Nope, but I am very much INTP on the MBTI one. This profile is pretty accurate for me.

 

Is anyone else afraid of or creepy out by dummies/puppets/Muppets/etc? Other things you're squicked/freaked by that's best left by the wayside?

Nope. The only thing that squicks me that I'm at all likely to get in a package is dry textures, like chalky erasers and matte paint. Just typing that squicks me. There's a whole synaesthetic category of things like that that I avoid.

 

What level of contact were you hoping for?

I put "any," and I stand by that. The first round I did, I had a low-contact Witch who was fantastic, and this round, I'm getting a much higher level of contact, and I have another fantastic Witch. I think you just have to focus on how much fun it is to have a Witchee, and let whatever you get from your Witch come as a happy surprise.

 

Your favorite restaurant or type of food to eat out. Would you use a restaurant.com voucher? Groupon?

There is nothing for my area, but now that the Air and Space Museum is starting a new lecture series, I'll probably be in DC once a month or so with my best friend. I love trying new restaurants (as long as they're not seafood) and new cuisines. I also may go to Richmond or Williamsburg occasionally.

 

Are there any local museums/attractions you keep never getting around to going to?

My local museums are the teensy tiny ones like the Mary Ball Washington Museum (which recently featured an exhibit from my church for its 200th anniversary) and the Fisherman's Museum.

 

Is there any kind of international candy you love or would like to try?

Any besides licorice or things with nuts! Well, almonds are okay in small quantities and with toffee. I love trying foreign candy! Candy and drinks are the first things I check in grocery stores when I go abroad. I got all addicted to tarkun (why is this good? It's tarragon-flavored soda!), kvas (again, no idea what is appealing about this, but I like "yeast extract," (Marmite/Vegemite) so maybe it's not surprising), sbiten', and medovukha in Moscow.

 

What is something totally random (yes, that thing that just popped into your head) that hasn't been covered by any previous questions?

Nerdy or travel buttons and patches for my messenger bag.

Not really. I change into pajamas, brush my teeth, wash my face, and put on whatever BPAL I'm in the mood for. I also tend to read for ages and fall asleep with the lights on, but I'd really like to change the second part of that "ritual".

That they are total awesomesauce. I love the Polonova wrist warmers at Sock Dreams in navy (or pretty much any of the colors, really). I also like sleeve-length ones in solid colors, stripes, argyle, whatever. The tie-dyed ones (purple, green, and blue especially) are really cool, too. I just like them soft!

 

What's your favorite flavor? Sour, sweet, bitter, salty?

I love Thai hot and sour soup. Don't know where mint fits, but peppermint is one of my very favorite things. I love Altoids, and I put mint extract on vanilla ice cream.

I don't play online games, because I would get addicted SO. EASILY.

Don't really like Starbucks coffee. If I go there, I get something full of sugar and soy milk to mask the coffee flavor. Usually, though, I drink coffee black. I like medium and dark roasts.

I don't have any set brands for soap, face wash, shampoo, etc., but if you know anything particularly good for acne, please recommend! I suppose I could use a good soap dish - I'm just using Lever 2000 and keeping it in the shower now, but I keep meaning to get nice soaps and it would be good to have somewhere to store them where they'd last longer.

Yes! A girl I worked with had homemade teriyaki deer jerky that was amazing. I like it kind of chewy, but crunchy is also good.
