Garlic? Yeah, I love the stuff. Had garlic wine (like a light white with a garlic finish) and chocolate-covered garlic (wonderful contrast!) at Gilroy ... on my honeymoon almost 22 years ago!

As long as there's enough for both of us, so that Hubs isn't horrified by my stenchy proximity (it's never bothered me in him, oddly), I say bring it, bring it on.

Zombies? Not a huge fan.

Do you have a deviantart print wishlist or favourites list?

I do not. I think I have a DA account, but I don’t really spend any time there.

Is there anything from Blooddrop that you want to try? GC? Halloween update? I haven’tried Blooddrop.

What kind of shoes do you need/want? What size shoes do you wear? Would you mind gently used shoes? Nine, nine and a half, ten (Women’s US sizes) - depends on the shoe/style. I think that’s a UK 40 and a men’s 8.

I’m not really looking for anything in particular now. Just got a couple pair of dressy flats, because I just cannot wear heels.

Do you like paper dolls (new or vintage) or coloring in books? Sure! Especially coloring or other activity books.

Do you like weird scary things as traditionally girly fashion items like heels and handbags?

Absolutely, and probably better than the girly counterpart!

NYCC Atmosphere sprays?

The British Blondes sounds lovely.

Handpainted item? Lately I have been wanting to get bowls to have around for all the little stuff that otherwise accumulates. It just classes things right up. So I would choose a handpainted bowl, with a naturey design, perhaps some little birds.

Do you collect stones/rocks? I'm talking like "semi" precious stones, ie moonstone, bloodstone, quartz ect.

Indeed! Especially smaller ones that can go in my huacas bag. I'm not in need of anything in particular; the stone will tell you if it's looking for me!

What's your favorite Halloween Music?

I like spooky, novelty ... anything really.

I have an iPod Halloween playlist; iPod still in the car so I will have to come back and edit with how many songs are on it, and I'll post a list to my blog for everyone's edification.

It's made up of songs that are either specific to the holiday (Halloween Spooks by Lambert, Hendricks and Ross) or fit the mood (Murder in the Graveyard by Screaming Lord Sutch).

I wouldn't mind having new tracks for it!

Who likes hair toys, and if so what kind?

Love, love, love them all: scrunchies, clips, pins, decorative accents.

Does any art we may send need to be child safe, either in the actually safe sense or the non X rated sense? Nope, dangerous and dirty is fine!

In the knitted/crocheted things area, would you want wrist warmers, 1/2 gloves, a neck warmer(the kind that pretty much just goes around your neck and maybe fastens instead of being long and loose like a scarf), slippers, or hats? Yes. ;)

How do you feel about altered/recycled/upcycled items of clothing or accessories? Love them. A lot.

Conjure Oils? I have never tried them! Should I? I'll bet my Witch could pick something, based on my favorite notes.

What is your favourite habitat and climate to live in? How about to visit? (ie. forest, canyons, mountains, by the beach; temperate, tropical...) If it were up to me, I'd like it 40-60F most of the time, with frequent precipiation. Love mountain forests - I think the most achingly beautiful place I have visited is Big Sur, California.

But for travel I'm a lot less picky about climate, because of the fun of experiencing a new/different place.

How do people feel about edible arrangements? www.ediblearrangements.com I've never had one, but could be interested. Seems like there's a lot of melon, though, which I won't eat.

Anyone need address/phone type books? Don't need one - I've got a BPAL-folks one going and there's room in it yet!

Do you read/like fantasy? What kind of books or authors do you love? Which one would you like to read? Would you like gifts related to it? I do enjoy fantasy. There are some ideas at my Amazon wishlist. I like Urban Fantasy (I've been reading Ilona Andrews) and Companion Animal Fantasy (most recently, Jane Lindskold), also tales of good dragons.

And I've got lots more Obernewtyn Chronicles to go, if that counts as fantasy.

Soaps has been pretty well answered, I think; contact me, Witchee, if you need more info in that area!

Likewise pens/office supply.

Not a yarnie.

Lipbalms: flavor preferences? tube/squeazything type or lip pots? Love 'em. Probably like sticks best, then squeezy, then pots. Any flavor, except for flavors I've already mentioned not liking!

