What's the neatest freebie you've gotten? It can be cool or thoughtful or just totally unexpected, and not limited to BPALdom.

I don't know if this counts... but I won a laptop at my school's afterprom. That was pretty cool.

 

Would you enjoy receiving cute but useful items like colorful kitchen utensils/gadgets, or bento supplies? (boxes, chopsticks, accessories, etc?) What about things like spice mixes (homemade, or Penzey's for example)

I pretty much don't have a kitchen in this apartment, and absolutely no oven. So I don't get to do a lot of cooking. I don't need bento supplies, I have more than enough

 

Do you like cute, seasonal or fluffy PJ bottoms? Like they sell at Target, Old Navy (they have had cute Halloween ones!) If so, what size do you wear?

One of my family members gets me a new pair each year, so I have them coming out my ears

 

What kind of chocolate do you like? Nuts, no nuts, white,dark, etc?

Dark chocolate, no nuts, no fruit. Caramel okay.

I don't think I've been in any of these... I...wouldn't know...

 

Are home made foods acceptable or does the idea of eating strange mailed food disturb you?

I will eat pretty much anything The rules on mailing things are weird in Japan, though, so be careful!

 

I just gave you $20 and sent you into a "has everything" store ala Walmart and told you that you have to come out having spent it all, and none of it on anything you need. What would you buy? Be as specific as possible!

A first gen Kobo, his name is Aziraphale He's not as fancy as the ones out now, and he's a bit slow, but I loves him.

 

Do you like candles, or tart burners, or something? If so, what's your favorite scent to burn?

I love burning! I love spicey, incensey smells. Dragon's blood is a favorite. I also have some Japanese temple incense that I have no idea what it is but I adore.

I don't have a counter, and my washer is evil. So probably not

If you get me (or a fellow Aussie, if there are any playing this round) as a witch or witch's minion, would you like to try some Australian specialties, such as TimTams (delicious chocolately cookies), Caramello Koalas (koala shaped chocolates filled with gloopy caramel), Australian native spices or anything like that?

The import store here has TimTams a lot, I like! Caramello Koalas sound HILARIOUS! Would try! I don't know much about other Australian things... I want to eat an emu, but I don't think that counts

 

If your witch is a knitter, crocheter or sewer, is there a particular type of garment you would love to receive (hat, scarf, wrap, cowl, socks, fingerless gloves, arm warmers etc)?

I'm allergic to wool, so just a note on that. Otherwise, something for my head (cowl, scarf, etc.) since I ride my bike a lot and winter is cooooold.

 

Is there anyone else in your house (kids, pets, partner) that would really appreciate a small gift being included for them in the switchwitchy haul so they don't feel left out?

My style is semi-eclectic so I haven't really noticed any artist I particularly like. I'm not into modern art, I can say that much.

 

If you could have an image or certain subject painted for you on any type of "canvas" (on a box, on paper, on a canvas, and so on) - could you point your witch to some of these images?

I can't think of anything specific, but I like dragons quite a bit. I usually decorate things with a mix of dragons, phoenix or animals. I like tribal or sort of henna-esque designs a lot. All of my BPAL boxes/holders are decorated with peacocks currently. Not entirely sure how that happened

 

Is there a GC scent that's been on your list for ages but keeps falling off the bottom of your order because of the LEs?

This is quite an answer to this question, but I DESPERATELY want to try The Red Rider and The White Rider. I can't seem to find them on any sales/swaps pages, so I guess they must be good! I'm horribly in love with Black Rider so I really want to try the other two.

 

I've been getting into indie nail polish brands recently. What's your favorite indie brand of nail polish? Or what's your favorite mainstream brand of nail polish? Or are you not big on polish?

Wild rice, no. It would be a pain to ship internationally. Maple syrup would be yummy though!

My kitchen is pretty much non existant. I have two burners attached (literally) to a sink. There is a mini fridge with a microwave on top behind that. That's it. I don't like talking about my kitchen, needless to say *sigh*

What would your ideal blend be?I know exactly nothing about what goes well, so this would probably smell like a mess, but: Leather, Dragon's Blood, Frankincense and Labdnaum. There are absolutely no top notes in there, so no idea how mixing three base notes with one middle would even work... probably horrible.

 

Any Bath, Body or nutritional type items you would love to try from a Natural and Organic food store (similar to Whole Foods) that you don't buy because they are a bit too pricey? I don't think I've ever been in a place like that to look...

Do you have any Fall or Halloween traditions? My mom really really really likes Halloween. The house gets transformed into a haunted house with new things added each year. My family members all haunt the house, and the kids have to go through to get their candy. We do a scare count and keep track of how many kids cried and how many ran away. The ones who cried but made it through get extra candy, of course.
