Meowingtons
Q&A
Would any witchees be interested in NASA swag? I'm now super-close to Marshall Space Flight Center and will be visiting the space center with my kiddo pretty regularly. If so, what would you like? Clothes, a mug, magnets, a plush Snoopy wearing a flight suit?
Sure, that would be neat.
Does anybody like anything from Solstice Scents? I LOVE their Jack and the Devil. http://www.solsticescents.com/
I've never tried any of Solstice Scents' products, but I'm always open to being enabled.
Witchee, would you like anything from the Trading Post Halloween update? https://blackphoenix...y/weenies-2017/
Wishes are added to ScentBase. (I'm almost always ahead of these because of updating, lol.)
Awesome farmer's market by my house. They have a local honey stand (which also sells things made from local honey like Propolis tincture!); there's a small apothecary and she additionally makes soaps and hand-made, hand-poured scented candles; plus a guy that makes an array of BBQ and Hot Sauces. Does ny of this appeal? Would you like anything from my local farmer's market?
All of those sound awesome! I love farmers markets, and supporting indie farmers & other businesses.
Smolder Cosmetics. Do any of their products (glitter, eye dusts etc) appeal to you? https://smoldercosmetics.com
Those are really pretty! I wear cool colors, typically purples and pinks, although I like greens too. And sometimes I do shades of peach.
Anything from Strobe Cosmetics (http://strobecosmetics.com)?
Their eye shadows are really pretty! Color-wise, see above. I especially love things with chromatic shift.
How would you feel about getting Hello Kitty stuff?
I like Hello Kitty! Chococat is my fave, but I also like Kitty herself.
Would you like to get some favorite recipes?
Sure!
Would you like anything from my shop? https://www.etsy.com/shop/LisaNut?
What the hell... looks like Etsy's down right now. Will check back later!
Would you like anything from the Haus of Gloi Fall Part II update? https://www.hausofgl...ween-scent-list
Apple Milk sounds awesome!
How do you feel about these little guys? https://lovemomiji.c...imited-editions
They're cute, but not really my fave.
Witchees, do you want anything specifically from this page? Mitts, hat, shawls, unicorn... http://iceweasel.net/switchwitch/
I like the SFO Sky Mitts and Stormy Tarts hat.
What are your top three most wanted DC'd or previous LE BPALs?
Brom Bones (it's my fave scent on my hubby, and he's been out for ages). We also really liked DeSade. For me, MB: Underpants. I know. Laugh it up. But a girl can dream, right?
What are some things you do NOT want to receive?
Actual underpants.
Is there anything from here that you might be interested in getting a print (or pillow/make-up case/etc) of? http://www.blackabbeystudios.com/store
Spell of Ravensong is awesome! Also Triggers and Starman.
Claire's has some super cute Halloween stuff. In the style of Haunted Mansion - black lace collars, lace and sparkle masques and the like. A few items in Dias de los Muertos style. Would you be interested in such things?
Sure!
Would you be interested in anything from Orange Thyme? https://shoporangethyme.com/ If so, which products/scents/flavors?
The body butter looks nice, in any of those scents. Lip balm: coconut lemongrass, Earl Grey, rosemary mint, orange clove, vanilla coffee.
Anyone like/want calendars or dayplanners? Nah, I just use my phone.
If you like stationery, do you like plain, colors, images, or specific DON'T LIKES?
I like images, cat things especially of course. In particular, I like to have little cards on hand I can include with swaps or pop in the mail if a friend is sick or as a thank you note, etc.
What about general desk stuff like cool colored paperclips and post it pads?
Sure! I especially like cool post-its.
Would anyone be interested in having any of Abigail Larson's artwork (either as a print or on something, like a pillow, blanket, or t-shirt)? https://society6.com/abigaillarson
I love her work! Fave pieces: The Cats of Ulthar, Toil & Trouble, Asenath, Mother of Dragons, Innsmouth, Full Moon, The Black Cat, La Befana. I also like the Hades & Persephone ones but can't pick a fave.
Does anything catch your eye from Ten Thousand Villages? http://www.tenthousandvillages.com/
Nothing in particular, but I do like their stuff, yes.
Would you be into receiving hand made (crocheted, sewn, felted, chain maille, scale, or duct tape, in my case, depending on the item) dishclothes? Scarf/shawl? Hat? Bag? Anything? Colors? (Duct tape, chain maille, and scales come in colors.)
I love scarves and wrist warmers.
Do you collect anything from SBUX like City Mugs, City Mug ornaments, City Cards, or Bearistas? If so, which do you need/want? Or would you like a City Mug or an ornament for fun?
I don't collect them, but I do have a card from Hawaii that one of my besties sent me when he lived there, and it's my current fave. Any of this stuff sounds fun, though.
Anybody want homemade fudge? I can do chocolate with or without nuts, peanut butter, and butterscotch.
Peanut butter fudge is my favorite, although I like chocolate too. I can't each much of any flavor, though, because it's so rich. I've never tried butterscotch.
Do you like spicy foods? I am currently addicted to these suckers and want to send you some buffalo ridged kettle potato goodness (https://www.billygoa...shop/1lb-kicker)
Yes! Yum.
What would you like from the Weenies updatus giganticus???
I've already added them to my ScentBase wishes. (I added them all to the site when they came out the other evening, and updated my wish list while I was at it.)
Do you collect the art cards that BPAL sends out? Any in particular that you are looking for or definitely don't need?
I hang onto them, although I'm not a hoarder of them. I always pop one into swaps & such. I'm not looking for any in particular, but they're always nice to have.
Do you like this beautiful art, and she makes stickers and prints...SOOOO gorgeous: https://www.shannatr...om/paperprints/
I'm sure my witch can guess at this point that my favorite is Nostalgia (the black cat). Gorgeous! I also like Corvid Love, Raposa's Garden and Sky Prism.
Favorite animals or wild creatures or mythological creatures?
Cats of course (of all sizes), wolves, foxes, crows, bats, owls. Mythologically, the Cait Sidhe, Dragons! Given my work with Hecate, I'm also warming up to other serpents.
Would you like any swag from the Depeche Mode concert? (pins, posters, shirts, program, dunno what they'll have!)
Yesssss!
Is anyone interested in the new Resistance scents that the Lab just released (Take a Knee and SN: Flor de Maga)?
Yes, especially Take a Knee. I have Bluebonnet, which surprisingly works for me, although florals usually don't.
Is anyone here into zero waste, plastic free living, urban homesteading, or any simplicity/minimalism-esque lifestyles? If so, could you use any tools or equipment?
Not really, although we do grow our own herbs and some veggies, and we compost. Don't think we really need tools for that.