Does anyone do altered books? Would you be interested in old books to alter? Any type or title in particular? I like the idea of altered books but haven’t really gotten into it. I’m kind of squeamish about messing with books so, even though I like the concept, I’m not sure how well I’d deal in reality.

Did someone ask about incense yet? Would you like some? Something to store or burn it in? What scents? What form?I’ve got a charcoal burner and some very nice resins, along with a few sticks here and there, but I really don’t burn very often.

Any oddball free things you collect or would want saved for you?

I wish I could think of something!

Arcana Halloween update? Haven’t looked.

How many bottles of BPAL do you have? 150-200, somewhere in there. I think.

Is there any exercise program that you're interesting in learning? Meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Belly Dancing, Zumba ect? Or if you do any of these (or anything else sport related) are there any things you need/want? Candles, music, mats, water bottles ect? Not looking at anything new in terms of exercise. I could use a pair of cycling gloves (palm 3.5 inches, so probably a medium?)

Anyone else into Emily Autumn? Sounds familiar, but I don’t remember her music, and haven’t got anything in my iTunes. I’m willing to give anything a fair listen!

Do you like Girl Scout cookies? What kind? My favorite are the shortbread because you can dress them up or down, and the regular peanut butter sandwich ones, whatever they’re called.

What's your take on homemade apple butter? Want some? Yum!

As of 16 September

Inquisition? Not tempted.

Scarf: a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist?

I love them all but I don’t have any skinny or long. To your tase, my Witch.

Rectangular shawl or triangular shawl? Shawl good too!

How do you feel about recipes? What kind of a cook/baker are you? Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine? Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? If I send you something home made would you like the reciepe for it? If you are someone who doesn't want baked goods sent, would you like a collection of some of my favorite recipes? How about home made mixes or kits? Kind of like the cookie in a jar thing, where you would need to add the perishable ingredients?

I don’t particularly enjoy cooking, but I do love to eat, and so have been making myself cook more often lately. Asian foods are my favorite, so I’ve been exploring things in that area. I’ve got most of the basic equipment, and I’m learning about ingredients and how to put things together without a million ingredients, a million hours of work, and dirtying a million dishes! If there’s a book or a set of recipes that you think I should have, please do send them along! I have already pre-ordered the Just Bento book. I’m not too squeamish about substituting things, either, so don’t worry too much about the meat/onions issues for me. I mean, you can acknowledge that you didn’t just forget about them ;), but I don’t feel strange working around them in a recipe! I do that a lot, actually.

I’m not much for sweets, so I’m not so interested in baking. I have a bread maker, but can’t eat all that carbo the way I used to; still, I use it on occasion.

Mixes or kits are great.

Science Tarot I have been following this for a while, but haven’t ordered it and probably won’t for a while, since I’m still focused on making my own deck. But I do want it, and it would make a great gift for me, if you’d like to send it.

Are there any particular movies, tv shows or cd’s that you’ve been meaning to buy for years but just never got round to getting? Would you mind a gently used dvd/cd if your witch had it or could get it??

See my Amazon wishlist (linked in my SW Help post, if the questionnaire link isn’t working) for such items, and yes, used is absolutely fine.

Possets Update

I have a few Possets items, but I haven’t become a huge fan. I love, love, love the concept of the cat rescue scents, but they are mostly not my style.

Okay – just took a gander. Dark, Ghost, and Spirit sound lovely.

Would you like a custom/altered toy either from a seller or from your witch (like My Little Pony,

or a Barbie or any particular toy that can be changed?)

Customized toys are great. Hubs and I have always been fascinated by the long-standing tradition of customizing Action Figures, really impressed by the time and effort and skill put into them! I could go for just about anything!

Steampunk eyeball jewelry.

Heh. I find I like them.

As of 15 September

Is there a TV, movie or literary character that you are a lot alike, or would like to be alike? Fun question, but no one comes to mind.

Is there anything you need for your kitchen?

I want to really think over this question, as I’m doing more cooking lately. There’s nothing in my mind like, “Oh! I keep finding I need … “, but I’m sure there’s a few things that I’m not thinking of.

I know I wanted to get some parchment paper, but that’s not very interesting.

