, any size. Usually earth tones, but bright colors here and there are great! I do a lot of SCA camping too, so pavillion-sized (for lounging about on) pillows are win, but probably difficult to ship. purses? bags? What style/colors? I love messenger bags. I also love Coach and Vera Bradley, but they're a bit expensive! =D Decorative scarves for hair and/or creative accessorizing? What colors? Anything like this I get tends to go in the dress-up box, which is actually pretty awesome given some of the activities my kids have - DI and Girl Scouts both sometimes call for costumes. My personal favorite colors are blues, greens and purples or earth tones, but anything's nice! Would you like anything from Starring Fragrances. They make awesome hair stuff, natural deoderant, and home fragrance (and a ton of other stuff, those are just my favs)? I googled this just to find out! Oils starring my favorite notes are always good. I'd love to try natural deoderant, but I need a strong anti-perspirant too - I sweat like crazy. It's seriously gross in the summer. Home fragrance, anything clean and light would do (and that applies to anything, not just this particular brand/company) - I like fresh mown grass and laundry on the line. That kind of stuff. As far as my hair goes, I'll try anything once; it's temperamental and picky, though, so sample sizes are best. However, I am of the opinion that covering something with gears and goggles doesn't make it steampunk. So . . . probably, yes! Especially if it's not the same steampunk stuff we see all the time. Do you like amurigami dolls? Some of them! I'd love a Harry Potter or Abney Park set. Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies - who wins? Which do you love most? Pirates, though I also like ninjas. I'm more or less indifferent to zombies. Do you like wearing things in your hair? If so, what kind (snap clips, scrunchie, headband, etc), how big & crazy (lowkey, bigger the better), and colors. I'm the ponytail queen. Scrunchies and elastics (the kind that aren't supposed to break/rip out your hair) are gold in my world, and always disappearing. Piercings? - ears?? - elsewhere? Two in each lobe, no nickel please! You know, if you feel like getting/making earrings). The holes are a bit close, so I tend to wear a dangly one in the lower and a stud in the upper. Chocolate. With stuff in it? Are you more a plain chocolate lover, a chocolate and normal items lover (normal items being nuts, fruit, caramel) or do you like weird stuff in your chocolate? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things) Chocolate, yes, preferably milk! I'd love to try chocolate with one of those thick, syrupy basalmics, and I know chilis are good in it (though that's more a dark chocolate thing, I think). I like nuts, mint and toffee, but not so much caramel or fruit. March 14 surprise! the world has given you the day off. You hear that, no chores, responsibilities, or budget you have to follow. What would you do in those 24 hours? Go to the chiropractor and get adjusted and a massage, see a movie and/or show and/or concert (depending on what's showing/playing), maybe go shopping. Do you have any blogs you regularly read? Hyperbole and a Half, Cataloge Living. Mostly, it's webcomics. Girl Genius, Arpeggio, Som*Pos, QC, Treading Ground, GWS, Shortpacked!, Galaxion. I have two, but both are way full - I'm not so picky about what it looks like, though having compartments that make imps stand up and keep bottles from knocking together would be awesome. I really, really want an aero garden; I have a black thumb despite my enjoyment of gardening, and it seems like that would be foolproof. Is there any "classic" literature (Hemingway, Dickens, Elliot, Bronte, Hugo, Wilde, etc.) that you would like to add to your collection? I lost all my Austen in one of many moves. Wilde would be awesome. Alcott - a matching set of the Little Women books would make my life. There are probably lots that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head, but I'm always open to books! candles and/or aroma melts: yay or nay? Candles are awesome, but I have no tart burner. So how does everyone feel about receiving ebooks? I'm . . . less averse to it than I used to be, particularly if they're guilty pleasure romance-type things. Especially if they come with recipes. If not Baked goods and you are changing eating habits..a book of recipes perhaps that will help the new eating lifestyle? Recipes are always awesome! Especially baking ones. If you were to make an order RIGHT NOW (Not that any of you will make any bpal orders until SW is over, because you do NOT want to mess up any plans your witch might have!) What would you order (from lab, forum, DD, TradingPost, etc) Assuming money's no object? Bottle of Tintagel. Lemon-Scented Sticky Bat. Sugar Moon. The Magician. Tarot shirts. A bunch of the claw polishes (but not embalming fluid or anything especially pink). Complete set of Last Unicorns (though that's because of concept - mostly, I want the bottles. I tend to like trying imps first). What level of nudity are you fine with on items? Ex: none, tasteful, erotica Mmm, tasteful erotica. I know the ?airre asked about gently used books and if you like garage sales, but would you like other kinds of gently used items that may have come from a garage sale? I'm totally down. Not so much clothes, but random other things, sure! Do you like cooking seasonings, like the kind you can get in ounce sizes? If so, things you'd love to try out? I do, but they're hard to find with no or at least low MSG, unless one is prone to making one's own seasoning mixes. In which case, yes! I like finding out about combinations I wouldn't necessarily have thought of on my own. Do you like any particular kinds of green or black teas or coffees that could also be gotten in bulk? I'm particularly fond of a lot of teavana things, and I buy coffee by the pound (unground), usually from Caribou. Feel free to introduce me to new things! Favorite snack foods (and can they be from bulk section as well?) Sesame sticks (the little ones that come in snack mixes?) and gummy worms. Chips and salsa. Summer sausage, cheese and crusty french bread. Peanuts or almonds. Those rye garlic chip things. Really, it depends on my mood and what I have at hand, though I have a few definite favorites that win over almost everything else. Bulk section is fantastic!

