I decided to start a new entry, I hope you don't mind! I noticed a lot of people saying they were starting to get cut off, so just in case...

 

 

 

Cthulhu: yay or nay?

Cthulhu stalks me. Seriously. I got real interested in Tarot cards one day, talked to some people on the forums about finding a good starter deck and they told me to go with one that calls to me. I went to the bookstore and lo and behold! The Necronomicon deck. I didn't know much about Lovecraft stuff then. I had heard of him, and some of his stories and Cthulhu of course, but nothing detailed. I ended up buying the Necronomicon deck after debating for an hour or more between that and another one. But that one just called to my dark side and I loved the spooky imagery on the cards. Ever since then, Cthulhu has been popping up everywhere! Shortly after that day, I discovered The Last Lovecraft on Netflix. Awesomely funny. I started seeing his image or references to him all over, in Squishables, on FB, in songs (Metallica and Deadmau5 to name a couple off the top of my head). I watched all of season 14 of South Park when I saw it on Netflix too and those 3 episodes at the end had Cthulhu in them! So he's definitely made himself known to me and I've grown quite fond of him myself, maybe even a little obsessively so.

 

Is there something that you wish you could do, but you keep putting it off?

Find my own place to live? My roomie is frustrating at time. Or get a car.

I ordered 3 Weenies when they came out, Askalaphos, Autumn Cider and Samhain 2011. I got in a decant group for some other ones simply because I wanted them but could no way afford to get a full bottle of all I wanted.

 

Do you have any interest in rocks? Not like, polished colorful stones.. but like... rocks. With geologic significance!

They are pretty I'm just not sure where I would put them? What would you do with them?

 

If your witch were to knit you a scarf/shawl/cowl, which would you prefer, and what features would you want? Would you prefer something light and drape-y or thick and warm? What kind of colors would you prefer? Do you have any fiber allergies or preferences?

Mmm, it doesn't get terribly cold here so something light probably, that could more be used as accessories to an outfit. Neutral colors are loved since they go with anything but if you're tired of me saying black, I do love purples, blues, green and earthy colors and reds. No allergies!

If your witch was the practical type and wanted to include one or more of your everyday essentials, what would those include? I'm talking about the bath products, lotions, face lotions, teas, food, etc that you really use every day.

I use basic Walmart shampoos and stuff, usually the rosemary and mint shampoo. I'm always on the hunt for a good conditioner for curly hair that will tone down the frizz and help the fact that it's dry as hell due to bleaching the black dye out of it. Ugh. Good everyday lotions. Gum. I can NEVER have to much gum!

Yes! Victorian or medieval stuff is awesome. I'm getting into steampunk lately too. Gothic-y stuff is always right up my dark little alley.

A combination of the genres and art style I guess. I always liked the magical girl ones, Cardcaptor Sakura was my favorite and I have the Japanese manga of it. Of course, I can't -read- it, but it's cool to have!

You can put a lot of delicious and fun things into trail mix, yeah? If you say "Sure, I'd love some!" what kinds of things do you like/not like in those kinds of snacks, ie coconut flakes, raisins, certain nuts (allergies??), candy, etc. Give us your list of DO's and DON'Ts!

Mmm, yummy! I always need something healthy to snack on to keep me away from bad, naughty things! Now that you mention coconut... -drool- I don't have food allergies, so anything goes. Just stick something chocolate in with the rest and I will be one happy little undead gal.

 

Do you like charm bracelets? If you had a bracelet, what sort of charms would you want on it? Favorite hobbies, symbols, whatever?

I don't have one but I've always wanted one! Something to represent art, a paintbrush or something maybe? A palm tree. A skull, a dragon, a star and moon. Some favorite animals, like a wolf and/or owl. Something like a flame or match to represent fire. An Aries sign, hehe. The boy always calls me Aries, or likes to say, "Your Aries is showing." He's so goofy. I guess add a heart or something lovey in there for him. Or a Virgo sign. Something to represent WoW or video games. I could prolly think of more later.

 

If you're interested in a handmade pouch/cover for an item you have (phones, tablets, books, keys, kettles...), what would your ideal pouch/cover have? Design, material, additional functionality/features like pockets or lights or secret hidey-holes?

Not sure if I need anything like this, my phone isn't a fancy one and my Nook has a basic cover... I'll add if I think of anything. I like soft materials though, light breezy ones with pretty colors or cool patterns. I have these two fabrics I found at Walmart I think, one is light lavender with silver stars and the other is sort of a tie-dyed blue and purple with stars that look like they are kiddie drawn. I use it as a pattern in my art sometimes actually!

I can usually do something like this myself, but I tend to like other peoples art better than my own.

Yes, yum! Soft material again, nothing itchy. Hands/wrists to elbow-ish area. Patterns are cool, so are solids. I have a few stripey pairs that I made from long socks by just cutting the feet off.

Yes to all of the above? Well, I never had a tart warmer, but I'm sure I'd love tarts too.

Sweet. Or sweet and salty mixed. Chocolate covered pretzels or bacon, I like pepper in my chocolate and ice cream. I just had this really good strawberry peppercorn chocolate chip ice cream and it's sooo tasty!

Ah, Starbucks is not a luxury I can afford, but I heard good things about their pumpkin ones. If I buy stuff at the store, I tend to favor anything with chocolate or caramel.

This is how most of my days are. So boring. If I had a car, I'd go to the zoo or to Enchanted Forest and lurk in their incense section cuz it smells so good, then go cuddle the stuffed dragons in the back room.

Zomg... White chocolate with coconut and raspberries or blueberries (what is goji? That looks interesting) and oreos. Nah. Maybe clowns a little, but creepy ones. Circus clowns make me giggle. Spiders, roaches, any types of bugs. Also stuff like needles/blood, vomit, etc. I have a weak stomach. Move gore is just fine until they show the needles, then I can't watch!

I prefer to read, when I listen to something, I tend to be doing several other things too and never really focus. It's more or less background noise while working or drawing.

Ooh, I would love that! The ability to try some new flavors without committing to an expensive full tin is a great idea! Just be sure to label what kinds they are cuz I have an awful memory and would forget.

I'm an architecture student and can print posters (provided I make them) at pretty much any size using Adobe Illustrator at a low price. Coconut M&M's, cadburry fruit and nut bars, anything ghirardelli, those chocolate bars with the pop rocks and peppers but I forget the brand name. The pop rocks one is really tasty!

Yes! But I don't know what the scariest thing I've read was... Movies tend to freak me out moar than books, but I guess anything with ghosts is pretty scary.