Music, DO you prefer Live or Studio? Edited or explicit? I enjoy both live and studio recordings, and prefer explicit

If you are an animal lover, is there a specific type/breed that you love most? I can’t narrow it down! Love them all.

If you like flowers/plants, do you have a favorite(s)? I love them all, sweet little living things! Because I am always an advocate for the underloved, I have a particular fondness for weeds; got to admire their survival skills, too!

Do you have a favorite quotation? Song lyric? Book passage? Proverb?

“When you reach the shore of understanding, you have to let go of the raft that got you there.” Paraphrased from Thich Nhat Hanh.

What is a bpal scent that you've been dying to try for awhile but just can't find? (A scent where even a tester would do) Of the really hard to find, Carnivàle and Cerberus.

Is there anything you would like that can be delivered over the internet? Things like fanfic recs, cat macros, mp3s you are looking for, how-to or amusing videos, things like that. This is a great idea, as it saves my Witch on time and postage! Honestly, I’m open to almost anything, too: I’m a fan of lols and similar funny-caption stuff; interesting or cute animal videos; maybe not so much fanfic (I’m picky) but ebooks would be great; shopping fun, like the Etsy treasury links Lioness mentioned getting … I’m not helping narrow it down, am I. :D

What would your last meal be if it could be anything in the world (sky is the limit, drinks too, the whole shebang) Tofu red curry, choo-chee goong, steamed rice, and I think I’ll switch cuisines for dessert and have hot red bean and mochi. To drink, Bushmills of course.

I don’t know how I’ll have room for all that, even with it being my last meal!!

Sticky notes Love, love, love them! All the different sizes and colors and shapes and designs!

NaNoWriMo? Started twice, but didn’t finish  Next year, though, when my time is more flexible, and I’m planning to focus on writing more anyway (with an eye to perhaps earning an extra dollar or two), I’m going to give it a go again.

How do you feel about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? Love ‘em. Dollar store stuff or those things in vending machines at the pizza parlor.

Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? Not one specific book.

Do you read mangas/watch animes? I don’t.

Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? Most definitely! I like to think (and have been told) that I’m pretty easy to shop for, and I do love surprises so, please, let yourself loose, if you like!

If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Absolutely. That would be great.

Sock preferences: Length? Materials? Patterns? As stated earlier, unless they’re roomy in the calves, ankle length or shorter. Any material or pattern is great.

Word magnets? Fun. The little picture set magnets are fun, too.

As of 13 September

Do you like journals/notebooks/sketchbooks?

and

How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff?

Love, love, love all kinds of office supply type stuff. Cutesy - like fun or goofy animal designs! - or classic, it's all good.

Anything wanted from latest BPAL update?

The one I really want is The Infernal Lover. A couple other of the Gothic Fictions (Odd, Portents, The Shadowy and the Sublime, and Encroaching Madness) and Flor de Muerto sounds lovely, too. I love the concept behind the Mnemosynes, but in terms of notes they are all maybes.

Homemade preserves (e.g. marinated vegies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) . Yum! Yes! No onions (as my Witch will realize from my questionnaire) but pickled or marinated anything else, or preserves of any kind. I love unusual flavors a lot.

Partial BPAL bottles? You betcha! I love partials maybe even more than full bottles!

Would you like something you have to make yourself? For example, a kit to knit your own soft toy, or a card making kit, or baking kit, etc. And is there anything in particular you'd like to learn? Sounds fun - probably nothing too challenging, though, as I can tend to the lazy.

Who is your favorite soap etailer? I go more for the scrubs than soaps, and really love Villainess. I like Tarty's soaps (Paintbox) but haven't tried her scrubs; and our own Galahad makes some nice soaps as well - though the shop name escapes me  I'm sure it's in his sigline.

What kind of make-up do you wear? What colors? Is there anything you'd like to try but haven't yet? I like glitters and frosts, in browns and purples and greens. I've got a cosmetics wishlist in my SW Help post.

What about vintage decoration items, teacups, etc etc? As so many of us are, I'm trying to cut down on clutter, but I do love vintage items, so ... if you find the perfect thing, my Witch, then by all means send it!

Say you were my witchee, and I found things on your wishlist that I could totally make. Would you want me to make it? Or would you rather it be purchased for you?

