If I wanted to include something for your fluffball, what would be good, and what should I stay away from? Would homemade treats be something you'd like for your dog/cat? Tenou loves toys, he'll tear apart a stuffed toy, but that's part of the fun. He does like treats though, but please the more natural the better. He loves homemade treats. The cats don't really get toys because Tenou steals them.

If you get a long weekend this weekend... what are you doing with it? Staying in? Going out? Family? Friends? If you don't get a long weekend, are you OK with that, or a little sad? (If you are Canadian, apply this to last weekend). I spent it with my parents, and Saturday was spent with my grandmum and cousins. I was a little sad my husband couldn't come, but that happens when you work weekends.

 

Would you be interested in getting a kombucha starter and instructions on how to use it to easily make your own fermented, probiotic tea drink? Yes, I really would.

DEAR FIBER AND YARN PEOPLE: I am going back to Paradise Fibers today. They have like almost every type of fiber roving and dye and stuff available. If you're a spinner and have any fiber wishes, what would you like? Dyed or natural? Do you need dye? colors? brand? Since this is from earlier in the week, it's probably no good to answer about PF, BUT, I love lace weight yarn, and sport weight yarn, and I'd love to try spinning, though I really have no idea how to do it.

If you knit/crochet, what sizes of needles do you need? I need some long ass circulars for this big ass project, that one day I will have all the yarn for and start. I could also use a set of interchangeable circulars, with the different sized cables and different sized needles. I prefer knitting with metal needles (nickle plated or whatever, I just have a really hard tension and metal slides better)

 

What styles of artwork do you like? Art Nouveau, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, my Deviantart favourites also has some ideas for you.

When you are having a really rough day, what do you like to do/have to make it a little brighter? a treat, icecream or cookies (especially homemade) a bit of good chocolate (vosges is awesome) tea, I have a wide taste in teas, a cheesy smutty romance novel, Sailor Moon (manga, anime or PGSM live action) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! A really good homecooked meal, either comfort food or something fantastic.

 

Would you like if your witch sent a regional pop/soda? If so, what type (Root beer, creme soda, cola, citrus-flavored, chocolate-flavored, etc...)? no thanks, I don't drink pop, I don't like the carbonation.

Is there a Quote that resonates with you, or that you particularly like a lot. Would this be something you would like artwork made of for your walls or a shirt/bag/scarf? "You find someone to carry you" was etched onto our wedding cake cutting set. The whole quote is:

Also, I'd kinda love a scarf or shirt with "tsukini kawatte oshiokiyo!" either in romanji or Kanji/hirigana. This can also work for anything my witch would like to knit or crochet or whatever, since I know there was a question about that but I seem to have lost it.

 

Also, STARBUCKS, Yay or Nay? Anything you particularly like? I work at Starbucks, so I don't need anything unless you have a very cool CITY mug, I kinda collect those.

What question do you hate to answer? Like someone mentioned in the thread, answering the "How are you" is something I don't like very much mainly because most people asking don't really care, and it's become almost a greeting anymore. There is probably something else that I just can't think of right now.

 

Is there someone on the forums (within SW or not) who knows you really well and might be able to help with stalking? Um, I talk with Fright a lot, and Skyelyric has had me as a swap partner a few times, I'm also chatting with Venneh a lot lately.

If you happen to find out who yours is, how much would it bother you? Nope! I'm usually trying to figure it out anyway, I do like the end of round reveal though.

Do you use waxmelts or tarts? If so, which ones do you prefer? I want to say yes, but I just don't burn them a lot. We don't really use scented products around the house, if my house stinks, we open a window LOL.

 

Do you enjoy drinking hot chocolate, and would you like stuff to make it with, or to add to it? I do like it, but rarely drink it. If my witch were to find a make from scratch recipe that they could alter that would be awesome.

 

Have you ever tried Spoonfudge? Would you enjoy it if your Witch would send you some? Which of the flavors would you like? Never heard of it, not big on fudge to be honest.

 

What's your opinion on Moonalisa? Any favorites or products you'd like to try? Never heard of this either! If they have bubbling scrubs (like tarty's sorbetto) I'd be interested in trying, but I don't really need another bath and body shop to shop at.

 

Are there any BPALs that you loved the idea of, the imagery - whether artwork or description - but which didn't work out for you? (I'm asking because if they did, you might mention them elsewhere, but if not, the imagery might be helpful) The Weenie spiders from last year, I believe every one had a note of death for me. I was especially sad about Orb Weaver Spider. Also, the Halloween: City scents, I loved the idea, but none worked, or they had a note of death.

What style is your sense of humour? We're very punny in this apartment, my husband is horrible with it. I love Family Guy and Seth McFarlan, and really find his brand of social commentary humour funny.

