Any crafty pursuits you've been dying to experiment with? Would you like a little kit of something you've never tried? Do you need any particular items for your new or existing stash?

With all of my knitting projects I don't really have time for anything else atm.

 

Bunny, could you use a 2012 calendar, and, if so, do you like big monthly ones or the page-a-day type? No thank you, we have a 2012/13 one.

Are you a big ol' nerd for any particular subject? Science, math, linguistics, etc? Or particular authors/fandoms?

Star Trek (original & TNG), Doctor Who, and I absolutely love reading about different world religions & belief systems (both present and past, especially when it has to do with how cultures deal with death) and astronomy.

 

Does anyone have issues with gently used things like books, etc.?

Nope, not at all! (just please, no undies )

And I actually prefer used book when possible, as long as they have all the pages and aren't falling apart. The only thing I prefer to buy new are tarot decks.

Do you have a strong preference for any sort of bath and body product brands (i.e. etailer/etsy type cos, department store/specialty brands like Lush) or are you cool with anything that doesn't smell like Bunnybane?

As long as it's cruelty free and preferably without parabens.

I hope so, but whatever my fox prefers.

 

Any favorite cuddly characters?

Not that I can think of. I've always wanted a plush Adipose though.

 

Charity gifts? Either fair-trade type stuff, or virtual type gifts, like vaccinations or school supplies being bought on your behalf, or something along those lines?

I'm very picky on what charities I support. I will try to make up a list.

Kitchen Marmalade sounds nice, along with Peacock Plumes and Exp. #5 (if it's not already gone!).

Dh's blood results came back and I am cracking down on what we eat for a while, so please no candy. Well, I guess a little bit of dark chocolate (esp. with mint ) would be ok and candy canes are fine since dh doesn't like them, but the kids do.

It seems that everything I like is either reserved or too expensive.

Normally I would offer up some knitted goods but as it is I will be pushing it to get done all my prjests before the holidays.

I have some on my amazon wishlist, the rest I'll be checking out from the library since we have so many books. Seriously. My parents threatened to never help us move again unless we donated some of our books. I think we have more boxes of books than everything else combined.

I'm fine with hot stuff, though dh is more about hot foods than I am.

I don't have much from Luch (other than what a super sweet person on here sent me ), but I would be interested in the Orange Blossom solid perfume and the Chilli Tingle lip tint.

I have a box filled with nail polish I rarely wear, and in just about every color, so no thank you. I really need to use up some of what I have.

Bottle of GRR (I get a lot of headaches and just spilled much of my bottle of OOF during a shaky, very severe headache, but would really like to get GRR now since I think it would work better for me) and La Calavera Catrina, plus an imp of Pool of Tears.

Sadly, no. They are yummy, but due to dh's recent blood work, goodies like that are a no-no for now in the house.

Love love love coffee. It is the one addiction I allow myself. Prefer ground, but whole bean is good too. Decaf, half-caf, full-caf...whatever is good! And I love flavored coffees as well as unflavored, as long as it smells good. Our favorite coffee was Highlander Grog from Avalon Coffee, but since moving down to Va the only time we have been able to get it is when my in-laws occasionally bring some down.

 

Who else here loves or would like to try Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics? If so, what would you like?

I have a few lip tars that I like, but I'll have to look a see what others ones I want to try.

 

Would any Bunny like to receive Holiday serving bowls, trays, platters etc...? Winter/Christmas or Thanksgiving/Fall themed?

My parents gave us a complete set of Christmas disshes, etc so we're good.

 

I know some people are squicked out at the idea of eating things that other people make, or the thought of deep fried cookies sends them into cardiac arrest. If you were my fox, would you like to receive some homemade goodies, or would you prefer that your goodies came from the store?

Dh just got back some test results and I have now cracked down on what we eat, so please no baked goods. A little dark chocolate or something would be fine though.

I love tartes and room oils that I can burn in a diffuser. Nothing too sweet or foody. I live cinnamon based scents during the winter, as well as citrus (orange or lemon).

 

Socks! Slippers! Do you love them or not really wear them? If you love them, do you also love Sock Dreams?

Do you do a Christmas tree? If yes is it themed or specially colored or do you just have all different ornaments and such?

Most of our tree is decorated with ornaments the kids have made, ones from when I was a kid, or just random ones we've been given. We can't do glass or anything breakable due having 3 cats that like to climb up the inside of the tree.

 

Would you like a special ornament?

Our tree is running out of room for ornaments and we don't even put up all the ornaments we have.

 

Is there any sort of regional food/drink/treat you miss or have always wanted to try?

hmmm...not that I can think of.

We have a ton since I had a mug obsession for a while and we have run out of room, so I'm not allowed any more.

 

 

Do you like knitted goods? If so, what would you like, what colors, and do you have any sensitivites or preference when it comes to type of yarn (ex: wool: yay or nay? Do you prefer machine washable materials? Do you not care?)?

I do most of my knitting since I can be pretty picky about fit and yarn, but I can usually use supplies (just lmk if you would like ideas and I can go through what I have and need).

 

I live near a brick and morter location for a really, really good spice store. would you use cooking spices and if you would, what would you need? (it's penzey's if you want to google it). Probably not, at least not cooking spices (though dh would use them, I don't cook). Stuff like cocoa or something I can add to flavor coffee will always be appreciated though.

ETA: I have one not that far from me! Next time I'm in Richmond (maybe Monday?) I'lm going to check it out.

Burt's Bees Peppermint foot cream, Garnier Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller (mine is almost finished) and if there is enough left over, a travel size yummy smelling hand cream (my hands get so dry during the winter).
