What #1 actor, director, author and/or musician are you obsessed with?

 

I am obsessed with James McAvoy, Jake Gyllenhaal, Matthew Gray Gubler, and (shh, it's a guilty pleasure) Taylor Lautner. I love reading Laurie Notaro, Mary Roach, and Anthony Swofford. I am obsessed with Queens of the Stone Age/ Josh Homme, Pavement and/or Steven Malkmus, and finding new music all the time.

 

are you interested in anything from the Villainness Bad Apples update? It looks good. I'm pretty interested in trying some of their candles, I've never had one but they look cute and their other stuff smells so good!

 

If you have a pet, would he/she/they like to receive a treat or a toy as a gift? Does your pet have any dietary restrictions or other preferences w.r.t. said treat? I wish I had a pet, but I don't have one. I'm a godmother to an adorable long-haired weiner dog though.

 

What are your top three "I want to try them but I think I'll never get to try them" (or, "I've tried them and I want moar moar moar, but I don't think I'll ever get any") scents/bath oils/sprays? Oh gosh. Hmm. Well, Cheshire Moon is always my moar! scent. I will hoard any and all amounts of that. But I always like to try the Lunacies from before I joined (Spring 2008 and prior) or the velvet painting April Fools update, or anything like that.

 

Is there a particular artist and piece that you would like a print of? If so, what is your max size that you could spare on your walls? No, I just always love bird art, in general. There's all sorts of bird art in my house already so I always love adding to the current flock.

 

If you are in to beauty and makeup related stuff, what kind of stuff do you like? What is your skintone and hair color? Are there any beauty products you've wanted to try but just never purchase? I love finding vegan makeup! I love Urban Decay and Fyrinnae makeup and I'm obsessed with Fyrinnae's awesome sample sizes of eyeshadow (so many options!).

 

Do you like coffee or tea? Would you be interested in trying some different types? Tea is my jam, man. I'm a green tea fiend but I do love all tea. If you're into tea, tell me what kinds you like to drink!

 

Are there any CDs/Albums you've been wanting but haven't bought yet? What format do you prefer? (i.e. mp3, actual cd, record, etc) Well, I enjoy dancing like a loon to electronic music but I'm still working on my collection. If you happen to be into it and have some laying around, you could hit me with your progressive house, fidget house, chillwave, or dubstep. (or anything you think is good!)

Harry Potter - a fan? If so, what house are you? Oh, I love Harry but I'm no megafan. I would place myself in Ravenclaw, but I seem to be getting less clever as time goes on so you never know where I'd be sorted...

Is there a particular myth/folktale/legend/fairytale/godstory that you're drawn to? Mothman! He scares the bejeezus out of me though. I wrote a 15 page paper on him in high school. I'm kinda funny, I love paranormal stuff but it truly scares me (pretty much everything scares me though, I'm a weiner) so I have to ration my intake of the paranormal to prevent insomnia.

If you could see anything, what would it be? Can be a person, an event, a landmark or monument, an object, etc. And it doesn't have to be on this planet, or in this time period, or in this reality! Flamingos in Belize! Penguins in South America!

 

When you are having a really rough day, what do you like to do/have to make it a little brighter? Relax with a book or tv show or a magazine, tea or bubble tea, and a blanket. I build little "nests" on my couch and camp out in them.

 

What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters? I really dig the humor of Get Fuzzy and Dinosaur Comics. Anything in a similar vein I would probably find hilarious.

 

Are you musical? Do you play an instrument, and if so, what? If not, what do you wish you could play or do? HA! No. Sadly. I really love listening to music and dancing to it but I cannot sing or play an instrument. I really wish I could sing, but unfortunately it's best left to when I'm alone in the car.

 

Does anyone garden? And if you do, what do you grow? If not, would a starter garden kit be something you'd be interested in? Being a farmer, I have some pretty good hookups in this department. I think I'm set. I'm currently hoping the hot weather will ripen my tasty cherry and yellow pear tomatoes.

 

Do you decorate for Halloween? Is your decorating taste elegant, kitschy and fun, or scary? Yes! I love Halloween decorating. I tend toward the elegant or kitschy rather than actually scary or gory though.

 

Witchee, do you have any symbols or totems that have special meaning for you? Birds, of course. Mostly waterfowl. Also hellebore flowers.

 

Is anyone fond of programs like Adopt a Tree/Highway/Library/Manatee/Acre of Rainforest/etc?: There's always adopting a turkey from Farm Sanctuary for Thanksgiving!

