Bath oil or moisturizing products.  I have super dry skin.    Also what kind of treats, snacks, foods, condiments, bulk items, teas, housewares from the same natural food stores would you love? Assam tea is a fave.   Dark chocolate is a lovely treat.   Also, are there any particular sustainable kitchen or household items you would love to receive?  Something to use for lunch packing- trying to break my zip bag and other trash addiction.        Did anything catch your eye from the Liliths?   Would you like anything from Lush? I have not been in Lush in ages, so I'm not current with them, but anything lavendar based like Sleepy or vanilla based would be lovely   So, there's a Euro coin of some denomination coming out with Asterix on it for the 60th anniversary and, while I'm not a coin collector, I've loved Asterix since before I could read and therefore really want one or two of the coin just to have.  Is there anything kind of weird and niche about which you feel this way, fellow witchees? I love otters and have thought of finding the Scottish bank note with the otter.  No idea what the value is, I would hang it on the wall of my studio.     Do you have an Etsy/Goodreads/Amazon or anything else wishlist you’d like to share? My etsy list was in my questionaire   And what’s your preferred wrist/necklace size? Necklace 20"  or longer chain or cord.  I rarely wear bracelets ( I catch it on everything)   Does anything from Bird & Blend take your fancy? I've never seen this company.  Rhubarb & custard or gingerbread chai.  The idea of infusing spirits with tea is really cool.   Knitting questions have have been asked, but how about wash cloths, anyone need any?  What colors??     Not much- I just made a few myself    is there anything from World Market that tickles your fancy? They have the best chocolate coffee, but I think it's a Valentine's item.  Other than that, some fun Halloween decorations.  Something owl or raven related.        There's a special thing happening over at Rituel de Fille this weekend, where some gorgeous makeup items are coming back for just a couple of days. (https://ritueldefille.com) I wish I were better at makeup, but I'm just not.   How do you feel about tarot or oracle decks?  Would you be interested in any (for artwork or for mystical purposes)?  New or used?  I like decks.  I recently saw one that was glorious art nouveau. New or used is ok.  Cats or Fae would also be good motifs for me.      Would pigment samples from companies like M.A.C. or Notoriously Morbid tickle your fancy? If so, what colors catch you eye? Not really, I'm honestly a makeup coward and wear very small amounts.   do you have a favourite saying or quote? First thing that came into my mind: That which does not kill us makes us stronger- of course picturing it with   a Klingon motif.  Yes I am a serious Star Trek nerd.   How do you feel about spicy foods, and where on the Scoville scale do you hit your limit?  I like spice with flavor, but not heat for heat's sake.  Not sure where I am on the Scoville scale.  I use cayenne quite a lot but I think that's the highest one. I love Hatch chilis when I can find them. 

  How do you feel about coloring books, especially those pertaining to a personal interest or fandom?  I have several and find I don't use them like I thought I would      A few questions have been asked about knitted items--are crocheted equivalents acceptable?  (crocheted fingerless gloves, shawls, etc.)  Certainly crochet is just as welcome as knits Any fiber issues? Mohair is fine if it's not right next to my skin ( shawl yes, armwarmers, no)   About the Weenies: please list what you've bought or are definitely purchasing for yourself *as well as* what you would like to possibly receive from someone else!  I'm very curious about The Shadowed Veil Perfume Oil, but not gutsy enough to blind bottle.  If you happen to have anything in the Dead Leaves series (especially the vanilla incense one) that needs rehoming, I would love that (any that do not have musk) Ordering: Dead Leaves and Chai Perfume Oil Dead Leaves, Cacao, and Sandalwood Perfume Oil  All Souls Perfume Oil   Dear Witchee, are you at all boozy?  Anywhere between hard cider to straight whisk(e)y?  And any interest in the "unusual" stuff? Any whisk(e)y that  is not super Smokey/peaty  is welcome.  Bourbon is a wonderful thing. Whenever we travel we try all the locally made things.   Nail Polish: Do you need or want some?  If so, what colors and brands are you interested in? Nope.  My nails don't wear polish well.   Does anyone else do nail wraps? I love Their vanilla & ambers.  From the Halloween line- Samhain, Halloween BASTET 2016, Halloween 2019 or 2020    How do you feel about salt? I don’t mean, like, salted nuts or potato chips. I mean straight-up salt, like alder-smoked finishing salt or Hana Flake sea salt. It has been suggested that I have a salt problem ( hubby).  I would love to try any interesting salt.  I'm currently working on a jar of citrus blend salt & one with chili.     I am infamous for baking (shortbreads savory and sweet, poundcake, various cookies and bars), butter caramels (flavored or plain), and catnip.  Are any of these relevant to you or your household?  My furbabies would love to taste  your catnip.  We love shortbread and would love to try any flavors.  Something to nibble  with a London Fog latte perhaps?   Do you like to cook and do you need/want any spices for such pursuits? I love to cook & am vegetarian.  I've recently been playing with ground chilis that are single kind ( as opposed to blended chili powders) to see all the different flavors ( not the scary hot ones though)   Would you wear any of these?  Fern , Nuada, Manannan, Duleek Abbey  or an infinity scarf or tube cowl tall enough for a hood (like this scarf or this cowl for shape example)? Yes I would be thrilled, especially with Duleek- I saw someone wearing one the other day ( at Ren Fest) & was utterly charmed.   Do you have any utilitarian needs for everyday life? Things that would help or that you've been needing or wanting for work or whatever? The only thing that comes to mind is lunchbox type containers that are not trash waiting to happen- I'm trying to break my zip bag addiction and create less trash.   What kind of vegan snacks do you like? And vegan chocolate...favorites? My favorite vegan snack is nuts, especially deeply roasted spiced ones.  Many dark chocolates are vegan, & dark is my fave chocolate especially with nuts or orange.