Are you interested in anything from Bath & Bodyworks? Which products and scents do you like? www.bathandbodyworks.com/
Nah, they're not my fave.
I am possibly going to a crystal / gem show tomorrow. I can't afford expensive gem stones, but... What kind of crystals would you like?
Something that I don't have would be nice, or a cool piece in one of my favorite stones. Here's what I currently have (faves marked with *): Moss Agate, Amazonite, Amethyst, Apache Tear, Aquamarine, Bloodstone, Blue Calcite, Blue Chalcedony, Chiastolite, Citrine, Dragonstone*, Emeralid, Fluorite**, Garnet, Ocean Jasper, Picasso Jasper, Rainforest Jasper, Wine Jasper, Labradorite***, Lapis Lazuli, Lepidolite, Malachite, Moonstone***, Snowflake Obsidian, Quartz, Rose Quartz, Strawberry Quartz*, Rhodocrosite, Rhodonite**, Sapphire, Shungite, Tiger's Eye*, Black Tourmaline.
Pumpkin or Zucchini bread?
Pumpkin! I do like zucchini bread too though.
What kind of homemade cookies are your favorite?
Made by someone else (because I'm not good at making these)? Pumpkin, snickerdoodle, or peanut butter. Made by me? Chocolate chip w/ pecans.
Could you use a muscle rub? (We make ours on the lunar cycle and it has menthol, wintergreen, habanero, cayenne, olive oil, st. john's wort, arnica, beeswax, calendula, and ginger. It tingles. We call it "Thunder Butter". If you have really really super sensitive skin, I would recommend against it. And don't take a hot shower or open all of your pores before using it.)
I have pretty sensitive skin, so probably not the best idea for me.
Interested in trying some of our rose petal (rose petals, sugar, everclear) or lavender vanilla bean (lavender, vanilla bean, vodka) liqueur?
Yes! Lavender vanilla bean sounds great.
Want some honey from the bees on our property?
Yum!
Would you like some homemade jam? I have blackberry, rose petal, strawberry rhubarb, peach, and cherry.
Blackberry, peach and strawberry rhubarb sound great.
How about some homemade candied jalapenos with garlic cloves? I have regular and with habanero.
Yum!
I didn't dry any apples this year but I was thinking of heading over to Green Bluff and seeing if any honeycrisps are left. I have a commercial dehydrator so let me know if you are interested in any "Apple Crips" (as voodoocatwoman calls them!) I wash, peel, core, and slice before dehydrating.
I would totally nom those.
Do you need any kind of dice bag, tote, project bag, cosmetic bag, pencil bag, or whatever? I have lots of bag patterns and fabric. We make bags under the name Twinkle N Twilight.
Or how about a couple of pillowcases?
I can always use a cute tote to take to the farmers market / grocery store. Pretty happy with my pillow cases (I have the cool moon phases ones from Sin & Linen).
Do you like to take baths? if so, do you like oils, salts, things that fizz, all of the above, none of the above?
I do. (It's a pain in the ass because our water pressure is awful, so it takes forever to fill the tub and by the time it's full it's not hot anymore. I end up heating water in a big pot on the stove and lugging it upstairs so it will be warm enough – so Victorian!). And I like all of the above.
What style/make/etc of phone do you have? What about size of tablet? Laptop? Would you like decals, skins, or cases for any of these?
I have an iPhone 7, but I'm planning on upgrading to the iPhone X next month. I have an iPad Pro (the big one) and a 27" iMac (late 2015 model). I have MacBook Pro, but my hubby uses it more than I do now that I have the iMac, because he handles most of our meetings & sales-y stuff. I would love a cool skin or decal for the iPad or iMac tho.
Would my witchee like this to warm up the fall coffee cup?? https://www.truelemonstore.com/category-s/1871.htm
Yum!
See's Candy. My absolute favorite. They have special Halloween candy..any of these pique your interest?? Cinnamon Apple Scotch Mallows, Pumpkin spice truffles, pumpkinspice lollypops, caramel apple lollypops, or any other of their chocolates, etc?
Yes! Yum.
Are any witchees into coloring books? Yes
Witchees, is there anything that catches your eye at Animi Causa (https://www.animicausa.com/shop/)?
Not especially.
If I were to find an adorable autumnal/Halloween-y dish/flatware/etc. design, how many settings would be needed in your household?
Just two.
Do you like Broadway shows/music? If so what are some of your favorites and/or ones that you hope to see or listen to eventually? Would you like merch from your favorite shows or CDs from shows you want to listen to?
Generally speaking, no, although there are a few that I like. I would love to see Hamilton; I've listed to the soundtrack and watched some videos and it looks great.
I'm heading to NYCC in October! Is there anything I can get my Witchee while I'm there?
These sound nice: Apple Marshmallow hair gloss, Apple IV, VI & VII. And anything cool from comics or other fandoms I'm into would be awesome.
I'm going to Edmonton Expo this weekend (It's Edmonton's version of comic con). Would a witchee like anything from there?
Sure! See above.
[b[Anything catch your eye from this site (globalgirlfriend.com)?[/b]
They have nice scarves and jewelry.
Do you have any favorite, lesser-known stores? Especially ones that sell hand-crafted or independently made items.
Have I mentioned my obsession with Cat Coven? And this is one of my favorite Etsy shops: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DeBaunFineCeramics
Imagine you're going to the most gigantic art & craft show imaginable, and money is no object - what kind of things would you gravitate towards and probably spend money on? Include as specific as you want to get!
Stones/crystals, pottery, small home goods like candle holders and such.
Are you interested in anything from Think Geek? http://www.thinkgeek.com
Sure! Wish list.
Do you have something you wish you put on your original questionnaire/forgot to put/would like to add on to?
Um.... not sure right now, but if I think of something, I'll add it to the top of my list. Maybe the what-do-you-collect question: I kind of (very selectively) collect POP figures.
Any additional misc. information about yourself you want your Witch to know? (I think this was on the survey, but again if there's something that you forgot...)
See above.
If you could decorate your house (or one room) in any one theme, what would it be? Your answer can be as simple ("Star Wars" or "Baroque" or "Modern"), or complicated or a combination (e.g. Victorian Gothic) as you feel best fits.
Modern rustic witch maybe? LOL.
Aprons: Do you wear them, do you want one? Utility, decorative, cooking or crafting?
Nope.
BTW, would my witchee be interested in something like this? (photo of black and white striped knitted doll)
Sure!
It seems like there's a question about socks on the questionnaire, but I don't think it got down to this level: Do you wear them? Any particular style (crew length, knee high, anklet, boot, etc.) or fiber (wool, cotton, bamboo anything but wool, etc.) preference?