That would be my Witch's preference. Of course handmade sounds wonderful, but I wouldn't want my Witch to feel any undue pressure.

With regards to your gifts, would you prefer your presents' awesomeness evenly spread out (several packages of pretty terrific things) over the round or a slow build-up of awesomeness (going up from pretty cool things to something super-duper cool at the end) to go out with a bang? Do you have a preference?

Again, Witch's preference.

Do you crave many Ecards and contact or are you okay with little contact from your Witch? I am fine with moderate to little contact. Honestly, with a very chatty Witch, I feel guilty if I can't write back for a day or two - not that I don't appreciate the Love!

Do you have a place where you list all the BPAL you have or have tried?

There's a list in my blog, and I updated it today!

Who would be on your top 5 famous people to get it on with?

I have to narrow it down to five? Okay, then. Um. Ben Kingsley, Jason Statham, Adam Turla, Jim Broadbent and … a wild card!

Maple sugar candy? I do like it. I prefer the kind that isn't little people or animals. I'm just squeamish about that kind of thing (this goes for all foodstuffs).

Chocolate & Bacon?

If you can find - or make! - some with vegetarian bacon, as I don't eat the real stuff, I'm game to try, as I love salty and sweet.

Go to your spice cabinet, what are the three most used spices?

Cumin! Black or White Pepper. And, hm, probably dill.

Basil, Garlic, and Sage I always use fresh.

Microsoft or Apple? Computer: Microsoft, Portable Music: Apple

Where was your last vacation? What did you like most? It's been a while since we've had time to really get away for a vacation, but we've done a few two-day trips to Vegas, and we often spend a night or two at a hotel locally, for romantic purposes.

In general, we love to see history and nature.

Would you appreciate receiving handwritten letters and/or postcards (anonymous or not)? How about sending them? It's not a neccesity: I'm not one to lament the passing of the handwritten letter, but I wouldn't throw such a thing aside in disgust, either! And postcards are fun because of the images.

Are you allergic to any food things??

As described in my questionnaire, onion. Fresh, cooked. I tend to avoid leeks and chives and green onions as a just in case, but thank goodness garlic is all right! Also, big pieces of onion that I can pick out and onion powder are all right.

Do you hate any food things with a passion?? My Mother told me never to say I "hate" a food, but I "don't like" cucumbers and melon, and I don't like the texture of coconut, but I love the flavor, as in coconut milk :yum: .

Would you be opposed to receiving a digital version (via email) of a magazine you like but don't subscribe to...you know, in the interest of saving a tree? No, not at all. One of the reasons I got this new smaller computer (wif long battery life) is so I can curl up on the couch and read on it.

Would you like a tea cozy?

I don't use a teapot. I'm a heathen who makes tea in a coffeepot.

I wonder, though, if someone got me a pretty pot and a cozy, I might use them?

If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls?

I don't think more than 10 scarves is in any way excessive! But a shawl would be great, too, and I don't even have one of those. Oh, and I really like the neck cuffs - my very first Witch ever made me one.

Tea: loose or bagged? Either is good.

As of 12 Sept

Decorate for Holidays? I keep meaning to decorate for Halloween, because there's so much cool stuff, but apart from doing my bathroom two years ago, I haven't made it a habit. If I got decorative items from my Witch, I would definitely display them! As for elegant, crafty/folksy, or campy, I'm afraid I like them all. Love skeletons and mummies. And bats, especially cuddly bats.

Favorite Halloween Candy

Of things that are around only at Halloween, Orange KitKats and Reese's Pumpkins.

Any person, being, or animal from Fantasy

Ooh! Um. Requires more thought.

Going back in Time

Always a tough choice. Can I just travel around? If I had to pick, it would have to be Pharaonic Egypt or Victorian England or Tudor England ... or ...

What's Your Daemon When I took the test, I got Jaguar, which was pretty cool - but really, as obvious as it is, with all my Canine qualities, it would be a wolf or dog or wolf-dog. Probably wolf-dog.

Cake truffle Not for me, thanks!

I haven't been able to find the PB&J M&Ms here and would love to try them. I'm pretty hooked on the PB&J bar from Trader Joe's.

I have a lot of bandanas but I love them. If you find any in interesting colors or styles, that could be a good gift for me, even a means of wrapping something!