Do you like tarot cards, pendulums and rune stones etc? If so, what type? Yep! I love tarot cards, and would love to find or even make, a sailor moon deck at some point. There was a buffy set that I prepaid for and it was never released, I had a huge sad. I'm not so good with Runes. I also like oracle cards, or goddess cards. I have a bunch, if this is something you're interested in doing for me, let me know and I can write down what I have.

My friend brought back these black current candies, they were kinda hard, kinda gummy, they were fantastic. I think they're Swedish or uh, the country IKEA is from since I'm having the biggest brain fart EVER right now...

 

Do you like bags? If so, what type (rucksack, clutch, shopping bag) colour and would you like/need a new one? Love bags, prefer something with a long enough strap/s to go over my shoulder, but not long enough to go across my body. zippered or not, pockets or not. For the longest time I was using a tote bag as a purse. (stopped only because I got tired of it.)

What's your favourite comfort food(snack or candy etc) and/or drink? TEA. and something salty sweet.

Would you be interested in someone writing out for you a favourite recipe, or finding or devising one which they think you'd like? If so, please provide your favourite ingredients, info on how you like to cook/store and use food, and any intolerances - unless all of these are in your questionnaire, or you don't like the idea. (I'm not saying I'd definitely do this, unless someone is keen, and it wouldn't be the only gift). I guess for other witches this might include something like a knitting pattern - not my thing but would you like that? Or indeed would you like a picture created for you (if so what kind) or a story written? (sorry if this feels a bit Spanish Inquisition!) All of these are amazing. If my witch want's to do something like this, I'm completely open to it. we're good with pretty much anything, no intolerances.

 

If you knew you were going to live comfortably for say 800 years, what profession, calling or project might you pursue with some of your extra years, which you imagine you may not do in the life that you have? I've been thinking about this one a lot and I just can't come up with anything... Sorry!

 

Is there any thing - an object, a donation on your behalf, some research done for you, whatever - that your witch could do about this that you would like? And if you can't think of a present, would you rather she/he (I!) didn't either and confined themselves to things you are already involved in? I don't think so.

 

What colors/style is your kitchen decor? And do you entertain in your home? Apartment rental cream/white. LOL! I wanted to do a burnt orange and avocado green theme in my kitchen, but it never took off.

Do you like stuffies/stuffed animals/art doll type thingies? If so, any particular type you'd love to get? We have a ton right now, seriously they were not kidding when they said having a kid makes them multiply tenfold. Though, if it were to be an Amigurumi I would LOVE it! (Especially Leon or Donna or Usagi or Sansa or the Hound or a crow or or or...)

 

Switch Witch is, of course, all about you.....but if your Witch was so inclined, are there wee little ones in your home that will get jealous and are just too young to understand why you won't share the love, who maybe need a touch of Witchee love all their own, to distract them while you hide all your lovelies?!? I have a tiny bug, she's 9 months, and she's getting in to EVERYTHING. My witch doesn't have to send anything for her, but if she wants to that would be lovely.

 

Do you read literature/culture blogs or websites of any kind? I'm thinking about anything that would help a putative witch to get a sense of what your current tastes in books, movies, games, genres, approaches to culture and literature and so forth are Kinda? I don't really read them on a regular basis, but I like The Mary Sue, Mommyish, and there's another geeky blog I follow sometimes, but again, brain fart...

How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)? They're cool, but we have a lot of lunch bags and grocery shopping bags we could use.

 

If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average? I do have a kid, and I know a bunch of people my age, and some have kids and some do not. I'm rather quiet and awkward, and fairly geeky, but I don't know how I would be really different.

 

Haus of Gloi did a Reverie update! Do any of them interest you? (Or anything else up currently?) Don't really buy Haus of Gloi. Might be interested in trying their scrubs though.

 

Witchee, do you cook? Do you do all the cooking? Is it a chore or a pleasure? love cooking, can be both, and lately, sadly, we've done a lot of eating out. This needs to change. I really want to figure out the best way to do a meal plan for the week, so that I cook more.

If you were to start learning something new (intellectual or craft or hobby), what would it be? Chainmaile! I want to start, so so so bad! Or Crochet. A former witch got me some yarn and a hook and gave me instructions and I totally failed. Or spinning yarn.

What about candy? Do you have a sweet tooth? Yes, ish. I love Turkish Delight, and specialty odd flavoured chocolates or truffles, I love Vosges, just wish it was cheaper!

Do you have an e-reader? What kind? Would you like to get ebooks? I do, but no thank you.