I wear socks with boots in fall / winter, and occasionally other times. I do have a Sock Dreams wish list.
Would you be open to previously-loved books? Of course!
What about partial-full bottles of BPAL or BPTP? Sure!
So what are your favorite fandoms?
There are so many, and you can probably get those from my books / authors / etc. lists.
I'm in France at the moment, is there anything here you might like? I'm in Provence, the land of lavender, so if you like that flower in particular just say so!
Wow! Sure. I would say wine & cheese, but those might be a PITA to ship. Really, any cool little thing would be wonderful.
Are you into divination? What kind(s) do you currently do? Do you want more books and/or tools for that type (e.g. new tarot cards, new runes)? Is there a new type of #divination you've been meaning to try, and if so, are you looking for the tool, a book on the subject, or both?
Yes!!! All the yes. Here are the tarot decks that I currently have: The Lumina Tarot, The Marseille Cat Tarot, The Art Nouveau Tarot, The Wild Unknown Tarot, Tales of the Mystical Cats, Spirit Cats (oracle deck), The Tarot of Pagan Cats, The Earthbound Oracle, The Cleopatra Tarot, The Vertigo Tarot, Gateway to the Divine Tarot, Revelations Tarot, The Amanda Palmer Tarot. I am trying, as you might guess at this point, to find all the cats deck I can.
I also have a pendulum, a set of witch's runes, and a scrying mirror that I've just started working with. I don't have a lot of experience with any of these, so any sort of tool, info or literature on those would be helpful, in particular for the runes and pendulum.
ETA: And I just got a set of Ogham discs from the latest Crone's Crate! I don't know anything about these. Should be fun to check out.
World my Witchee be interested in a Tarot or Astrology reading done personally?
Sure! I'm pretty good with both of these but it's always useful to get another's perspective. I was born 2/1/79 at 1:10 pm in Norton, VA, USA. In case you want to do anything synastry-wise (which I would love to learn more about), my husband was born 2/17/73 at 7am in Tampa, FL, USA.
Does my Witchee need any magical supplies?
That would be fabulous. I always need more stones / crystals (some faves: labradorite, purple/green fluorite, moonstone, rhodonite; if you wanted to send me something I don't have, poke me, and I'll make a list . Herbs are always good too, particularly things I can't grow here (things I grow and therefore always have on hand: sage, rosemary, thyme, basil, wormwood, rue, pennyroyal, bergamot, betony, feverfew). Little bottles for storing herbs are great too (all mine are full). Incense or incense paraphernalia. Really, whatever you thought would be cool to send would be appreciated and used. I know that some people like to choose all their own altar tools and such, but I think that receiving things like that as a gift imbues them with more significance than something I just bought on Etsy. And I'm also very open to old things / (inexpensive) antiques for this purpose.
Would you be interested in any of the seasonal (or regular) soaps from Cellar Door Soap (https://cellardoorbathsupply.com)?
Lawd, yes! Scents that look most enticing: Dead Man's Bones, October Road, Moonrise Bonfire, Midnight Mocha, Apple Fest, Pumpkin Guts, Samhain Hard Cider, Pumpkin Chai Latte.
Favorite gemstones?
Labradorite, moonstone (rainbow, black, peach... all of them), fluorite, emerald, amber (yes, yes, not a gemstone), garnet. I'm crazy about rhodonite right now too.
If you enjoy jewelry do you like discrete and elegant, flashy and gaudy, small and light, or large and chunky?
It depends on the piece, I think. I'd check out my Etsy lists for examples of things I like.
Any love of pirates or SCA?
I've never participated in SCA, although I've always found it intriguing. I like pirates just fine too.
Is there anything you would like from Disney World?
Fave Disney characters: Maleficient, Marie (from the Aristocats), Eeyore, or Star Wars or Marvel stuff.
Are you a Potterhead? If so, to which house do you belong?
Yes! I'm Ravenclaw.
How do you feel about chokers?
It depends on how comfy they are.
Would you like some Halloween or other themed decor in the form of a banner, something like this http://www.etsy.com/...n-decor-vintage?If so, would you prefer a traditional style or a vertical door type?
I prefer the vertical door type.
Do you live near a Trader Joe's? If not, are you interested in trying any of the numerous Pumpkin goodies they come out with this time every year?
The closest TJ's is an hour and a half away, so I don't get to visit very often. And OMG YES ALL THE PUMPKIN THINGS! (Yeah yeah, "so basic," but if loving pumpkin is wrong, I don't wanna be right.)
Do you like to cook and/or bake? Could you use any specific ingredients (spices, oils, salts, extracts, etc.) or kitchen utensils/gadgets?
My hubby is more the chef than me, except when it comes to baking. Spices and such would definitely get used, though, particularly things you can't find at just any grocery (examples: galangal, The Ingredient Which Cannot Be Found; curry leaves, which I can find but have to make a special trip). And I love hot sauce.
I'm at Ocean City MD for bike week......would a witches want anything from here? Bike or beach related??
Sure! Beachy things like shells would be fun.
What is 1 thing you would love to see in your final box? Can be ANYTHING - your choice.
Salted caramels
Who would love some USPS eclipse stamps?
That would be fun!
Do any of you potential Witchees have any kitties, puppers, or youngling humans you want spoiled in your packages? What treats or toys do they like?
I included my furbabes in my questionnaire. And yes, if you're so inclined. I think I have the feather toys my kitties prefer on my Amazon list (lol) and I can also use the narrow version of the corrugated cardboard scratchers. And the puppy! Lupa is 9 months old and still very chewy, so she needs toys. The problem is our big girl, Veela, likes to turn things into pieces of things. Like, in a matter of minutes. I really can't exaggerate how destructive she is. So anything we get has to be super sturdy. As an example, we've had some luck with the Kong Wubba toys (the really tough ones, not the plush ones). Also, no ropes (Veela tears them apart in 5 minutes and tends to swallow the strings... if you have dogs, you can imagine the results ).
Is there any interest in any of the fragrance oils from the Nocturne Alchemy Weenies update?
Yes! They're one of my favorite etailers. I ordered Black Cats, Hallowcats, and Every Pumpkin Counts... but there are so many lovelies! I'll add any others I'm interested in to ScentBase wishes.
Is there anything you want from the trading post (or trading post etsy) that is available to order right now? (Fatherhood, Puppers, normal GC things)
Yes! On ScentBase wishes.
Are you a gamer? If so, what games are you currently playing and is there any merch for that game you'd love to have?
