Good news, bad news, good news!

I was out of town for a week so I couldn't hop on much. But it's the Lunacy and time for another order! White Moon doesn't sound like my cuppa joe, so I placed an order for the Trick or Treat Inquisition! I made a plea to be Tricked and I hope I get either one of those oils, they sound great, and the Treat oils sound a bit too sweet and foody. So we'll see!

The good news was that we had a really fun road trip -- we went to Ohio to see friends and DH's family and drove back to Dallas over a couple of days. On the way back we stayed one night in Memphis, which was a blast! We've driven through the city but never stopped. Beale Street was like Vegas without the casinos -- a ton of bars and restaurants and stores bursting with Elvis stuff and a great voodoo store called Tater Red's Lucky Mojo.

The bad news is I'll probably be out of a job in a month. No big drama, our product line was purchased by a competitor and everyone gets a nice severance payment. I'm a little down, though, because we had a great bunch of people and I really liked this job.

But more good news! I'll probably head back to my old job at the law firm. Today I finally told my good friend who's still there, who said "YAAAAYYYYY!" when I said my job would be ending. Thanks for the support, dude! ;) I liked my old job too and hope that I could come back, but it's still a bummer, you know?

Nice to see you again! I'm glad the trip went well!

That's a bummer about the job, but you must be very employable! Jeez, to be able to head back over to your old job, that's a good thing. I do know what you're saying about missing your current coworkers; if I were to switch jobs, which is increasingly becoming a consideration, I know I'd miss most of my coworkers. Not all of them, :) but most of them. It's like a little family.

I too did an inquisition order earlier this week. I hadn't planned to, but I sold some things and accordingly turned the sales proceeds over to the Trading Post and Lab. I let them pick, as I did last year for the naughty or nice inquisition, but I do give them something to work with. I'll be very entertained to see what I get!

I haven't *actually* checked openings at my old job, but I'm hoping if I call a couple of the attorneys I worked for, they'll want me back :) I have nothing against my old job, they treated the peons (i.e. the non-attorneys) really great and I would be happy to return.

I never participated in an Inquisition, so this is exciting! It seems very popular, and can't wait to see what I get.

Glad you had a fun trip! And good luck on getting the job situation settled out smoothly ...

I haven't ordered an Inquisition yet, but probably will any day now. Those tricks both sound great ... I really need to get around to posting a sale page to make some space, & funds!
