I have a whole cabinet dedicated to Adagio. I love Thai Chai and Cara’s Draco blend, though I’m always up to try something new!

Not a coffee drinker really, especially since my house went K-Cup.

I have no idea…none. Though I will say I’ve always liked the character of Sabriel from Garth Nix’s Abhorsen series.

Yes and no. Yes because awesome, no because I’m originally a West coast girl and I haven’t seen an ocean in a few years.

I’ve bought the paper and most of the paint, but not the mod podge to redo my dresser. I also keep meaning to draw more…oops. I’m pretty set on most crafting/art supplies, though I always love more ink brush pens and origami paper.

Not personally most of the time, but considering the streak of severe weather recently, I’m going to need more.

Hair sticks. Any color, but need some texture along the stick to keep it in my hair.

I love most shades of blue, though navy and royal my least favorites.

No, my kitchen is not that fancy.

I attempt too much as it is…but I’ve been debating making some quilts with my grandmother, even though I tend to be a klutz on the sewing machine.

Good chocolate is always a go. I tend to like Red Hot like candies and taffy as well on the odd occasion. Pralines are the best when I can get good ones.

I have an older Kindle named Kermie, and omg, yes ebooks!

 

If your witch is an extremely crafty sort, and she were to send all kinds of homemade foody goodies and handmade crafty stuff - what are items you would NOT LOVE to receive.

No earrings please. I tend to have to wear gold earrings a majority of the time to keep from infections. And no baked goods, I have too many pastry student friends!

 

Witchee dear, do you like video games? Are there any you want to play? Do you have a large library?

I love video games, but never have the time for them. As it is, I have a list of things I own that I haven’t played yet. Own a PS2, a Wii and my brother got an Ouya, and that’s about it as my computer is too old/temperamental to play anything on.

 

Do you have something you do, without fail, as a personal daily habit/ritual?

Currently, no.

I do when my nails behave. Love blues and dark greys, metallics (particularly silver) and mattes. I have way too many OPI minis and bottles. And yeah, sure, to indie brands!

I don’t think I’ve tried enough to answer this yet…ahh!

 

Do you still write real letters on nice stationary to people you like/love?

No, mostly because people have problems reading my handwriting unless I am painfully careful.

 

Have you ever tried anything from Paintbox Soapworks? Which products or scents would you prefer?

I have not! Soaps and scrubs are all that I’d use, so long as it isn’t floral (like florals for perfume, but not as soaps).

 

Do you like/have space to garden? If so, what do you grow?

Space, yes. Sunlight, not really. Time, nope. My lavender bush finally flowered this year, but it’s growing in all wonky shaped.

 

Do you like sample sized things? Think lipgloss, mascara, bodylotion, scrubs, mini candles, and so forth.

Yes. Even if I don’t use them at home, they are great for traveling!

 

Have you tried Fortune Cookie Soap? What products or scents would you like?

I have not! Upon looking, the hand sanitizer, body wash, and of the soaps, and body scrubs are al things I’d use. Again, no florals. Also adding here I don’t have a bath tub I can use.

 

Do you use solid soaps at all? If so, what kind do or don't you like?

I prefer them usually. I tend to have sensitive skin that can either be greasy or dry from day to day, so nothing too scented or that’s for one particular skin type or another.

 

Have you ever tried Cocoa Pink? If you are curious about it, what looks interesting to you?

I have not! Again, up for soaps and scrubs, and ooh! They have aluminum free deodorant! Always willing to try a new one!

 

Do you like Lush? If so, what is your favorite product that is currently available, also, what is a product that you love but has been discontinued?

I’ve only tried their deodorant, which was a no go for me personally. Willing to try other stuff though!

 

Are there any companies, products, or items you boycott?

Not outright, but there are a large number I try to avoid. Basically, anything that’s anti-LBGTQ*, have owners that are against the work force (looking at you Papa John’s), or have a recent history of animal or human cruelty tend to be avoided, among other things.