 

 

From the Weenie Update....what are you most wanting to try? Um, is everything an acceptable answer? I ordered decants of 13 scents and I'm going to get bottles of Blood Moon and Sprinklecakes. I'll list the decants I'm getting somewhere just in case, though.

 

Who's into nail polish? What colors/brands? I'm a sucker for Zoya. It's vegan, and I've been known to waste plenty of time on the internet looking at color swatches and adding to my little collection. What a nerd. Oh hold on! I just thought of something to tell you. I love dark vampy jelly colors like Zoya Casey (my #1 fave) if those words mean anything to you (are you a polish nut?) if not, carry on!

 

Is there a quote (or lyric or part of a poem) that really resonates with you or is your favorite? 'I am no saint & make no claims'

 

Dream candle? Scent, color, type (tealight, votive, pillar, jar, etc.), throw... If it's vegan soy wax, medium throw? I'm there, man. I love the ambiance candles create, it's just so dreamy.

 

Do you like knitted goodies? If so, what would you like and what colors? I love knitted things. I'm usually cold and I like to be snuggly, so I'm always pleased with things like socks, scarves, hats, or gloves. I don't wear wool but I'm down with acrylic, bamboo, etc. One of my past Witches sent me a handmade purple bamboo scarf that is amazing. I love light grey, dark grey, pinks, purples.

 

Would you be interested in homemade edibles that are NOT sweets? Any specifics? Sure, I love food! If you're into vegan food, go for it. If the idea of vegan food makes you nervous, don't worry about it!

 

What GC do you live in mortal terror of the lab discontinuing, but never get around to buying? Hmm. It would be the Apothecary, the Harlot's House, or Grand Guignol. I'm sure there's others, I always find GCs I like, then I drop them out of my orders in favor of a LE. Sorry GCs. I still love you, I promise.

What is your favorite animal? Birds. Ducks, geese, swans, flamingos, peacocks, chickens, plovers, pelicans, you know. Feathery things. I love them.

 

What are you going to be for Halloween? I am still in preliminary discussions about this with my boyfriend and our group of friends. We always try to coordinate, then usually bail on that because we fail at finding something that works for all of us. Ideas so far have been: Judith from the SNL Lawrence Welk skit, Pikachu, or everyone from Criminal Minds. I like to be someone recognizable but not too ubiquitous. Recent Halloweens I was Katy Perry (complete with blue wig) and Snow White (I have dark hair and white skin).

 

If you could have a piece of oil painting jewelry (pendant, pair of earrings, or ring) with absolutely anything painted on it, what would it be?

(If you prefer wall art instead, same question as above.) Probably one or more of the birds I listed for favorite animal. Or maybe hellebores.

 

How do you feel about nick-knacks? Fairly neutral. If you think it works, it probably does.

 

What traditions (family, holiday, or otherwise) are important to you?

Baking cookies at Christmas time and looking at Christmas lights. Drinking apple cider and being the friend with huge, overflowing bowls of candy at Halloween. Eating a giant vegan Thanksgiving dinner.

 

Do you like going to the movies? Yes! I love escaping the real world and getting immersed into a movie for a couple of hours. I go to both the (expensive ) regular cinema and the awesome, second run cheaper theaters with beer! Beer and 3 or 4 dollar tickets, I tell you!

 

What are your favorite restaurants? Local vegan places like Portobello , Paradox, Beijing Hot Pot, Vege Thai, Sizzle Pie, Vita Cafe, Papa G's, Blossoming Lotus, Pho PDX, Ya Hala, stuff like that. I love Vietnamese, Lebanese, Japanese, Italian...who am I kidding, I just like food. In general.

 

Do you play any video games? A little bit, but it's usually me on the internet reading things while my boyfriend plays stuff and I sort of watch. I'm not that great of a gamer but I like Katamari Damacy, GTA: Vice City, and wacky stuff for the Wii like Wario Ware and Raving Rabids. I maintain that the best video games of all time are the Spyro the Dragon series for the original Playstation and PS 2.

 

Do you like any anime? Sort of? I have watched a few that my boyfriend likes but I'm not specifically into one myself. I don't have anything against it though.

 

Do you have an E-reader/iPad/something similar that you need a cover/case for? I have a Kindle but it has a fab case already!

 

how much do you like jewelry? like, if you were to get a shit ton of it during the round, how excited would you be? Yes, I am a magpie and I like the shiny. I would wear necklaces and bracelets the most. I could use a new silver bracelet, bangles or a charm bracelet, anything pretty and/or sparkly really!
