Ok, I've edited this so it looks somewhat normal but something odd is up with the blog entries, so I can't guarantee the formatting will look good. My apologies, dear swapper!

August 2nd>What magazines do you read/ have subscriptions to?

Whole Dog Journal, Smithsonian.

">What kind of socks or tights do you like?

Don't wear tights, but love socks. Natural fibers please. I like any length from anklets to knee high (love the idea of thigh high but don't wear them much). I like jewel tones in particular, but lots of colors are great.

">Who would like to get a box in the mail with different teas in them? If so, what kinds?

I like tea, but haven't been drinking as much. I prefer herbal teas or flavored blacks, but drink herbal the most. All time favorites though that I drink all the time and am always in need of are ginger tea and hibiscus tea.

Do you use loose leaf or tea bags? Do you need any tea supplies, like bags, pots, or infusers?

I use either. The only tea thing I need for the winter is a tea cozy or a tea pot that will keep my tea hot longer than my little glass pot does.

August 3rd

would you like anything (small) handknitted? if so, fiber sensitivities?

Sure! I like wool, but unless it is very soft merino, it does tend to bother me, esp. if it is on the neck. (its fine for hands). I love all luxury fibres of course, but don't expect them. Otherwise, anything goes. I prefer natural fibers but acrylic can be ok too. Jewel tones or earth tones are good.

Do you like knitted items? Any allergies or preferences when it comes to the yarn? What colors?

see above. best colors--deep (blue toned) red. black. grey. Forest green. Purple.

What kind of wrapping do you like? Goth? Flowers? Girlie? Bright? Sparkly? Plain? Modern? Fancy? Other?

any. I don't really have thoughts about it except that probably not girlie.

August 5th

Would you mind anything Alice in Wonderland UnBirthday themed?

Love it! I love alice!

August 6th

What are your art preferences?

check into my other swap posts/wishlists for more info. I like folk art esp.

How do you feel about sample sizes or testers of things?

Love them!

Speaking of Villainess, who here is a fan? Would you want any of their goodies? If so, what are your scent wishes, and which types of products would you like? (i.e., Soap, Sugar Scrub, Moisturizer etc)It's ok, but I'm not crazy about it. There are other companies I like more.

Do you have any hobbies that you need supplies for? Or anything you would like to learn to do?

I dabble in a lot of crafts, none particularly well. Jewelry making (beading), a lot of fabric dyeing, some collaging, etc. I've toyed with the idea of getting a "knook" to try the knitting/crochet technique, but haven't done it and don't know if I will. I can't think of supplies I need right now.

Do you need any kitchen supplies? ">The only thing I know I'd like is a tiny little zester type grater for whole spices. Oh, measuring cups/spoons.

August 7th Are there any herbs or spices that you need?Love any spices. Really. I love Penzey's spices. Curries are fab. But anything spicey/tangy would be wonderful.

Although it's just the beginning of August, I've ALREADY started to see a few Halloween items showing up in the shops here and there- would you be interested in an early Halloween goodie?Sure!

August 8thIf you are a knitter or hooker (aka crochet), do you need any yarn and accessories, or are there any Ravelry patterns that you would like? I don't knit.

>August 9thhow do you like your incense, oil burners, or candles? Would you use an oil burner and essential oils? If so, what would be some longed-for essential oils? I love incense, esp. loose incense which I burn on the woodstove in the winter. I prefer resins and woods, and I do like high quality incense, like Fred Soll (made down the road from me, so I don't need any!) and the good Japanese incenses. I do have a oil burner but don't use it as much. I love essential oils though, and do need some new ones. Just bought more lavender and cedar, but almost anything else would be welcome, esp. if they also have healing qualities. I do need a rose, but that is pretty pricey, so don't worry about that. Would LOVE a BPAL candle, but also pretty pricey.

Is there anyone here who does collage or scrapbooking? If so, would you want a 'magpie gift', like, origami papers or other pretty things that could be incorporated into those types of art? Yes!

">talk to me of candy. preferences, flavors, types, chocolate, not chocolate, etc.

Mentioned this in my questions. I like good chocolate. Usually milk, but dark is ok too if it is paired with things that go well with it. I love fancy exotic filled chocolate. I love caramel, sea salt in particular. good nut brittles. Peanut butter with chocolate.

Will add more later!
