I’m always drawn in by story. I like some anime, but not the chibi style. I like things more like Avatar, Moribito, or Samurai Champloo.

A question! If you are crafty, what's your personal art style? I'm not talking just about what art you like to look at, but what kind of art do you like creating? Do you have a "process" while you're creating beauty?

I write a (now year old??!! whoa) Gothic/Victorian serial over on The LJ. I don’t have a process, really, just a committment to doing it every day. I describe it as Buffy meets Sherlock.

Yes please! I love incense in all forms. I like resinous scents a lot - frankincense, myrrh, dragon's blood... I also really love sandalwood, cedar, and woodsy scents like that. Nothing too sweet.

Eh. I enjoyed it but I'm not in the fandom.

Ooh, I like this question! I like all the tricksters, but Coyote and I have an interesting relationship. Athena is my unofficial patroness, but I've also always loved the myth of Persephone.

 

 

When you are having a really rough day, what do you like to do/have to make it a little brighter?

Chocolate. Especially chocolate with the gooey caramel filling, like the ghiradelli squares. And sometimes booze. But that I'm having to give up more or less: we're sorta-kinda TTC right now and I'm on a lot of meds (for unrelated reasions).

What are your thoughts on comics? Any you like? Any you have been wanting to try? Favorite characters?

I love Sandman, I read Hellboy when I remember to, I read Fables but am terribly behind, and I loved "Ruse" which was a four issue miniseries that I'm really hoping they will pick up.

 

Does anyone garden? And if you do, what do you grow? If not, would a starter garden kit be something you'd be interested in?

I do! I have a small herb and vegetable garden that I'm hoping to expand come spring.

Do you decorate for Halloween? Is your decorating taste elegant, kitschy and fun, or scary?

Yes! I like things on the elegant / spooky side of things. I also really like vintage decorations.

Just getting into it! I love OPI, but I'd love to branch out. I really like holos / sparkly colors. No pinks or oranges, but I love reds, purples, and "fun" colors (blue, green, etc). Metallics are also a big win.

I do! Dark colors, please, because I have dark colored pets! Scarves are lovely, don't really wear hats, LOVELOVELOVE arm and wrist warmers.
