Nah. The furball doesn’t do toys. They’re beneath him. He *IS* feline, after all.

If you have kids, what are they into?

The Bug is into disney princesses (especially Merida from Brave, right now), Sid the Science Kid, Spongebob, Phineas and Ferb (esp. Perry), and Strawberry Shortcake. She loves to color and do puzzles and worksheets (esp. math – don’t ask). Also loves video games for her Leapster – learning games FTW! Also, kid appropriate smellies (her favorites are Dirty, Lady Una, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat) and ANY color nail polish, especially if it's bright.

How do you feel about wearable knitted lace? Shawls, wraps, and the like?

Oh yes. I’ve recently developed an obsession with scarves and shawls. i can knit, but i have yet to figure out lace. I reeeeealllly want the Bigger on the Inside shawl on Ravelry or something similar.

Looking at the warehouse, I notice that our lovely Greenwoodtree is able to do chart readings and/or forecasts at a very reasonable rate. Is this something you would want?

For those who like tea, what sorts of tea do you like?

*REAL* teas, not the flavored ones that taste like scented erasers smell. I’m currently on the hunt for a good peach or blackberry (I can’t find one around here), although I LOOOOOOOVE mint tea and spiced tea. See my answer for the question about Adagio Teas for a more thorough answer.

Umm… ALL THE THINGS? I’m a huge fan of japanese food, I speak a teeny bit, and I <3 hello kitty just about anything. Also, anything bento related (including a box) is very much a good thing and I’d love some nice chopsticks or sushi making equipment (paddles, mat, etc. I very much doubt a hangiri or rice cooker is in the cards. ) flavor-wise, I love the prawn crackers, green tea, red bean, and strawberry flavors. I will have nothing to do with wasabi unless it also involves sushi.

WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF!!! movies, comedians, black humor, your partner, a comic strip? what?

Bizarre music (Vampire Beach Babes, Tom Lehrer, They Might Be Giants), *SOME* internet videos (Stuff and Kenya from Weebl Stuff, the spongmonkeys and viking kittens from Rathergood.com, Strongbad Emails from HomestarRunner.com), Eddie Izzard, Simon Pegg, xkcd, geeky jokes, black humor… I think Iron Sky is one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in ages and I’m actually a big fan of Phineas and Ferb, Ruby Gloom, and Invader Zim – I will NEVER not laugh at Gir. I either actively dislike or are just meh about most movies billed as comedies.

That Adventure Myths dealer sounds interesting… I love urban legends (that aren’t the cheesy ones), ‘haunted history’, etc. the trans-allegheny asylum is like an hour and a half from me, so I’m ok there, unless there’s something really warped related to the medical history available. If Barker were still supposed to be there, I’d beg, plead, and cry for his autograph, but he’s still recovering, it seems. Anything Hellraiser or Nightbreed is awesome (especially Nightbreed).

You are meeting up with someone on a casual lunch/early afternoon thing. This person is someone you want to impress/look good for (for whatever reason, not necessarily romantic, and not necessarily for business either). What would you look like, given the contents of your wardrobe/etc?

Very rockabilly. Depending on the weather, probably a walking skirt and mock turtleneck sweater, scarf around the neck, saddle shoes or creepers. Candy apple red nail polish and lipstick.

You are to be let loose in a clothing store of your choice, to pick a full outfit, down to the shoes, the accessories, etc. and things would be altered to fit you if needed. What store would that be, and what would you look like?

Heartbreaker Fashion. The Super Spy dress, complete with bullet bra, girdle/garter set, seamed stockings (cuban heel), cat’s eye sunglasses. They don’t have shoes or hats, but I would need a pair of plain black patent leather heels and a large black and white hat, a la Audrey Hepburn. Think Natasha from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons. ;-)

Big stuff - A candy apple red Kitchenaid mixer, complete with all the attachments, a new laptop, and the Ranger dress from Ravenswoodleather.com in renaissance burgundy or grey. Small stuff - a bottle of Lady Death: Savage, some Jaffa Cakes, and one of the hoodies on my Think Geek wishlist.

if you wear earrings, do you have pierced ears? Pierced and stretched – 00ga. Please no acrylics, they hurt my ears. Gemstones and metals are ok, though. i'd really like a new pair of silicone plugs or tunnels, though.