I always go to my town's local Farmer's Market and they have booths selling things like candles, Gourmet Pickles, Flavored Oils and Vinegars, dog treats (like bones and animal feet), honey, and bath products. Would you like any of these things?  I love flavored vinegars & oils.  I just got a Persian lime olive oil for my birthday.   Do you have a preference for numbered packages for each night of the swap vs randomly selecting from unlabeled goodies?  I love the idea of my person curating an experience with numbered packages, but it's totally up to you.    If you didn't say much about your reading preferences in your survey but would be interested in receiving books, can you elaborate a bit? This is Halloween - bonus questions & assorted condiments

This is where I will put answers to questions asked in the group. Cellar Door just posted their Halloween goodies - I love their scents, soaps and candles - which of these might you fancy? Lavender Pumpkin, Autumn Apple Fest , Holland Hard Cider, or Basic Witch, should all smell wonderful.  Would especially love a Lavender Pumpkin candle.   If you'd like handmade knit items, are you good with soft wools or do you prefer acrylic only? Wool is king, except in summer when linen rules.   Are there any items you'd love for fall/halloweenie? (Ie mittens, hat, fingerless mitts, cowl, legwarmers).  My favorite thing to wear is fingerless mitts, especially longer ones. My Next favorite is a loose cowl.   Anyone fancying the new Paintbox Soapworks I adore their Bath streusel with the sorbetto as 2nd fave.  Current covets - Cathedral of Pumpkins or Indian Summer   Witch Baby Soap Halloween launches?  Never tried them. But the Blood & Milk scent sounds awesome – I have a great fondness for Blood orange scented things. I will update this as more questions come in.  Having trouble uploading my scent wish list, so I'm adding it to the bottom of this post.   Fandoms- I'm. A huge Star Trek fan. STTNG is my favorite. Dr Who as well.   Are you interested in any games?  Mad libs, exploding kittens, unstable unicorns, a deck of cards  Not so much.  I have THREE games I thought hubs would like to play that are still sealed (pout)   If you mentioned you liked bracelets or earrings to wear.... Bracelets:  Do you have preferences for metal color/type or would you prefer hemp/leather?   beaded?  bangles?   Wrist size?  Not much of a bracelet person – I catch them on things.   Earrings:  Colors / Metal Type / Style / Piercing size?  Stainless steel posts/hooks are preferred.  I have some silver & sapphire studs I wear most days, but fun dangly things are nice.   Say you like or collect travel mugs:   do you want them to have a city or state name?  Ceramic, stainless, or is plastic ok?   Size preference?  (12oz, 14oz, etc.)  Nope, not a thing in my house.   Are you interested in some travel size tastes of homemade liqueur?  Currently I have rose petal, lavender vanilla bean, and plum. I’d love to try the plum & rose.  I’m still working on a ginormous bottle of the lavender vanilla one that Twilight gifted me.    If someone were to make or get you a fun beach hat, what size is your noggin? This time of year, it’s Lavender – all the lavender forward scents.     Scent Wish List   In general, I’m open to trying anything that you recommend as long as it does not have a musk note – that is the ultimate gagging death note on me.  The most I can handle is in Serpentine that I think has a teeny bit from the Dorian component.  Other things I don’t do well with – Patchouli, smoke/embers (I keep trying smokey ones & keep hating them) My very best common notes are lavender, amber, & vanilla.  Lavender forward is a wonderful thing.  In the less common notes, I find that I do really well with alcohol notes like bourbon, whisky, or rum – one of those things I found with a handful of imps.  I also love cardamom, blackcurrant, & pear. In general, I always find something to love in any year’s Lilliths series, the Weenies, & Yule/Winter.  I love bath oils too.   BPAL Good Morning London Knight in Shiny Armor is my all-time fave - Serpentine Ghost Milk TKO – is there such a thing as TKO in bath oil?  That would be amazing. Dead Leaves & vanilla Incense Anything with Pear.  Is there such a thing as Pear & vanilla? Switch Witching 2020