 

As I am in Japan, what sort of things would you like from there?

Anything pretty much! Though I’ve wanted to start collecting non-English copied of books, particularly Cooper’s The Dark Is Rising and Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book, if that helps anyone out there.

I tend not to be on FB that much anymore. I’ll check on friends, but I don’t really do the group/page thing much.

Not really. I tend to bounce around different sites/blogs every few months. Day of the Woman is one I tend to check up on though, even if I’m not really into horror movies…idk…

 

How do you feel about traditional picnics (namely the intimate table for two variety)? Old-fashioned basket or something more utilitarian (cooler/insulated bag)?

Meh. The idea is always wonderful, but the reality of allergies and making the basket up is not. However, individual bento box style thing? That might get used.

 

If you were put in a room with 100 random other people the same age and sex as you, from your country, in what way do you think you would be different from the average?

More introverted, much more upset by confrontations. My interests seem to be a slightly wider net than average too (which is why, ugh! Questions are HARD). Less fussy about my hair, though it’s probably longer than the average. I also think I’m a bit closer to my family than others my age, though I’m not at all interested in seeking out a partner right now, which I know is not the norm for my age group.

Witchee, do you cook? Do you do all the cooking? Is it a chore or a pleasure?

I cook for the family during the school days when I don’t work. While I sometimes enjoy it, with everyone in my family liking different things (including a vegetarian some of the time), planning what to cook and shop for becomes a chore. Though I will say, I really want to make gumbo again soon!

 

Which reading level do you prefer to read in YA or Adult? Or even both?

Both. Both are good! Though recent YA trends have left me cold.

 

What colors/style is your kitchen decor? And do you entertain in your home?

Kitchen needs major updating, but there’s been a movement to contemporary with dark woods, browns, and greens overall in that area. And apart from family, no entertaining here.

….yes…smaller is better, and I have been eyeing the LotR mini ones. I also have a small collection of large cat ones, though favorite is a tie between a raven that makes sounds and the soot ball from Spirited Away.

 

Switch Witch is, of course, all about you.....but if your Witch was so inclined, are there wee little ones in your home that will get jealous and are just too young to understand why you won't share the love, who maybe need a touch of Witchee love all their own, to distract them while you hide all your lovelies?!?

No little ones, not even ones that are not mine.

 

If you knew you were going to live comfortably for say 800 years, what profession, calling or project might you pursue with some of your extra years, which you imagine you may not do in the life that you have? Is there any thing - an object, a donation on your behalf, some research done for you, whatever - that your witch could do about this that you would like? And if you can't think of a present, would you rather she/he (I!) didn't either and confined themselves to things you are already involved in?

I would love to have my own kiln and do pottery of all sorts. It’s the only art I enjoy doing and find totally relaxing that I can’t do at home or on any sort of regular basis. However, going to ask my witch to keep to things I’m already involved in.

Yes, but I have an over abundance right now…

Jossverse of all flavors (particularly Buffy), Doctor Who, Sherlock, Game of Thrones/ASOIAF, LotR/Hobbit (both books and movies), Harry Potter (not so much the movies), anything Gaiman, Star Trek, Star Wars, Repo!, Muppets, and I like studio Ghibli’s movies, among other things…

Anytime I think something isn’t good, or I’m not happy with it (art, cloths, shoes, nails, hair, ect.), and a stranger compliment’s on it tends to be the best for me.

Pendulums and runes stones not so much, but I find different tarot card sets interesting, even if I’ve had bad experiences with a set in the past.

Bunches of different styles. Not so much of a fan of the streak of bad "satire" movies in recent years nor slapstick usually.

I refuse to try new U.S. Oreo flavors until they release m beloved Green Tea Ice Cream flavor here! (FYI it's a Chinese Oreo flavor.)

 

What do you love about summer?

As much as I complain about them (there's been way too many this year), I like severe thunderstorms...watching the lightening, running through heavy rain, ect.