I'm currently mostly into ESO, although I pop into WoW occasionally too (I'm in that bored-with-this-expansion phase). My other fave is Final Fantasy XIV. Can't wait for the next Dragon Age game. In general, I like RPGs, MMORPGs and survival horror (although there's none of the latter that I'm playing at the moment).
If you are a gamer do you have a steam/gamestop/amazon wishlist?
I do have a Steam wishlist. Not sure how to share it, but I have one. User cammycat79.
How do you feel about the following scarf options (assuming you're into scarves)? Simple eyelet scarf - Pretty Chevron scarf - I'm not crazy about the chevron points at the bottom. Lacy and fuzzy - Pretty Skinny rib knit (extra long for lots of wrapping) - Very nice and snuggly looking Leafy! - My favorite of the lot
Like beer? What styles most appeal to you?
Yes. My favorites are: sours (think more Flemish sour than, say, that watermelon gose crap); various Belgian styles; Lambics (but not usually cherry); German hefeweisens; stouts (but not Imperials); ambers and browns, particularly nut browns. I'm not a big fan of IPAs and other really hoppy styles.
Like booze? What kinds?
NOT RUM. Anything but rum, lol. It gives me headaches (as in, one drink will give me a headache). Faves: Scotch, bourbon, good tequila, vodka. In terms of liqueurs, I like Baileys (or other Irish Creams), Chambord (or similar), Kahlua, various absinthe-like things.
Like Wine? What kinds?
So very much. I'm a huge wine nerd. Cabernet Franc is my favorite varietal, followed by Mourvedre / Monastrell. Geographically, I tend to favor Italians, and wines from Oregon (particularly their Pinot Noirs) and Washington. I love tart or dry German Reisling (Kabinett or drier), especially the tart ones (yes, I like my Reisling to basically taste like Sweet Tarts; so sue me). I'm a big fan of rosé (not that White Zinfandel bullshit; real rosés), particularly those made from Cab. In general, I prefer old world style reds. I like them complex and interesting. This isn't to say that I don't like new world stuff, because I do, but I prefer they not be too jammy / fruit bomb-y. I drink less white wine than red, but I do like it, particularly French whites. I rarely like sweet or dessert wines. I rarely like Sauvignon Blanc, because I don't like the "green bell pepper" note that so many of them have.
Oh but wait! Whoever came up with these three questions forgot my other beverage love: CIDER! This is the best cider on the planet. My personal fave is the Stayman Winesap, followed by First Fruit. In general, I prefer cider made champegnoise style like this one (which is not to say I won't drink others).
Would you be interested in a set of hand-made hair falls? It's something I do for fun and I can make any length and do an array of colors!
Sure! I typically keep my hair dyed some sort of fun color. Right now I have galaxy hair in blue, magenta, and purples.
For those who watch certain movies every year for Halloween, what are those movies, whether horror or not? Any favorite horror movies that aren't necessarily on the annual-viewing list? How do you feel about fan-made merch for these movies?
I always watch Trick 'r Treat, Nightbreed,
Here's a great local soapmaker I love--y'all see anything you would like? https://littleseedfarm.com
The liquid soap in Rosemary Mint sounds nice, and the activated charcoal detox scrub.
What are your favorite/preferred Halloween/autumn icons/images? Any to specifically stay away from?
Black cats (of course!), witchy things, crows, bats, pumpkins & pretty leaves. I am not a fan of spiders.
Do you eat candy, and if so would Halloween candy be welcome? Specialty candy from local or unusual sources? Chocolate?
Yes, and yes. I would love love love specialty candy from local or unusual sources (generally speaking, I am a fan of just about everything from local or unusual sources; I love to support small / indie businesses). And I do like chocolate.
Do you want Fidget spinners, desk toys, or other frivolous things that you look at and decide you don't need enough to spend $ on but would make you happy to have?
Sure!
Any zentangle lovers, people who would like to try it, or would you want a piece of someone else's zentangle art?
It's pretty but not really for me.
Any love of hair toys, clips, ribbons, fascinators, mini hats, etc?
Any hair thing for me needs to be able to cope with fine hair, otherwise it will just slide out. I do like fascinators and comfy-but-pretty headbands I can wear to yoga or out hiking.
What local goodies may be of interest? Local Honey, jams, candy?
Yes! See above question re: candy. I like honey too. But really anything.
Are you interested in any prescription subscription services like serial magazines, Birch box, ipsy?
I used to get Ipsy and liked it. I wouldn't mind trying something similar, skin care / beauty related. Or something cat related. Or witchy. Right now I get Magickal Folk's eclectic witchery kit, which I really like.
Would you like funky Halloweenie costume makeup like Gothic eyelashes, nail effects, black lipstick, etc.?
Things like nail polish / decals / etc. would be ok, but nothing that goes on skin. My skin is too sensitive.
How do you like to listen to music? CD, 8 track tape, mix tape, Pandora or Spotify, I-tunes?
I collect records! That's my favorite way, although given money and space constraints, I only buy things I really love in that format. Otherwise, I listen to mp3s using iTunes or Amazon Music (I have an Echo, so I either buy from Amazon or copy things I buy through iTunes to my Amazon account), or listen to Pandora.
Do you prefer reading on Kindle or actual book? What kind of books do you like? Would you like to be surprised with a scary, classic, horror book?
Usually I prefer Kindle books (although I can use any ebook format, and also have the Nook app, so no worries there if you hate Amazon, dear witch; I know some people do). I prefer any kind of book that I might be flipping back and forth in for reference in print (examples: any kind of reference book, cookbooks, etc.). I often by books by favorite authors in print too. In any case, my Amazon list has the preferred format, or should. If you're not sure, just ask! And yes, I would love to be surprised with a scary, classic horror book. I'm sure you can get a good idea of my tastes from my Goodreads.
Candles, Incense, or wax tarts? Do you have favorite brands or Weenies scents for the home? Would you like to receive a wax tarts burner, incense burner, essential oils diffuser, or Halloweenie themed candle holders?
In order of preference: candles, incense, wax tarts. I LOVE Sihaya & Co.'s candles; they're my favorites. I would love an essential oils diffuser (I don't have one) or Halloweenie candle holders. FYI, I also do loose incense, so in terms of accessories, I can always use charcoal tabs too.
Witchee: are you interested in crafting materials?
Sure. I can always use things like: small cloth bags in various colors (think the size of the velvet-y bags you sometimes get from the Lab)
I'm in Japan, is there anything specific from here you would want?
Cute things! Particularly cute cat things, or fox things. I love Totoro. Also any fun sheet masks or other Asian beauty goodies (particularly cute ones, lol). I'm also open to snacks.
How do you feel about nail wraps?
They're fun.