Well, I have a cat, I love bats, and both birds and horses are sacred to my patron Goddess, Rhiannon. In fact though I really like all animals a great deal (hence the vegetarianism). I have a couple of sets of cyberlocks and wool dread falls. One thing I can definitely use is some kerchiefs to keep the sun off during the long crappy summer here - pink, green, brown, purple, blue....the only colours I don't really wear are orange and neons. Piercings? - ears?? - elsewhere? Two in each lobe, a vertical cartilage piercing in the top of each ear, and a couple more where the sun doesn't shine Chocolate. With stuff in it? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things) I adore chocolate of all sorts *except* chili chocolate. Apart from that, I will blissfully nom down plain milk or dark chocolate or chocolate with whatever nifty gourmand flavour. I don't like Hershey's or Nestle chocolate. Lindt is one of my favourite brands, or Green & Black's.

The rest of the house is usually Snake OIl Bath Oil, vanillas, or random imps that I kind of like but would never wear diluted in the oil burner. Heavily diluted. Thank you for the card my dear Witch, my rather gloomy day has been brightened! Sorry for not getting you my questions sooner dear Witch. Here they are Here are the answers to questions asked in the Switch Witch Thread! Baked Goods? Re: baked goods. I Looove them but I'm vegan for lent so depending on when they come, they would have to be vegan and soy free (allergies crrry). I do love all things cooked and related to cooking though! Recipes? I adore recipes. I collect cook books and websites and blogs and love them all. I think it would be SO COOL to have like a handwritten recipe collection from someone, like their favorite recipes or family recipes or something. I’ve always wanted one from my family, but alas . Either way, anything cooking is definitely a home run for me. If you were to make an order RIGHT NOW. What would you order? Hm, well, I’ve found the Lupers this year are actually all huge fail on me  So from the lab… uh, well I need another bottle of Miskatonic University… I spilled mine  otherwise I kind of lust after Sachs, so I’d definitely consider that as well. From the Trading Post, I’m dying to try Celeste perfume and bath salts, Kitty Perfume (french vanilla is huge win on me!), and Virginia Bath salts. I’ve never tried anything from the trading post, so I’d love to experience something fun. What level of nudity are you fine with on items? Pretty flexible on this. I prefer “tasteful” to, you know, distasteful. Would you like other kinds of gently used items that may have come from a garage sale? I love yard/garage sales, so I’m perfectly fine with them. I am however super paranoid about bedbugs (specifically D:!) so just make sure it is on the level that-a-way Also, I must say I prefer USEFUL things. I am not a “knick-knacks” person. I would love a box, a pretty piece of clothing, a small piece of art, etc. Do you like cooking seasonings, like the kind you can get in ounce sizes? If so, things you'd love to try out? I LOVE cooking seasonings. I have most of the basics, but I’d love to try some exotic or unusual spices or spice blends. I lust heartily after a lot of the fun things on the Arthur flour website http://www.kingarthu...et-ingredients/ as well as various sites that offer special rubs, seasoning blends, etc. Do you like any particular kinds of green or black teas or coffees that could also be gotten in bulk? I cannot drink caffeinated beverage (ACK I SHOULD HAVE PUT THIS IN THE QUESTIONNAIRE. So sorry Witch!!!) so I drink lots of herbal teas. No green tea, black tea or coffee for me. Favorite snack foods (and can they be from bulk section as well?) Snacks? Hmmm. I love white cheddar popcorn. I have no idea about bulk ‘n’ stuff though. I love to snack on almost anything  Also, gummy things, like fruit slices, all things chocolate, chocolate covered macadamia nuts are a favorite of mine. I LOVE Jelly beans – jellybelly and starburst jelly beans are my favs, Ritersport is muh favorite chocolate, then Ferrero Rochet. For my Witchee! On that note, I am currently making vegan cooking, and if anyone wants it, I’d be happy to trade/oblige for free. I bake and might even do some vegan candy if I can muster it up. I'd like animals (crows, rats, cats, mice, bunnies or chinchillas) or something related to Doctor Who (cause come on, a Dalek...would that not rock?) Do you like wearing things in your hair? Generally speaking I don't, though my hair is