Do you have a personal 'Good Luck' charm? Maybe you have a goddess figure to remind you of your Inner Goddess, or maybe you have a beautiful Cross to represent your faith...Or maybe you wear a Hand of Fatimah for protection....That kind of thing. I actually don't have one, but I would like to. I used to have this really amazing natural amethyst crystal that had been pierced on the end for a chain. I kept it in my car, but it's been gone for ages. So yeah, it would be nice.

 

If you were to attend Hogwarts, into which House would you be sorted? Odd as it might sound, I would WANT to be in Slythern. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm devious enough. And I'm certainly not gung-ho enough for Gryff. *lol* Therefore, probably Ravenclaw. I always did have a pretty high GPA.

 

Would you be interested in some knitted wire jewelry, like this? Oh hella yes! My wire skils absoluely suck for anything more than simple connector loops.

 

This is kind of a getting-to-know-you-type-thingie, but I always find it illuminating--what's on your computer desktop? Images? Color scheme? Well, I change it about every other day. Just checked and, and here at work I have 131 wallpapers that I did myself. *grins* The one presently is something I saw on Icanhazcheezburger.com and modified with my own typeface and colors. It's a black bg, with a huge, gorgeous leopard. He has snow on his face and a very serious gaze straight into the camera. The caption is: Snowball Fight Rule #1: Never hit anything that can run faster than you!"

What do you collect...besides BPAL? Um, unfinished boxes to decorate, specialty papers, especially Japanese ones, and handmade with bits 'o' stuff in them, and I have more beads than I can possibly ever use in one lifetime. Aaaaand, I think that's about it.

 

Do you want to try the Will Call only Champagne scents? Champagne and Roses, maybe. If they'd had a Champagine base and an offer to pick your own flavoring, Champagine and Apple, Pears or Peaches, ofr the win. *dies* Ayway, Rose Absolute goes totally insane on me, but I love florals. Not sure about the others, though maybe Champagne and Chocolate...

 

Do you play on-line games? I play time-waster online games at yahoo.com (Like Bejeweled. Silly) when I'm stuck on hold on the phone. (Which seems to be half my day.) But it's the no-download, easy to play, easy to hide, sinmle kind. I kinda suck at games.

 

Do you have traditional holiday movies you like to watch? I love ever single classic except "It's a Wonderful LIfe." and most of the new ones. Tim Allen is a hoot.

 

What are your "guilty pleasures" type movies? That you really secretly like but don't like to admit to it? OMG, dare I admit this? I"ll lose any hint of credibility I might ever have obtained here. I love cheesy sci-fi, whic isn't really the secret. The truth is that I will watch any movie with Vin Diesel in it, no matter how bad the writing, the acting, the direction, the whoe story line with plot holes you could drive a mack truck through..... you get the ida. In fact, I want Riccick/Jack Harkness fanfic. Yeah baby. *Lol* Who got carried awy? Not me!

Anyone a fan of Goddess art? I do like it, but I really don't think I'll be decorating with it. I absolutely want a white stone or plaster Buddah head though, for a tablescape I want to copy. I'll post a picutre of it somewhere... eventually.

 

Anyone else a Luis Royo fan? Yes, for years and years. But again, not in the home I'm trying to create now.

 

What are your favorite websites (i.e., the ones you visit every day, or almost every day)? I'm a little website dry these days. I come here, to the forum, check my LJ, order beads if I need to and then get back to work. My computer at home kinda sucks, and my log-on time at work is limited.

 

How do you feel about Lush? Anything you want to try? I was completely underwhelmed by Lush. In fact, Lush is the reason it took me nearly two years of hearing about how wonderful BPAL was from an LJ friend before I finally gave in and tried it. Should have tried BPAL first.

 

How do you feel about home made lip balm, salt or sugar scrubs, soap, bath salts, etc? That would actually ROCK. I so want to try salt or sugar scrubs, because I haven't used them. Anything for the shower would be good.

 

if you were to receive a hand-knitted item, what color(s) would you prefer AND are there any types of yarn that you just cannot handle (e.g. wool, llama, etc.) I'm good on pretty much all yarns, unless it's really OBVIOUSLY scratchy. Even then, if it's a hat, that's cool. I have some homespun yarn favorite colors on my Etsy favorites. To wear I usually like cool colors, blues, greens, purples, etc.

 

What is one REALLY expensive, completely outrageous thing you would LOVE to get but totally don't expect to ever get from anyone? I still haven't replaced my lost earrings, and need a new pair of diamond studs. I think I've picked out some on Overstock for about $275, but haven't bought them yet. They're just 1/2 kt total weight, which is all I need. The old ones were 1/4 kt tw, (tiny) and if I have to, I think I saw one of the big box retailers advertising that size really cheap. Like, under $100. I wanted to stop up, but we'll see.

 

Do you like coffee mugs? Travel or stay at home? How big? Do you like ones from Starbucks? I like mugs but I eat ice cream and soup out of them. So yeah, big enough for eating. I love those big fat mugs for soup and the tall ones they use for iced coffee for ice cream. Yum. Hungry now.

 

If you drink coffee, do you like whole bean coffee or prefer ground? What grind? What roast (mild, medium, bold, extra bold)? Do you like flavored coffee? No coffee for me. The closest thing I get to coffee is Baskin Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge. (Yet another reason my mother wondered if I was adopted, even though she pushed me out. )

 

Do you like tea? What kinds of tea (green, red, white, black, decaf, herbal infusions)? Feel free to get specific on brands and tea types. Loose or bagged? Do you need any kind of tea accessories? Pots/cozys/presses/strainers? Honey, I'm from the south. I drink my tea on ice, with a ton of sugar and lemon. In fact, I like a little tea with my lemonade.

 

What is your favorite hot chocolate or drinking chocolate? Do you need Vegan or no? *gasp* Blasphemy! Choclate is for chewing, not for drinking!

 

Do you need any decanting supplies? Pipettes? Vials? How about any wand caps? Roller bottles? Some spray bottles (for oils mixed with alcohol?) No, I don't decant. Although I'm considering asking the mods if I can do bath oils since I ordered a couple. But I have access to stuff from our compounding pharmacy. I wonder what size I'd need, and if it should be pour or squeeze?

 

I wanted to ask a question: are there any rare (or even uber-rare) scents that you'd really like to try? You know, I've been so into checking out the BPALthat's available, I've not even had time to look at what's not. I can tell you that I love apples and pears, soft florals, golden musk and amber. If I've missed something with some of those notes, I'd love to give it a shot. I'd also kinda like to have some Sagittarius, since I am one. Also, since I got swap-lifted for my Willows, I really want "Nowhere in Particular, All That They Had Seem and All That They Had Lost, The Goaler's Daughter and Mole. I want bottles, but want to smell before the deadline. *sighs*

 

Does your forum name have a special significance? Refer to something or someone you admire? Reflect your interests? Come on, spill! Well.. it's a combo of things, really. There's a character in Stephen R. Donaldson's "Thomas Covenant" series called Cable Seadreamer, and I originally chose it as an online name because one of my best friends was another character from the same series, Pitchwife. But it's come to mean more of what it says, because I do absolutely adore the sea and everything about it. My dream life would be in a very simple sea-side cabana. I also named by jewelry biz that, and hope to eventually register the name Seadreamer Galleries. We'll see.