If you were to receive something hand knit, what type of item would you like? hat, cowl, handwarmers, etc. and what color(s)?
I would love a scarf or handwarmers. My usual favorite colors from the questionnaire are always a safe bet, but I'm also really into wine shades right now. Miss Twilight posted this pic on Instagram, and I am in love with that yarn. So pretty!
- would you use knitted washcloths? a scarf? Are you allergic or sensitive to any fibers?
I love scarves. I would be open to trying a knitted washcloth, if the yarn is very soft. I'm weirdly sensitive to acrylics, so natural fibers are best. For the washcloth in particular, probably something really gentle like cotton, because I'd mostly be using it when I wash my face.
If you could be ANY character from a film, TV show or book, who would it be and why?
Not any specific character, but I wish I was one of the Cait Sidhe (from Seanan McGuire's October Daye series). If you've read the series, the why is obvious, but if not: they're fae cats who can shapeshift into human form.
If you could hop into a time machine and travel anywhere/anytime, where would it be and why?
I'm not one of those people who thinks "I was born in the wrong era" or whatever. Things aren't perfect now, but they were even shittier for women in the past. The only thing I can think of is I might travel back a few decades to see a band I love and have never / will never get to see play live (Joy Division, for example), as long as I could hop right back here. I wouldn't mind skipping 45's entire presidency, either, except I'm too afraid I'd go forward and find he's nuked us all. Sigh. Moving right along.
If you could invite 3 famous people to a BPAL meet and sniff, who would invite?
I'd rather meet fellow BPAListas I only know online than meet a celebrity. Except maybe Seanan McGuire, because I happen to know she's a fan, so she'd probably enjoy a meet & sniff.
Do you like and/or want anything from Elements and Artifacts? You can be vague like "yes" or "no" or name specific past pieces you coveted or current ones you love, whatever works best.
Yes! I love Alicia's work. For stylistic reference, I added the ones I have to my Purchased Loves list on Etsy. The Triple Moon is my current favorite. I'm also crazy about the pumpkin earrings she does in the fall.
Would you like something hand sewn by your Witch? A dress, shirt, skirt, infinity scarf, something else?
A scarf would be great. Ooh, or a tarot cloth! I've been trying to find something I like.
Anyone want any kind of costuming accessories or makeup or odds and ends?
I don't think I need anything right now. I have a plan coming together.
Anyone like handmade critters, stuffed animals, or custom repaints?
Sure!
Would you enjoy any designer/specialty yarn for your own craftyness?
I'm still trying to learn to knit, so no. Save the fancy stuff for when I finally figure it out.
Would anyone like a donation made in their name to a cause or charity?
That would be super sweet. Favorites: Big Cat Rescue, Best Friends Animal Society, Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter, Southern Poverty Law Center, the Innocence Project.
Please provide wishes from the last two updates?
Should be on my wish list at ScentBase. I'm also getting decants from Fatherhood, so once I try them, I will add accordingly. And let's not forget that Weenies are not live yet (and I am dying to see them; it's my favorite update of the year).
Do you enjoy stationery? I'm thinking cute/quality notebooks, washi tape, stickers, fun pens etc.
Yes. I'm particularly fond of things like cute (but still styled / large enough to be useful) post-its and stickers. I love pens too, but I'm a little particular about them. My handwriting is basically illegible with larger-point pens, so I go for the really fine point ones (0.5 or less). It can be kind of hard to find good ones.
Are you interested in anything from Cocoa Pink? I wouldn't mind trying their Coco Mango Butter.
- Or Haus of Gloi? I am slightly obsessed with Pumpkin Butter. YMMV, but it's the best body butter I've used (and I have dry skin, so I've tried a lot). Ghost Puffs is one of my favorite scents! I just got a sample of Grimoire and really liked it too, and I'd love to try Pumpkin Cake Pops, Hex, Salted Caramel, and Candy Corn. Product-wise (aside from beloved pumpkin butter and of course perfume), I love whipped soap (when they're available) and I'd love to try their bathing dust, hair oil, or scrub.
Would you be interested in a Halloween wreath? Yes! I love having a nice door wreath.
Are you interested in anything from the Moonalisa Halloween update? Sure! Things that look especially nice: lip butters, shower gel, butter cream, bath soaks, candles... well, pretty much anything except the hair conditiner. I *really want* to try these indie conditioners and shampoos, but my hair is color treated (very color treated, as you will see if you check out my Instagram and such), and they never list whether their products are color safe or not, so I don't risk it. :/
What are your coffee and/or tea preferences?
Coffee: Whole beans, and I prefer medium-to-dark roasts. Some faves for reference: This is my local coffee hookup, and I am obsessed with Monsoon Malabar, Mysore Nuggets, and Espresso Milano. So roasts in that vein would be awesome.
Tea: Black, green, white, herbal, I like them all. I like Chai too. Here's the description of one of my faves, Black Cats & Pointy Hats by Dryad Tea: "All things autumn, mulled spices and apples. Delightful with honey and great to drink as crisp leaves fall from trees ready to sleep for the season." Gadgetry-wise, the only thing I can think of would be one of those tea travel mug type things.
How would you feel about receiving a hand-painted container for your bpal and/or other treasures? That would be so fabulous!
- would you want a big wood box (~50 bottles), a small wood box (~20 bottles) or a tin for carrying imps around? Probably the larger box would be best, lol.
Who is into K-Beauty (Korean beauty products like sheet masks) Me me me me me!
- What are your faves if you are? Ingredient-wise, I'm all about snail good & ferments. Some fave products: Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream & Snail Recovery Gel Cream; Manyo Factory Lactobacillus Bifida Mist (Pumpkin ferment! And you remember I said I love pumpkin butter? I am a firm believer in all things pumpkin, and they also have a pumpkin ferment serum I'd love to try); Acwell 5.5 Bubble Free pH Balancing Cleanser; Neogen BioPeel pads (I like the wine ones best); RE:P's Bio Fresh Mask with Calming Herb; and practically anything Klairs makes. I have sensitive skin that tends toward dryness, and Klairs, RE:P, and Neogen have been really good to me on that front. I love them. I love sheet masks too.
- Some stuff I would like to try: I'm hearing a lot about camellia oil, and would love to try one of those products. I'd also like to try more of the bath & body K-Beauty stuff.
What are some NEW things you've gotten interested in this year? Could be anything, from a new hobby, new genre of book, new healthy way of living, new fav brand of whatever...
~ WARNING: WITCHY STUFF AHEAD ~
Probably the most significant / important thing is that I'm studying the Sorcery of Hekate with Jason Miller. So, working to build a relationship with her and be initiated into her mysteries. I'm an eclectic solitary practitioner, and this is really the first formalized tradition I've worked in. It was an investment, and I waffled about it for ages before signing up at the last minute, but I'm really glad I did.