long enough that I could. Flower and feather clips would be awesome for belly dancing though! Chocolate. With stuff in it? I like chocolate with chilis, I haven't tried it with like bacon (which I'd like to) and I haven't tried it with the other stuff mentioned, but I'd love to! I like a creamy lipstick in warm colours (I'm a pasty redhead with a neutral skin tone), lipgloss I like some opacity and just a bit of shine, and tinted balms are awesome. Easter Candy - do you like it? If so, what types? I probably don't need huge amounts of candy. I do like the Cadbury mini-eggs (the all-chocolate ones, not the ones filled with stuff.) What scent(s) are you petrified of getting DC'd? All dcs make me sad, that I'll never be able to pick up another imp sometime. Silk Road was in the keep-an-imp, don't need a bottle category, but it sucks to know that it's the latest to have fallen victim to DC issues. Most of my top ten that are GC, I've picked up backups of. Violette Market Update is up. Do you covet anything from it? Nope! (I'm also not gonna look.) Wine? I like wine! Reds are preferred. And while I theoretically like dessert wines, the massive backlog of them in my closet tells me that I never actually drink them. Wine is a with-dinner thing in my household. Paper goods, anyone need? including resume paper, and formal stationery as well as casual cards. I'm all set at the moment, though I do love notecards, so... I wouldn't turn them away. What is a scent that you've been trying to find even a sample of for a very long time to no avail? (What bottle would you die to get your hands on - even a partial?) Hm. That's a good question. I haven't been *actively* trying to find them, but of LEs/unimpables, the things I'm most intrigued about trying lately (so even half-decants would work) are Banshee Beat, Les Anges Dechus, and possibly Sybil. Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for?: (ie finances, eating healthier, meal planning) I'd mostly like to actually follow the advice I already know to be helpful. If your Witch lived near you, would you be happy or creeped out to get a "coupon" for a service like cleaning help or babysitting or dogwalking or coffee out with your Witch or something like that? Would you be creeped out if a local minion personally delivered a package to your house from a far-away Witch? No, I think it would be AWESOME! I do like sending notecards, though - I usually include a note in my swaps thanking the person. What is a scent that you've been trying to find even a sample of for a very long time to no avail? (What bottle would you die to get your hands on - even a partial?) Hmmm.... I don't want to even try some of the so rares, I would fall in love, be scared to wear it because it would run out, and then it would be gone and I would be sad. That said. STORYVILLE. I have sniffed, and it is ah-maze-ing. Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for?: (ie finances, eating healthier, meal planning) Vegetarian/vegan cooking, paganism/wicca, and knitting! I thought i posted this yesterday surprise! the world has given you the day off. You hear that, no chores, responsibilities, or budget you have to follow. What would you do in those 24 hours? Given real-world contraints (no time travel) and the 24-hour time limit. I would drive from Sacramento down to Sausalito. I would spend the morning wandering around... have lunch by the water. Then I would hop on a ferry and spend the afternoon wandeing around San Francisco. And eat some sushi for dinner! Do you have any blogs you regularly read? not really.... I love smittenkitchen.com though! Do you need another bpal box? If so what would your fantasy one look like? I dont have ANY box. I have a hodge box of small boxes that dont really fit the bottles/imps quite right. I really need something for my imps. I dont have THAT many 5mls, but god how did I collect so many imps??? I would love a box that looks antiquey. Shabby chic? Or honestly, I would love anything that my witchy came up with! Who am I to stifle creativity? Do you enjoy gardening? If so, what kind of stuff do you grow? Vegetables, flowers?I just moved into a new house and haven't really figured out the soil and whatever else yet. But i do enjoy growing flowers. I haven't ever grown vegetables/fruit. Actually--my boyfriend planted two small dwarf citrus trees so I guess I can't say that anymore! But anyway, I like flowers--Dahlias are my favorite, but don't grow that happily in Sacramento. Bulbs would be a fun present though! tis the season!

