I don't read much fantasy, really. I did think of a book I wanted to read and haven't though - The Last Unicorn.

How do you feek about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not?

Whatever my witch finds amusing or cute, I am happy with! I find cute, silly junk at the $1 store all the time, and although I bring far too much of it home, I like things that make me laugh!!

OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns?

I like socks. All kinds. I wear either plain black or fun crazy patterned ones all winter, to work. I like anything "fancy". I like over the knee socks this year, but since I have fat calves to go with fat everything else, they are hard to find. I would like to find fun ones long enough to poke out of my boots.

 

How do people feel about word magnets?

I think they are really neat, but my fridge is plastered with photos and lists and.. and.. I would like just magnets, though. I am always losing them. Think Geek has the super strong ones that look like push pins. I like those.

I feel very fondly of these things. I like samples - how else can I develop new addictions!

Um, I kind of want it all. So I did a sort of small order of the ones that leaped into my basket, and will be picking up more at NYCC, I'm sure. I talked myself out of Ginger Skulls, and now I want it.

Chocolate or other types of candy?

Candy is good. Mostly chocolate or with nuts or real fruit, I don't care for skittles and things like that. Or black liquorice, not so much. I just discovered Ritter Sport milk chocolate with yogurt filling, and it is gooooddd. I like all kinds of chocolate, pretty much. And caramels.

 

For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags?

Tea bags, just because I carry a couple in my purse, to have at work.

 

If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing?

Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls?

I am happy for anything my witch makes or has made for me. The love that goes into hand made articles is the best part - and I do love shawls, big swingy ones that I can wrap up in! (See Shawl o'doom in the SW thread - GORGEOUS!! I will make that one day.)

 

Is there a TV, movie or literary character that you are a lot alike, or would like to be alike?

I like gadgety things, but don't NEED anything. But with things like that, how do I know I need it until I see it?

I do love all animals. I have a soft spot for little muttsie dogs, and anything fluffy. Also horses.

I think I would say peonies are my current favorite. They are just so lush and overblown and enthusiastic looking. I also love daffodils and hyacinths.

What is a bpal scent that you've been dying to try for awhile but just can't find? (A scent where even a tester would do) There are lots that I would like to try because I haven't been into BPAL for very long, but, in the case of the impossible to find/test/try, what if I love it? What if it is my HG and I can never every get my hands on it again and everything else is second best? That would be sadder than never knowing for certain how awesome it is. (Although I am EXTREMELY grateful for the rares I have tried, and if they are just testers, I keep them to sniff every now and then. I love you, Storyville.)

I would like an mp3 of Florence+the Machine's "Fallen" - it isn't available in the US yet. I like amusing videos a lot, as well as discovering musicians I am not familiar with, makeup/hair how to videos (I mean all of the videos just email me youtube links). Funny animals are funny. Makeup/hair how tos help with work. (hair - updos, special occasion, something unique instead of just styling)

I wear a mixture, Clinique foundation, different eyeliners, currently sephora kohl, mostly sephora shadow with some urban decay thrown in.... either Korres tinted lip balm, clinique almost lipstick or a kick ass chanel lipstick that was a bday gift from quimerula. Loreal telescopic mascara, in carbon black, always.

Things I would like to try?

The Urban Decay Naked Palette (eyes, and sold out every freakin where), Bobbi Brown eye ink, there are some colors from the MAC venomous villains.... Also the Anastasia brow palette I saw at Sephora, but holy moly it is expensive.

I like little notebooks. I make and keep LOTS of lists, and have found that a notebook that fits in my purse keeps me slightly more organized. Emphasis on slightly. It is harder to lose a piece of paper when it is attached to lots of its fellows, and when I am done, I can rip it out and throw it away. Big enough to write a nice big list in, small enough to fit in the tote bag/black hole I lug around with me. At least 3x5, or a little larger.

What is something you use to comfort yourself when feeling yucky, depressed, or in pain? TKO works pretty well. I am lucky that I don't have chronic health issues, so usually it is just "yucky" and fixed by TKO, a couple of advil, or a glass of wine!

 

Favorite Halloween/Scary movies/books I like Tim Burton's movies. Not much for scary "horror" books or movies, I like psychological scary.

When you go to an etsy wishlist, it will tell you what things are sold. If you click on the sold item, sometimes it will give options that are similar to what was sold, but not identical, would you like the similar item or prefer not to get it at all unless it's the same item? How picky are you? I think similar would be lovely. Sometimes I put things on my wishlist knowing that they wil be gone quickly, but it marks what I liked in that store so that I can find similar things.

 

Do you wear make up? Yes! And I am always up to try new manufacturers.

 

Disney movies, Yay or Nay, and favourites if you do like them? Yay! Mostly the old ones though. Sleeping Beauty is a favorite that I don't own. I don't know why I don't own this, though!

 

Do you have A VCR, DVD Player or Blue Ray or a combo of the three? DVD - I watch movies on my laptop almost exclusively.

I like both, cutely creepy! I would love and adore handmade ceramic decorations. Of any type. An Oil Warmer would be awesome, or a candydish/bowl type thing. Or a ceramic jack o lantern, that I could put a candle inside.

would you like to receive Groupons or similar deals/gift certificates from your Witch? Groupons are a great idea, and I do subscribe to their daily deal, but most of the offers are too far away from me (usually in DC/immediate surrounding area) to be practical.

 

How about tshirt/bottoms sizes? XL in tops, usually a L in bottoms.