I also took Aeolian Heart's astrology course DISCOVERY, and again, that was awesome. I had taken her free HEARTBEAT email course previously, and learned a lot, but DISCOVERY gave me a much more in-depth knowledge of not only "how to read an astrological chart," but also how to work with astrological forces in witchery. I feel like I've totally leveled up.
~ NON-WITCHY STUFF ~
K-Beauty! I've always been into skincare, but this has really upped my game.
Yoga: this is not new, but several years ago my yoga teacher stopped teaching when she had a baby... and she never came back to teaching. I'd made friends among the small group of us who took her classes, and although I still see them occasionally, it definitely hasn't been the same. I was really, really upset, actually. I have social anxiety, and it's hard for me to make friends, so I took it pretty hard. And trying to find a new class, having to deal with being "the new person" again, felt kind of overwhelming. Anyway, I've really wanted to go back, and when I started working with a friend who's a life coach, she was super encouraging and helped me get over my bullshit and try out a new studio... which I love. I'm super happy to be practicing again, and I've made some new yoga friends there, and even have my husband coming in with me once a week.
What are your feelings about Scooby Doo? It was one of my favorite, if not the favorite, cartoons growing up. I love it.
How do you feel about indie makeup (read: loose eyeshadow, blush, highlighter)? Yay! I love it. I've been wanting to try Black Moon Cosmetics. I like Rituel de Fille, although I don't like how pricey they are. I also got a really great liquid lipstick from Notoriously Morbid in a Sihaya & Co. box and I love it. It's one of very few liquid lipsticks I've tried that I like, so I'd love to try more of their stuff.
I drink this stuff almost everyday would anyone else be interested in trying it out? www.criobru.com Sure! Sounds interesting.
Would you like one of the Halloween Teeturtle shirts? OMG yes! (Women's Ultra Slim L) Faves:
https://www.teeturtle.com/products/spooky-kitties?variant=44423679241
https://www.teeturtle.com/products/spellbound?variant=44569082633

https://www.teeturtle.com/products/dia-de-los-foxes?variant=44426482185
Would you be interested in things from Future Primitive?
Sure! I'd love to try the body whip, whipped soap, or body polish. Scents that look interesting: Pumpkin'ead, Pumpkin Eater, Dust Witch, Toffee Moon Face
Are there any UK things you'd like to get? Sure! Can't think of specific wishes off the top of my head, but chocolates and other snackies are always great, or anything cool from little indie producers (like Future Primitive above) that I might not be able to get here would be really cool.
Are you into podcasts? If so, what are your favorites? Would you like any merch related to any of them?
I'm way into podcasts. Faves: My Favorite Murder, The Black Tapes, Tanis, Welcome to Night Vale, King Falls AM, Small Town Horror, Last Podcast on the Left, Up and Vanished, Crime Town, Pagan Gumbo.
And my new favorite that I'm loving so so much: Steal the Stars. So well produced, such good acting. And it's a discrete story, not an ongoing series, that's more like an old-fashioned radio play (there's no "this is a podcast" element to the fiction; it's just audio drama).
And yes! I love podcast merch.
Would you like something from Nui Cobalt Designs? Or maybe some of Christina's lovely Halloween candles at Sihaya & Co.?
I have everything I need right now, I think... I'm obsessed with those candles, though. Obsessed.
ILNP? Who would love one of their awesome holos like MEGA or one of their amazing chromes?
Wow! I've never tried their polish before but it looks beautiful. Some colors that look tempting: Black Orchid, Undenied, Peace, Chleo, Moonstone, Deja Vu, Interstellar, Poetry, Lilac Bridges
Are there any hobbies or crafts you've been thinking of trying, but haven't had the chance yet?
None that I can think of.
Would you want to receive a custom spell kit or magical tea? If so, what purpose would you want it to be for?
That would be great! Something to help see / connect with spirits.
Do you like poetry? I love it.

Q&A ====8/29/20==== Does anything from Paintbox Soapworks catch your eye (http://paintboxsoapworks.com/)? Always! I'm a huge fan of her sorbetto scrubs, and I would love to try her perfume/hair oils (I like her soaps too but I currently have a LOT of soap). Currently eyeing: Pumpkin Daddy, Cathedral of Pumpkins, G.O.A.T., Putney Road. Does anything from the Trading Post's etsy page catch your eye (https://www.etsy.com/shop/bptradingpost)? Loving these: Honey Maple Hot Toddy hair gloss, Pecan Pie perfume, the Bat Woman pendant.
====8/30/20==== Is there anything you want from Japan? Current kit kat flavors are... Salty Lemon, Salty Lychee, Sweet Potato, Chestnut and possibly still some Cookies and Cream Ice Cream or Strawberry Ice Cream from summer. Other than that, anime goods, cute stationery, other Japanese snacks, lay it on me! Salty Lemon! I've always wanted to try those. The matcha ones sound great too. Other than that, I would love cooking toppers or additions that aren't common in US grocery stories, like furikake, togarashi, sauces, that sort of thing. I'm also open to whatever. I love spicy and salty/sweet or savory/sweet combos. Cute kawaii type stuff with cats, bats, or foxes would be fantastic too. (Hello Kitty wise, I like Chococat.) What are your favorite self-care items or activities? I'm especially curious about things that you hesitate to do/get because they feel like frivolous luxuries. Bath bombs. I absolutely love Lush bath bombs. I'm also open to trying other bath bombs, especially black ones.
===9/1/20=== Are you familiar with https://www.a-natural-alternative.com/ ? Take a peak & let me know if you might like to try something. I always like flavored lip balms.
====9/2/20==== Would you like a face mask from one of my favorite artists? https://akumuink.com/collections/facemasks Yaaaassss! So cute. I like these: Bloody Little Secret, Sinister Smile, Plague Seeker One of our fellow BPAL friends makes custom masks, Hakutaku Custom Masks on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/HakutakuMasks/ ). Would anyone be interested in one of her masks? Those are gorgeous! I like 40, 41, 43, and the Foxy fabrics. ====9/3/20==== Would you like anything from here? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TaterRoundsBeauty The Black Phillip candle is awesome!