If your witch is an extremely crafty sort, and she were to send all kinds of homemade foody goodies and handmade crafty stuff - what are items you would NOT LOVE to receive. Please dont hedge on this one...some of us are serious crafters and will be making most of what we send! Uh, I think honestly if my witch were to read my ?aire, and through my questions and take a look at my etsy wishlist, they could have a fairly good idea of what I like. I love foods of all kinds. And I would love anything my witch put time and effort and love into.

 

Witchee dear, do you like video games? Are there any you want to play? Do you have a large library? I play mostly Mario games, I have a couple for the Wii, or getting Wii (canadian!) points would be cool to get some of the previous Nintendo games.

Do you have something you do, without fail, as a personal daily habit/ritual? (Examples: pen-and-paper journal keeping, tea/coffee drinking, morning yoga, nightly bedtime reading. I'm kind of thinking on things that would be dear to you and might need small supplies or could use certain extras. ) Tea. I'm really trying to get into drinking tea so I can use up my stash, but I always love more! Other than that, uh, nothing really.

 

Do you wear nailpolish? What colors do you tend to go for? What are your favorite brands? Are you open to trying indie brands? Love nail polish! I have quite a few examples of what I like on my Etsy Favourites.

Have you ever tried anything from Paintbox Soapworks? Which products or scents would you prefer? I love her Sorbettos. They are my favourite. I love her The Natural scent, and the Avast, and the Cotton candy one (name is escaping me) I like fruity or foodie scents.

 

Do you like/have space to garden? If so, what do you grow? I'm planning on planting some Dill, Thyme, Basil, Mint and Catnip on my balcony. I'd love seeds of any of these, or a little in home garden kit of some sort.

Do you like sample sized things? Think lipgloss, mascara, bodylotion, scrubs, mini candles, and so forth. Love little samples of body lotion or scrubs.

 

Have you tried Fortune Cookie Soap? What products or scents would you like? I have not, but I'm always up to try new sugar scrubs. (even if I don't need a new place to shop from)

Do you use solid soaps at all? If so, what kind do or don't you like? I use them to wash my hands in the bathroom, and I have a ton at the moment.

 

Have you ever tried Cocoa Pink? If you are curious about it, what looks interesting to you? Never tried it, would try a scrub.

Do you like Lush? If so, what is your favorite product that is currently available, also, what is a product that you love but has been discontinued? I actually boycott Lush.

 

Anyone a fan of Shiro Cosmetics? Any particular products? Eye shadow pigments in general? Never heard of this either, but I'm really interested in trying mineral eyeshadows and makeups. My eyes are green, and my hair is henna, I tend to wear golds, browns, purples and sometimes greens.

Are there any companies, products, or items you boycott?Lush, a bunch of restaurants, (Actually I really try to avoid chain restaurants anymore) I'm really trying hard to Actively boycott Nestle, but dear gods they own a lot.

I'm not really on facebook except to catch up with my friends or post statuses. I have a few pages that I follow, but most of them end up not showing up in my feed.

How much do you like lipbalm? Flavored or unflavored? What are your favorite brands and flavors? I love it. But I've found my favourite brand, and I don't want anything else. I love Long Winter Farms (found on Etsy) lip balm. I have a few, could always use more, and I'm open to anything.

Do you like and wear lipgloss? If yes, what colours? Nah, I find lipgloss to be too sticky. I stick with lip balm.

 

For those of you whose wishlists contain only BPALs, are there any other perfume companies you like or would like to try out? I've tried others, but honestly I prefer BPAL.

Your feelings on Adagio teas: If you've never had anything from them, would you be open to trying them? If you HAVE had them and like them, name some favorites blends. And if you had them and dislike them, can you name a few *other* tea companies you're into? Yes, Yes, a thousand times yes. I talk with Vennah a lot about Adagio and she's my friend on their website, she could give you insight into my tea preferences.

 

What about coffee? Would you like to get coffee send to you? Whole bean or ground? What are some varieties and/or flavors you enjoy No coffee thank you.

 

Who is your favourite female of all time? Historical, literary, ANYTHING, and why? I adore Elizabeth the first. I think she was just a kick ass woman, and honestly the first woman I really knew about in history that did anything other than sit and darn socks. I would love to learn more about her, or more about other kickass women in history. Humm, I wonder if there's a coursica course on that...

 

If you were a Disney princess you would be?: My husband says Pocahontas, but I really love Jasmine and Merida. I can see myself being Belle, I really love books, and my husband can be a beast sometimes

 

Would you like a seashell from Florida? I am odd with seashells, I would say yes, if it's a perfect shell, that's like a chonch or similar. I don't really like flat shells.

What craft project do you currently have on your docket or that you want to start? And that craft goodies would be welcome? I want to do some chainmaille, would love to get some Aluminum jump rings, and some rubber rings to start to try and learn.