Do you need another bpal box? If so what would your fantasy one look like? I'm actually pretty well set for boxes for both bottles and imps. Do you have any blogs you regularly read? I like all of the Gawker sites...Food Gawker, Craft Gawker and Wedding Gawker. And Tastespotting. Plus a few that I check off and on. And lastly... surprise! the world has given you the day off. You hear that, no chores, responsibilities, or budget you have to follow. What would you do in those 24 hours? Well if I can be transported to anywhere and not have to include travel time in my day, I'd totally want to be in England or Ireland. Baked Goods? Yea? Nay? Yea!!! Not a huge fan of coconut though. If not Baked goods and you are changing eating habits..a book of recipes perhaps that will help the new eating lifestyle? I am not big into dieting... I got that book about sneaking vegetables and stuff into your normal food, and it's collecting dust on a shelf... hehe If you were to make an order RIGHT NOW (Not that any of you will make any bpal orders until SW is over, because you do NOT want to mess up any plans your witch might have!) What would you order (from lab, forum, DD, TradingPost, etc) Gods of Intercourse and Tea sound delicious What level of nudity are you fine with on items? I really wouldn't want a big wiener as a main focal point of anything. I don't mind female nudity... but wieners are just ugly. Also I would prefer something a bit classier and not porn-y. I know the ?aire asked about gently used books and if you like garage sales, but would you like other kinds of gently used items that may have come from a garage sale? I don't mind gently used items! I have scentsy burners and I love regular candles too. I dont have any oil warming devices. And I think the scentsy burners can warm any soy wax tart. I prefer more of the "manly" smells (leather, wood, mmmm) or "clean" smells than floral ones for household scents. I think this is mostly because a lot of the floral scents bother my allergies. Which is the complete opposite of the way I select perfumes, in which I would pick the floral/green scents first. Confusing much?

March 25 Are you interested in trying Super Villainess (from Villainess - the birthday scent that was just released tonight!) and if so, which item do you like the most? (Soap, Whipped, Smooch, Extrait, Smack...) I don't like Villainess soaps or perfumes. I have one of their smooches which is nice, and I've never tried smack. If I were to order you a Smack, which four notes would you like? Vanilla, incense, marshmallow and berry. Would you enjoy receiving a knitted gift from your witch? Because I keep thinking I want to make a messenger bag with all breeds of cool decor. Baked Goods? Yea Nay? But in the end, I am a stressed out college student, so would very very much appreciate small amounts of any kinda home cooked goodies. Yummm! I am not above indulging and LOVE homemade baked goods. What level of nudity are you fine with on items?: The human form is a beautiful thing. I am a fan of any level of depiction, as long as its not grotesque. Horror images freak me the eff out. Ooo I could always use another purse. I get in the bad habit of buying one a year and using it until its dead, then being in purse purgatory for a bit. Anything thats big enough to hold stuff. Would you rather have HUGE list of things your witchee wants to try or just a highlight list? Huge list. I like variety. Baked Goods? Yea Nay? Sure I just worry that Customs will snatch it away or it will be all stale by the time it reaches me. If not Baked goods and you are changing eating habits..a book of recipes perhaps that will help the new eating lifestyle? Recipes would be welcome, I'm trying to eat healthier, on a budget, with limited prep time available for meals. OH and my son is a picky eater...see what I'm up against? If you were to make an order RIGHT NOW (Not that any of you will make any bpal orders until SW is over, because you do NOT want to mess up any plans your witch might have!) What would you order (from lab, forum, DD, TradingPost, etc) Honestly - there's a lot. I've been on a nobuy for a while and I really wouldn't know where to start. Seriously. It's cool as long as its for a purpose. Unnecessary nudity usually bothers me. gently used items from a garage sale/thrift store? sure why not? Do you like cooking seasonings, like the kind you can get in ounces sizes? If so, things you'd love to try out? Yes, actually I need the basic seasonings because my boyfriend and I are moving into our first apartment this summer! Do you like any particular kinds of green or black teas or coffees that could also be gotten in bulk? Sure, anything would be good. I am particularly fond of earl grey, and flavored coffees are the BOMB. Favorite snack foods (and can they be from bulk section as well?) Maybe? I'll be able to have nuts pretty soon. I really love sugar free jerky for snacks. Baked Goods? Yea Nay? I'd love to say yes, but I am currently dieting, low carb. Unless you have super kick ass Atkins baking skills! If not Baked goods and you are changing eating habits..a book of recipes perhaps that will help the new eating lifestyle? Sure! I'd love some low carb cook books!
