I am pretty much in love with these photos. The flowers are fireweed, I guess. I haven't found a good description for how they smell yet, but apparently they can be made into a lovely jelly with a citrusy flavor. Dried it's supposed to smell of citrus and berry. But I can't find anyone who describes the smell of the flower beyond "gentle, bright and perfumey"
