What's the neatest freebie you've gotten? It can be cool or thoughtful or just totally unexpected, and not limited to BPALdom.

- I've received so many awesome goodies but I'm always thrilled when I get something handmade unexpectedly even little things like origami or a bookmark

 

Would you enjoy receiving cute but useful items like colorful kitchen utensils/gadgets, or bento supplies? (boxes, chopsticks, accessories, etc?) What about things like spice mixes (homemade, or Penzey's for example)

- yes & yes! I love cooking & baking. In terms of spice mixes, I'm curious about Old Bay Seasoning & Zatar (I think this might be the Zhug seasoning I've been searching for!!)

 

Do you like cute, seasonal or fluffy PJ bottoms? Like they sell at Target, Old Navy (they have had cute Halloween ones!) If so, what size do you wear? I'd love some! something soft preferrred in size L (or xl if they fit small)

 

What kind of chocolate do you like? Nuts, no nuts, white,dark, etc?

- pretty much all kinds! the weirder, the better

 

I live near a Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Penzeys! What does your little heart desire from any or all of these places?- We have Whole Foods, but not Trader Joe's or Penzeys - I'd be excited about teas, snacky foods, candy & spice mixes

 

Are home made foods acceptable or does the idea of eating strange mailed food disturb you? - Perfectly acceptable!

 

I just gave you $20 and sent you into a "has everything" store ala Walmart and told you that you have to come out having spent it all, and none of it on anything you need. What would you buy? Be as specific as possible!

- I'd buy some fun, patterned, thin cotton socks, tea & mini chocolate bars

- I like Greek, Indian & unusual pizza; favorite restaurants are White Spot, Subeez, the Boathouse & Griffins at Hotel Vancouver for special occasions

- since I'm also in Canada there's not much I can't get myself but I've been looking for a herbal tea called "Vie en Rose" from Four O'clock Tea (which is a Canadian company) that I can't find anymore & regional specialties are always fun to get

Hehe, I seem to have my best luck at Value Village (though I sometimes do well at Reitmans, too). I like to wear embroidered Indian-style tops (not the really long tunics, the shorter hip-length ones) or loose-but-fitted patterned short sleeves with dark pants & black flat sandals or chunky black ankle boots

Not really up on designer stuff but I like a nice Coach purse (black, blue or purple) or Pandora bracelet charms