Zuni animal fetish

I'd love one! Anything from my totems post in my blog, or Spider or Hawk or Phoebe (I doubt there's a Phoebe one). Or the one that calls out to tell you that it is for me.

I also really like Inuit-style fetishes [i don't think these are properly called "fetishes", though ... small carvings, maybe?].

Gift card to where? Any of the places on my favorite shops/sites in my questionnaire, and of course Target is always good, iTunes, or any books store.

Cake or Frosting? I don't like either, but I'm willing to eat cake and would never, ever, ever eat frosting.

Glow-in-the-dark Radishes are awesome! But I can't wear earrings.

Candle scents I will have to wait until I am home to check the brand of candles that I particularly like Trapp candles. I'm not too picky about candle scents as long as they are not too strong. Love sugar scents and herbals. And fig!!!

Steampunk, yay or nay? If yay, what part appeals most? I enjoy the style, and I love Cherie Priest's books &c. (The Clockwork Century) and I was just thinking about reading Journey to the Center of the Earth (the recent movie was on; it was one of my Dad's favorite books but I have never read it). I definitely wouldn't mind some steampunky jewelry or garment.

Favorite word? All of them. No, really. I love language and can find something to appreciate in almost every word.

Dried Honeycrisp apples? I'd love 'em and dried fruit in general, too, except, of course, for melon.

If you were to receive a knitted item (such as a scarf, hat, etc), what colors would you like? And do you have any sensitivies/allergies to any materials? Any/all of the colors mentioned in my questionnaire as favorites (blues, purples, greens, greys, browns, especially dusky) would work, and I have no sensitivities.

Gift Certificate: physical or email? Either; whatever works for you, my witch. If you like the idea of tucking it into a package, or surprising me with mail, then great; if you want the immediacy of email, then that's great too. I admit I've used the latter in the past when I feel I have been neglecting my Witchee and want to get something there now!!

What movie scared the bejeezus out of you as a child?

I can't think of anything from when I was a "child", but The Yik Yik in Tales of Terror, which I saw at 18 or 19, was for years my standard of the most terrifying thing ever. It was hard to get on DVD for a long time, but I finally got it again a few years ago and ... not scary at all. "Creepy", maybe, but not the most terrifying thing ever, nope.

Name a couple of sites you frequent other than this one.

There's an email chatter list where I hang out as much as I do here. I've been FBing a lot more lately (link in my sig!) and I've got a ton of stuff on my Google Reader. Current favorites are: Topless Robot, Sleep Talkin Man, Blame It On The Voices, and I love LOLs, mostly LOLcats and LOLdogs, but I also like Happy Chair is Happy and a few of the other sister sites.

Box? I don't need but I love boxes - Hubs does, too - so any box will find a happy home here.

Birth chart

I've got a good one.

If you could have any creature (real or imaginary) as a pet, what would it be?

One of everything! But to choose ... hmmm ... dragon!

Do you like the Muppets? Which is your favorite?

Love Muppets. Gonzo is perhaps my favorite, but I love them all.

Currently learning I'm always looking into something. This year it's been to educate myself more about the ins and outs of astrology so that I can better interpret transit effects on my own and Hubs's charts.

I don't have any specific plans to be out of town, but will certainly post here if such plans are made!

Mini bottles(under 100ml for hand luggage) of bath and body products[/b] Definitey! Especially little lotions for a purse, since I must have access to lotion at all times. But anything mini is great. I love them.

Vampire shows, literature, etc. Like ‘em but honestly (even though I’m trying to sell a vampire-themed work right now), I feel that they’ve become over-exposed. I’d prefer some werewolf stuff!

Would you prefer clothing or costume pieces Sure! Nothing particular comes to mind, though. If you find something that seems to suit my interests, go for it!

Console video games We have an X-Box 360. I’m looking forward to the new Arkham Asylum – Gotham City, I think it’s called? – and the new Spiderman. There’s one based on Dante’s Inferno that looks good. We have quite a few of the music games (Rock Band and Guitar Hero) but would like the ones we don’t have, and I’d like to try some of the singing ones since that’s mostly what I prefer to do. Let me compile a list of what we have:

Guitar Hero I, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero V, Rock Band, Beatles Rock Band.