====9/5/20==== What are your feelings on home made/ home canned jams & pickles or syrups? I even make things with berries I grow in my garden. I make both brandied & bourbon cherries. Syrups good for cocktails, in lemonade or tea, flavors include Lavender, Lavender + Lemon, & Lavender + Vanilla. Interested? That sounds awesome! The only problem is I'm not a fan of lavender as a flavor, generally speaking. I do like lemon and vanilla. I currently have a couple bottles of good bourbon cherries or I'd be all over that. If you have strawberry jam, that would be awesome. Is there something that you're especially hoping to receive for this round? For example, a brand you've heard of that you're especially wanting to try, or a certain "thing" that you really want but just cant bring yourself to buy for yourself? Hmmm. Not that I can think of off the top of my head, but may come back to this if I think of one. Would you rather receive supplies/tools for your own craft/hobby or receive something you can't make yourself? Right now, receive something I can't make myself. I have supplies, just... haven't had the inspiration for awhile for jewelry making. Is there anything you'd like from Penzeys (https://www.penzeys.com/)? Sure! I'd love to try their curry powders (anything in this group https://www.penzeys.com/online-catalog/indian-curries-8-jar-gift-pack/c-24/p-1550/pd-gb), epazote, guajillo and tien tsin peppers, Fox Point, Raspberry Enlightenment, seafood soup base, or really anything you can recommend. (I've tried California and Russian.) ====9/8/20==== Art and artists - anyone dig any of this? https://www.studiodesade.com/ (They also do masks, see here.) That's cool AF. I love their masks too. If you knit/crochet/weave, would you like custom dyed yarn? And if so do you have preference on weight, fiber, colors? Not for me, thanks. I'm still occasionally trying to learn, so I'm not at the custom yarn stage yet. What is one fun/frivolous thing for $20 or less that you’d enjoy? If I sent you to a dollar store with $20, what would you walk out with? Beer ====9/9/20==== Would anybody like a small cross stitch thing, like a patch or pin? or cross stitching notions like handmade needle minders? A patch or pin would be cool! ====9/11/20==== Is there anything you'd like from the UK? A pre-paid shipping container to smuggle me out of this dystopian hellscape? Do you have a particular fandom you'd like stuff from? I can't think of any fandom-related stuff I need at the moment. How do you feel about tea? Preferences? Would you want anything from David's Tea (https://www.davidstea.com/us_en/home/), Steepologie (https://www.steepologie.com/), Bird & Blend (https://birdandblendtea.com/us_en/), or do you have a favorite tea maker to suggest? What about tea tools or cups? I love tea but I'm pretty well fixed for tea now (read: out of storage space). How do you feel about fragrant things for the home like incense, candles, atmosphere spray? Yes. Do you share your home with any loved ones (human, feline, canine, etc.) who might enjoy a tiny treat too? One boyfriend, four cats, a doggo, and a danger noodle (sneks don't really do treats tho).
====9/12/20==== Does anyone like the prints or items from www.ElissaMarieCreative.com? I have a few of her prints and the notebooks and they are quality! I'd love to try the notebooks, and everything from the Halloween and Witchy collections looks awesome. The face coverings are also beautiful, particularly the one with the moth. What about www.drawingsbynicole.com? Anything specific? Not really my thing. Does anything from www.vapidlacquer.com stick out to you? The nail sauce and nail elixir look interesting. Color-wise, Nonsense and Pessimist. I do pour painting/acrylic fluid art (with varying degrees of success, haha). Would you like a custom piece in colors of your choice (takes 3-4 weeks with curing, longer if you want it sealed, so it would arrive post-round if custom) or a piece already finished in my collection? I have mostly 12 x 12 and 10 x 10s right now. Pics available upon request! I have a ton of art that isn't hung up right now, so probably best to hold off on acquisitions for the moment. After enjoying looking at the links several others have put in the questions, I decided to add some of my own favorite independent artists who I enjoy supporting - so, what do you think of the goodies from these people? And specific items you love? Enjoy! 1) https://www.catcoven.com/ 2) https://www.mineralgypsy.com 3) https://www.redbubble.com/people/thelatestkate/shop 4) https://www.marikapaz.com/shop/ 5) https://www.faunwood.com 6) https://www.shannatrumbly.com/ 7) https://fiddlersgreenzine.com 8 ) https://www.hedgespokenpress.com I am obsessed with Cat Coven and The Latest Kate (I have her Thera-Pets deck). One of the things I do is make nifty things from sweaters that I cut up & upcycle into things like super warm mittens, arm warmers, striped arm warmers, cowls, teapot cozies, & French press cozies. I don't have a slipper I love yet, but I'm working on it. So, which of these things might you like? Give me some thoughts on colors you like & if for a teapot or press, I need to know a size. Mittens and arm warmers sound great. I don't really wear colors beyond black, so it would need to be dark. Black/greys/purples, that sort of thing. I enjoy historical reproductions and am a fan of LBCC Historical Apothecary. Is there something in her store you might be interested in? Facial Powder of the Fairies and the rouges and lip balms look really pretty. ====9/13/20==== Do you have a favorite art style/movement/artist? Art Nouveau Who is your fashion icon(s)? Siouxsie Sioux What is your favorite mythological creature? Cait Sidhe
is there anything you want from Lush? Bombs, bombs and more bombs! They are my love. Do you need any astrological work done, since thats one of my professions? Any particular areas you could utilize a consultation? Nope. I can do my own. How do you feel about the homemade fudge I sell in my etsy shop? https://www.etsy.com/shop/HollysRainbow -particular preferences, flavors (consider I take special flavor requests all the time!)? Sadly, I'm trying to lose weight, so no fudge for me at this time. How do you feel about keto or sugar-free, low carb baked goods or treats? Nah. ====9/14/20==== Anything you'd like from Future Primitive: https://futureprimitivesoap.co.uk It looks like they're really low on stock right now, but I love scrubs and whipped soaps, and I've wanted to try theirs. Yes, I make an exception to my "I have enough soap" policy for whipped soap. Don't @ me.
Do you have an Etsy wishlist? Yes. Linked up top. I wanted to share this link to a soapmaker I love and ask if y'all see anything you would like from them! https://www.herbneden.com/ Maybe a body butter? Nui Cobalt Designs perfumes...(just got her latest email): How about the scents being discontinued? The Critters? https://nuicobaltdesigns.com/collections/critters-2020?page=1 or other ones? I love love love love Nui Cobalt. Critters! Cooper Fox, Grey Wolf, River Otter, Silver Fox ====9/15/20==== I have a friend who does pet caricatures. He's done ones for all of my pets. Is this something you would be interested of for your pet(s)? Sure! That would be lovely. Do you decorate seasonally/for holidays? Is there anything in particular you would like to that end? I do, and honestly, I have nothing right now. When I moved a couple years ago, I purged a LOT of things from my old life.