Hello All, especially my Witch for SW2020   I thought it would be easiest to put some links & info here that might be of use.  Yes, I’m a crazy crafting fool that loves to make stuff & play dress-up.   Equilter.com – My wish list is public & under email addy lawardrop@comcast.net Etsy - https://www.etsy.com/il-en/people/lawardrop    Sure there are a few things sold out, but they give you some ideas.   Books – used books are always fine as long as they don’t smell of cigarette smoke (allergies – no fun to read while sneezing).  My current format for novels is mostly audio book.  I’m kind of late to the party but I am really enjoying them this way & can multitask while working on fiber projects.  I have an Audible account & other apps that let me listen to other types. I love Urban Fantasy, especially series that I can follow.  I prefer the ones that are more mysteries as opposed to “paranormal romance”.  (Some sex is fine if it makes sense for the characters, but the mystery & adventure is more what the story is based on). I’m current on Charles DeLint, Kevin Hearne, Kim Harrison & Faith Hunter (unless there’s a brand new Jane Yellowrock).  I love Seanan McQuire’s October Day series & believe I’m current – but have not read any other series she has.  I’m in the middle of Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series but have not read any of her other series.  I’ve read the Kate Daniels series by Illona Andrews, but not any other series (some of which I hear are straight up romance novels – no to those please). I’m open to other writers & other series if there is open you can recommend.  Please start me with book 1.

What length would you want (on either or both?)   What kind of fasteners do you like best (lobster claw, toggle clasp, magnetic?) and color of fasteners?  (silver, gunmetal, copper, gold?)  - some of the toggle clasps come in cool shapes. I will put all my follow up answers here.   Would you like to receive Girl Scout cookies and if so, what kind is your favorite? I do love thin mints, although they are not the best thing for me to eat.   Would you like a Gnome amigurumi?  (smol knitted or crocheted gnome)  -- if so, What gnome colors appeal to you?  (three-four colors please)   dark tones: blue, purple, green -- do any of these patterns appeal to you (I pretty much have all of them including the ones for humans but I'm not going to make a colorwork sweater for you, sorry.  I *might* make a hat or mitts if you like grey, blue, and red as shown because I already have that yarn.) Would you be interested in a small copper nature totem that could nestle in your garden or amongst your plants? I can do some chasing to create a mushroom or a leaf or a special bug friend.  This would be wonderful.  I love things like this.  I have a couple of “bug on a stick” plant stakes, but no mushrooms or leaves.   Would you be interested in a decorative pillow or zippered pouch featuring a gnomely figure?  like this? OH MY GOSH, IT HAS A BIRD NEST, YES PLEASE THIS IS FREAKING ADORABLE.  I have several bird nests made in different techniques on my living room bookcase.  Perhaps swap out the pink for any form of blue or purple?   I have an angora rabbit and she's currently molting. 8/27/23     Catnip (organic, from our property.  Dried in our dehydrator.) Canned food items Bluebarb jam (blueberry/rhubarb)  (has sugar.) Blackberry,  Jam  (they have sugar) Apple Crips (dried apples with nothing added, not sure what kind of apples we'll do this year.  Usually honeycrisp.)  These are soooooo good! I sort of have a collection of bitters. Vanilla ginger or Cinnamon bourbon both sound awesome.  Would you be interested in infusing kits for your alcohol of choice? Would love to try one.