These games are expensive, so I don’t expect to get any! But if you find a good deal – and of course used is fine – I won’t complain.

Flowers and plants: seeds, art, pressed Lovely, especially artwork or pressed – I don’t have optimal conditions to grow much here.

Marzipan Yum!

3 BPAL bottles fall (gently) out of the sky The Infernal Lover; Horse Chestnut Honey; and a surprise bottle

International treats that you love and have a hard time finding I’ve been trying to find the Red Bean KitKat’s for a while, but they’re not made any more so (being candy) not available. I would love to try any Red Bean candy.

Are there any soundtracks that you'd like?

Tough question. I love soundtracks. The ones from my youth that I think about replacing digitally every once in a while are Kismet (stage version) and Camelot (movie version). I’m sure I could think of others given more time. :D

'Ween BPTP update that you would like but haven't ordered for yourself?

Nope, no must-haves there.

Crafty supplies: beads, fabric, yarn/roving etc? Sure! I love beads and have a huge collection but can’t resist more. Fabric would find a home, too; I especially love calicos. Yarn is pretty, but I don’t knit or crochet. I do knotting, though, so some nice cord might be fun!

Find your iPod (or other MP3 device), put it on shuffle/random. What are the first five songs to come up?

How I love music memes.

1. Don’t Go Away (live) – Noel Gallagher

2. Come By The Hills – Loreena McKennitt

3. Goin’ Southbound – Stan Ridgeway

4. Porno Disaster – The Octopus Project

5. Postcard Day – Ian Anderson

Totally not reflecting the huge variety I’ve got on my iPod. Oh, well!

I do have a LastFM account (link in my sig) but haven’t scrobbled in a while because my iPod is full and I want to get a new bigger one instead of deleting stuff, so I haven’t synched in a few months. I keep putting off getting the new one because other expenses keep coming up  I guess I could create a second library; hey, that’s a pretty good idea, and easy, too!

If you could see one concert right now, who would it be?

Love Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven, but just saw them three days ago, so I’ll go with Murder By Death who haven’t blown through town in a while. Would love to see Sea Wolf but keep missing them for one reason or another. Or any other band that I like or might like. We really enjoy live music.

If you witch made you something and it didn't come out just right, would you still want it? Absolutely.

Added 08Sept

Warm drinks I drink lots of tea (and actually, I have a bit "too much" tea at the moment, so it wouldn't be the best gift right now, unless you've something really special that I've gotta try, in which case, bring it!). I have a hot chocolate rarely, and don't really like cider much.

Symbol or totem Please see my Animal Totems blog post for some discussion of that!

Socks? Love them, love Sock Dreams. Because my calves are fairly large, I stick to ankle or lower, or slouchies.

What is something you use to comfort yourself when feeling yucky, depressed, or in pain? I am a huge fan of the aspirin patches when my tendinitis is bugging me. For emotional comfort, curling up with a blankie and some mindless tv or a good book. If I'm genuinely depressed, I don't want food - but if I'm just in need of a little coziness, then a favorite food goes a long way.

Favorite Halloween/Scary movies/books Movies: Classic Universal Horror, especially The Wolf Man and Bride of Frankenstein; oddly, Dracula falls short for me, though the one with the Philip Glass  score improves it quite a bit. I also like Hammer horror, and the Vincent Price Poe movies, the original House on Haunted Hill. Books, I haven't read many "scary" books.

What would the name of your custom blend be? The description?

As I said in my questionnaire, I really can't even imagine!

COMIC BOOKS. Big fan. I have a few subscriptions through Things From Another World, which change around a bit. I am up for trying just about anything!

Etsy wishlist "Sold" items I'm another who keeps mine on there for reference as 'stuff I like'. Please do feel free to locate something similar!

Disney movies? Love Disney and Pixar and Dreamworks and Bluth and ... Favorites? So hard to pick.

Favorite Halloween Candy

Of things that are around only at Halloween, Orange KitKats and Reese's Pumpkins.

Any person, being, or animal from Fantasy

Ooh! Um. Requires more thought.

Going back in Time

Always a tough choice. Can I just travel around? If I had to pick, it would have to be Pharaonic Egypt or Victorian England ... or ...

