Are you interested in trying Super Villainess (from Villainess - the birthday scent that was just released tonight!) and if so, which item do you like the most? (Soap, Whipped, Smooch, Extrait, Smack...)

I'm not the biggest leather fan - it's not really pleasant on my skin.

 

If I were to order you a Smack, which four notes would you like?

My one and only Smack was Peach, Coconut Milk, Chocolate, and Cherries (that was the layered order - I'm not sure it would have worked in any other way). I liked it but it was a bit too drying.

 

Would you enjoy receiving a knitted gift from your witch? If so what would you be interested in (scarf, hat, wrist / handwarmers, socks, etc.) and in what colors?

Even though we're heading out of winter, I could use a scarf or hat. I don't wear wrist or handwarmers.. but I could go for socks too!

Easter Candy - do you like it? If so, what types?

I'll eat most any Easter candy except for Peeps and "chocolate flavored" things.

 

What scent(s) are you petrified of getting DC'd?

The only scent that I'm worried about is Nocturne Alchemy's Eternal Aswan (and NA hasn't had to DC anything that I'm aware of). There are BPAL blends I'd be sad to not be able to get more of, but as most of my favorites are LE's I always assume they won't come back - its safer.

What is your favorite type of wine? Would you be interested in trying something new? In that case, is there anything you really DONT like? Ooooo how about dessert wines?

I like some reds and several whites. I don't care for champagne. Dessert wines can be tasty too.

More sleep (I was woken earlier than I wanted to be up by loopy cats), coffee, and waffles. Coffee and waffles are downstairs.

What is a scent that you've been trying to find even a sample of for a very long time to no avail? (What bottle would you die to get your hands on - even a partial?)

I have been either lucky or around a long enough time to try most everything rare that I've been interested in. Although this past year there were a ton of blends released that I was interested in but had no funds for.

 

Is there anything in your life that you'd like advice or a "selfhelp" book for?: (ie finances, eating healthier, meal planning)

In written form, I'm game for pretty much anything, in pictures (especially things that would be displayed somehow) tasteful sexiness is better, although I'm not adverse to porn.

I live near a Penzey's Spices and a Savory Spice Shop - I'll have to put the blends my husband always talks me out of on my kaboodle list (likely in the get cooking list) - spices from other shops are fine with me too!

 

Do you like any particular kinds of green or black teas or coffees that could also be gotten in bulk?

I love tea (and coffee, but I'm good on that from the coffee swap this past winter) but I lean a bit more towards flavored tea blends than standard teas so I don't know out easy they'd be to get in bulk.

Fly to Paris (and arrive in a few hours), see the Egyptian Wing at the Louvre, go shopping for all the home deco things I always look at in the French department stores but never have space in my luggage for, and eat fabulous food.

I love the aesthetic but I don't know that I'd ever wear anything steampunk.

Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies - who wins? Which do you love most?

If I had to pick.. Ninjas. Although sometimes maybe Pirates. Zombies are not my thing, and actually give me nightmares.

 

Do you like wearing things in your hair? If so, what kind (snap clips, scrunchie, headband, etc), how big & crazy (lowkey, bigger the better), and colors.

The only way to function is to use something to hold my long hair back somehow. I've been using headbands (which can be fancy - I currently wear this one a lot) and barrettes (which can be fairly fancy). I really need ways to get my hair off my neck in ways that are prettier than a ponytail, as its starting to get too warm to always wear my hair down.

 

My hair doesn't tend to play nice with bobby pins - the plain ones get rendered unusable after one wear and the pretty ones do helpful things like flip themselves over.

 

I do have a formal military event that I'm going to March 31st and I'll have to do something to my hair so it's formal looking, so I'll be looking for fancier hair things or things that will hold evil psycho hair together for hours.. or both, for that.