Would you like anything from House of Gloi, especially from their Autumn Update? (https://www.hausofgloi.com/collections/fall-1) All the things. I love the Haus, particularly their pumpkin butters and whipped soap. Ghost Puffs is one that I stock up on every year because I adore it. Others I'd love to have: Hex, Olde Cider Haus, Persephone's Descent. I know the tea question has been asked, but what, specifically, about Adagio teas? Argh! Don't tempt me. I do love their teas. What about anything tempting from Dandelion Chocolate? Yes. I know what I said about fudge, but this is an entirely different affair. ====9/16/20==== Would you, my dear Witchee, like anything from April Gloom? https://www.etsy.com/shop/AprilGloom (this is our @spookygrrrly - switch witch code coming soon to a spreadsheet near you.) We have a love/hate thing. Generally speaking, no. Except with boots. Which I wear all fall and winter. I love leg warms and tights tho. I will update my Sockdreams wishes today. Link added to top of this post. If you're not near one, is there anything from Trader Joe's you'd like? There's one close enough for me to visit. How do you feel about local items from my city, like spicy (think chili) things or local coffee? The coffee is not spicy lol. I love spicy things and coffee. Do you have good feelings about Funko Pop? Yes. I have a few on my Amazon wish list. ===9/17/20=== Is there something from your fandom that popped up in another country you'd be particularly interested in? What, and what store? Nope, not at the moment. Would you be interested in some boozy chocolates (or anything else) from https://www.chocolatemoonshine.com/ ? No thanks ===9/18/20=== Witchee, assuming you like home made/home canned condiment goodies, what is your spice level preference? I like it hot!

It has spices, fudge, Knick knacks, all things Texas, candy, beef jerky, roasted nuts, and of course beavers! Most things like the fudge and nuts are made in house. I don't think so? Not familiar with it. ===9/20/20=== How do you guys store your decants so they are not a confused mess? If you've got a system, please share it. Hahahahahaha. They are a confused mess. ===9/21/20=== I'm a knitter. I have some knitted washcloths done, and can knit up more. Would you like some? Also, if answered soon enough, I can maybe get a scarf done. Would you like one? What colors would you like? Thin or thick? With or without fringe? Are you allergic to any fibers - wool, cashmere, angora, alpaca? I love scarves. Something in blacks/greys/purples would be nice. I prefer natural fibers, though wool is a little itchy. Witchee, darling, there's a *slight* chance I might be going on a trip next week and *might*, in the course of this trip, have access to Disneyworld goodies from Epcot and Magic Kingdom - any stuff you might desire? No idea of anything specific, but the Artistocats is my favorite Disney movie. ===9/22/20=== Would you like any of Snag Tights’ Halloween offerings and if so, what size? Ooh yes. Size D? Looks like. Yay in food/drinks but nay in other products (soaps, perfumes, etc.) or vice versa? What are your thoughts? Yay-ish. I love those scents. Food and drink wise, I prefer pumpkin spice to 1. have actual pumpkin not just nutmeg and 2. for the spice to be more cinnamon. I'm not a big nutmeg fan, and I find too many "pumpkin spice" things are just "here's a bunch of nutmeg!" Candy corn – love it or loathe it? Or just don’t care much one way or another? I wouldn't say I loathe it, but it's not my fave. ===9/23/20=== https://www.poesieperfume.com/loose-leaf-tea <---- would you be interested in receiving tea and / or scents from Poesie? Intriguing scents: Black Cat Cuddles(!!!), Elemental Tea Party, Medusa, Persephone, Creature Comforts, Madchenland. I'd be up for trying the tea too. Not sure what flavors, so basically, recommend something without lavender. I have been remiss--witchee (or anyone needing a minion), I am notorious for homemade caramels, shortbreads both savory and sweet, and catnip/catnip laced toys. I've also started playing with homemade marshmallows and fruit candies. Any interest? Yes please! ===9/25/20=== I happen to live near this amazing place. I'm going to be working with Christopher Brewster who is Daredevil in the suit (i.e. the stunt performer but not the FACE of the actor... but when the suit is on... its Brewster). I wanna know LOL Not my top fandom, but yes, I love that show!

Some recent tests
Some Possets reviews
"Epinoia" is a state of mind where one is possessed by a fit of supernatural creativity. The perfume Epinoia is a concoction of natural indulgences: cocoa, sweet spice, classy citrus, and vanilla. The natural perfume lovers' answer to foody scents, luscious. I like this one better than the synthetics by a country mile. Keep out of reach of children and adults with a sweet tooth. There is nothing but hedonistic indulgence in Epinoia, nothing good for you or medicinal just pure unabashed luxury.* Characteristics: fruity, orange, chocolate, unisex, scent locket, home scent.
Ooh! A really lovely, foody scent. Cocoa with vanilla and a touch of citrus. Love it!
Glee
Oh, the Glee of spring! Here it is. Another chocolate scent but this one is, how you say, spicy? No, it's oriental and choco... No. It's...it's...it's... Oh, heck. You just have to try this one and supply your own description. Words fail even me, and I warn you it is not stable! I love this stuff. Love it. However, it turns on my skin. Just let it dry and it Hates me. I hope it does not happen to you. Most of the time if a scent does not agree with me I don't offer it, but this time I think that Glee is so good that I offer it with the warning and let you know that I love it and wear it in my scent locket. That's right, it's that good. Give it a try and see what you think. Amended to say: for some celestial reason my skin stopped hating Glee. I am so happy. But try this stuff anyway. It is really good. Characteristics: Chocolate, foody, woody, unisex, scent locket, modern, home scent.
Chocolate and Middle Eastern spices. Maybe a touch of coffee. Lovely!

Possets KITTEHS!
Like a ghost drifting into your consciousness. Very smooth, very suave, very insinuating. Gabby is the perfect Halloween kitty who has you loving her sweet soft ways. Two ambers twine suggestively like a cat's tail around a center of pure milk and a shot of sugar, or better than sugar! Very nice stuff.
Oh, yeah. This isn't one of those ambers that goes all wonky/powdery/old lady on me. This is pure heaven. Soft and sweet and fabulous.
Libby - The Classic Halloween Black Cat!
Just plain old fun at Halloween. Just about all the things that you can revel in once a year and a few more. Coconut lovers rejoice, licorice lovers rejoice, A big glob of Blood Orange and a shot of plain old sugar candy, and goodness knows what else. This one does a wild cat dance.
In the bottle, the blood orange is pretty strong, which had me a little worried. Citrus doesn't always work on me. No problem! The coconut and licorice keep it under control, and it's just a fun, fabulous fall scent. I definitely get a candy scent from this, but it's not too sweet thanks to the coconut. Also very nice.
Thanks to my awesome witch, SeaMonkey, who sent me these!