As of 06Sept

Home Baked goods: I and my household are fine with them. Also, :yum:

Gifts for Hubs and the dogs are appreciated (by them and me!) but not necessarily “expected” – just part of the fun of SW and its surprises! For the record, though, when I get a big box both dogs gather up expectantly as I open it.

Small testers or larger amounts? Either works for me.

Groupons or similar deals/gift certificates Sure!

Seasonal bottoms – sure, what the heck! Probably an XL in order to be sure everything fits in. T-shirt size in q’naire, but it’s L.

Plans for Halloween: nope. We used to go every year to a great Haunted House that was set up by movie FX guys, but they retired and moved to Sonoma. If someone has a party, and invites us, we’ll go, but that usually doesn’t happen either. And we’re too old to throw our own party.

Mix CDs: Absolutely. I am always greedy for new music, and have pretty broad tastes. Kind of squeamish about piracy, but if there’s a loophole (such as “not yet available in the US”), and you’re all right with it … well, I’m not reporting anyone to the FCC.

Girly: don’t like pink, and I don’t wear makeup every day – but I like to girl up if we’re going out, and I always keep my toenails painted, and I love glitter and sexy tops.

Handmade soft things: bring it! Anything: scarf, armwarmers, socks, hat.

Austen: Haven’t read her. I’m not generally a fan of stories that are about romance, but I love the Wishbone episode where they did Sense and Sensibility. Maybe I just need to be enabled.

Tarot: I have a long familiarity with using cards for divination, just not traditional Tarot. I am planning to make my own deck and doing some research to that end. The blank on both sides cards that I ordered never arrived, so I’m sort of in the market for those.

I have Kindle. Amazon doesn’t make it very easy to purchase gift Kindle books – but I can put anything on there that’s emailed to me. See Amazon.com for appropriate file types! There’s so much free/lowcost stuff out there from new and old authors!

Harry Potter: I’m definitely Ravenclaw.

Guilty TV pleasure (actually, mentioned in my Q’naire!): Kardashians

Cosplay/other costume: We’ve just started going to the Renaissance Faire again; I’m pretty well set, but wouldn’t be annoyed if a fun surprise item showed up – just, I’ve no idea what that might be!

I also do exotic dance for Hubs, and not sure what to ask for there, either.

Scented tarts: I do like them, but use them only rarely.

Lip balms: Yes, love them.

Body mods: three tattoos, plan to get a few more in the next few weeks. No piercings: I’m tempted to get a bellybutton, but with my nickel allergy, and the fact that they already take a year to heal, I’m apprehensive. Love temp tattoos!!!!!

Favorite artist or art style: Dutch masters, including the early Dutch masters like Breugel and Bosch, Durer, pre-Raphaelites (especially the obscure ones). I tend to prefer etchings and drawings to paintings. Then I also like folk art. Almost anything, really, except for abstracts (like Pollack).

Booze: as stated in my questionnaire, my usual drink is Bushmills. Hubs drinks Vodka. I’m pretty much always up to try something interesting.

Favorite snack: I’m not a huge snacker. If I’m looking for something, it’ll be a snack mix (Gardettos, Chex, Quaker) or cheese and crackers. Not a huge chocolate or candy fan; if I’m having chocolate, I like there to be something in it.

Cute or creepy for Halloween decorations? Hmm, edge to creepy, but there are benefits to both!

Hand-made ceramics? Sounds great, but honestly I don’t decorate much, so it might not find the best home with me.

Mortar and pestle: I could actually use one. Now I use a condiment dish and the back of my knife sharpener to grind stuff.

Phobias: not really – nothing that would have me turn running, that isn’t something you’re unlikely to include in a package anyway (e.g. animal abuse)

DVD format: yeah, widescreen, please.

Wear makeup?: As mentioned above, not daily but for going out. I have developed a real passion for MAC lately. I’m super picky about mascara, but everything else I’m open to new stuff and being enabled!

I have a couple of DVD players, a VCR but it’s not hooked up, and I am opposed to BluRay. For now.

Custom icons: I have fun making them, but I sure wouldn’t object to something made for my by someone else!

And a note for my Future!Witch: I just bought a 16oz bag of Rooibos Tropics from Adagio, so I’m set on that for a while.