Chocolate. With stuff in it? Are you more a plain chocolate lover, a chocolate and normal items lover (normal items being nuts, fruit, caramel) or do you like weird stuff in your chocolate? (weird stuff being curry, chilis, balsamic vinegar, floraly things)

Not a super huge fan of dark chocolate (I like it in some forms) and I rather like white chocolate. I don't care for fruit in my chocolate and the only berry I really go for in chocolate are raspberries - but anything else would be fair game.

For those who like lipgloss, lipstick, tinted balms, etc, what colors do you wear (and warm? cool?) and do you prefer something sheer or more opaque? How do you feel about shimmer?

I answered this in the thread, but I wear a lot of glosses. I prefer reds and pinks and some purples, sheer to opaque, generally shimmer-y. I don't own any mattes except for a handful of lipsticks.

 

Are there any fancy/gourmet/special herbs or spices that you'd love to receive? ie: good quality vanilla or other extracts, vanilla beans, saffron, lavender, etc.

Also answered in the thread - but I always talk myself down from whole vanilla beans and saffron.

Technically both, but the blu-ray is in my husband's "man cave" so I'm not in there very often.

It takes me *forever* to use up bar soap. I have four bars in my stockpile, and that's enough to keep me in soap for at least the next year.

 

What periods of art do you love most? Like, if someone was going to get you a tapestry or a box or some other item, what period would you want it to most resonate with? the pinks and golds of Rococo? the clean geometry of Art Deco? The romanticism of Art Nouveux? The strange lines of Cubism?

I love impressionism and some Art Deco (especially Parisian Art Deco, like some of the older Metro signs)

I love Lollyphile's Irish Cream lollypop's, and I've also had the White Russian and old style Maple Bacon ones. I didn't care for the Maple Bacon and I'm not super interested in the new form (using bacon salt) and there are other flavors I'd rather try over the caffeinated ones.

I could use decorative pillows for my couches - they're navy blue with red and cream accents and I think garnet colored pillows would look sharp, but my husband always wants blend-in-with-the-couch-blue.

 

purses? bags? What style/colors?

I could maybe probably use a new purse, but purses that work for me are hard to find. They have to have either a zipper or a flap (and the flap has to be well secured by something stronger than a magnetic snap), it needs to be big enough to hold my Nook+case, but not too big because otherwise I will fill with crap and make it way too heavy and hurt myself walking around with it on my shoulder. A cross-body strap is bonus points.

 

Decorative scarves for hair and/or creative accessorizing? What colors?

Scarves aren't something I wear. I always feel dorky in them.

 

Would you like anything from Starring Fragrances. They make awesome hair stuff, natural deoderant, and home fragrance (and a ton of other stuff, those are just my favs)?

I've looked at them in the past, but I always talk myself out of the perfumes, and a lot of the bath/hair/body stuff has shea butter in them so I can't use them.

I don't hate poetry, it's just not something I read very often.

I usually lean towards baked goods/fruity/aquatic scents, and I stay away from incense or patchouli or other heavier scents.

Ok geek check - what sort of geeky things do you do? Do you read comics/graphic novels? Are you obsessed with something (a TV show maybe?) Do you work in a geeky field? Do you play rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons? Would you like gifts related to any of these?

The only geek-y thing I do these days is play Guild Wars. There's a Guild Wars related novel (that takes place sometime between the current games and when Guild Wars 2 will take place) that I wouldn't mind reading.. but otherwise I'm not sure what all there is to give that's outside of the game and doesn't require a game account to get.

 

Do you have a favorite fabric? If someone were to make you a fabric item, would you prefer it be out of any fabric? e.g. velvet, satin, silk, cotton, bamboo??? Would this change if it were an article of clothing vs. a bag/pillow/blanket/somethingelse

I'm not super fond of taffeta or spandex or anything else that's very synthetic (except for polar fleece - <3 that stuff) but otherwise I love fabric.

 

Anything with the Worm Moon update that you're already lusting after?

I'm kind of interested in Lord Teishin with a Demon Behind a Screen but it's not a must-have.
