13 nights questions (updated 8/28/22)
1. Would you like anything from Paintbox Soapworks Halloween line? https://paintboxsoapworks.com/new-limited-edition/2022-weenie-collection/
Cathedral of pumpkins hair oil or sorbetto scrub, guy fawkes hair oil
2. Do you have any interest in Halloween or spooky squishmallows?
YES. I'm currently barred from buying anymore myself but I love them and absolutely need more halloweeny ones. My current collection is mainly cottagecore (mushroom, cat) and sea life but I'd love a bat, skeleton, ghost, anything halloweeny
3. Anything from Bath & Bodyworks Halloween Line?
my skin and nose typically hate B&B so i'll pass on this one, but if they have any cute non-scented things like decor i'd be in.
4. If I were to make you a set of arm warmers/ fingerless mitts, what color(s) & style? short and sturdy. I wore throught the palms of about 2 pairs of wool fingerless gloves last winter at work. wrist length works best but elbow would be fine too.
Options-
Long or short? prefer short but either
Solid - one fabric - I'd prefer solid over stripes but mostly because more seams equals more tear points or places to catch them on things like boxes.
Stripes- bands of colors sewn together- like fun black & red, black & purple etc. I currently have some nice cashmeres. Cashmere 👀👀👀 I love stripes for fun wear but realistically anything warm will end up at work
5. I'm going to Disneyworld in late September! I'll be going to all four parks and attending both the Not-So-Scary Halloween Bash and Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. Is there ANYTHING from Disney that you would like? Is there something you collect that perhaps you'd enjoy a Disney version of (tea, socks, enamel pins, plushies etc etc etc)???
Omg. I can't rememer what spooky things are actually disney properties any more but anything Nightmare before xmas or hocus pocus, I also love sleeping beauty, sword in the stone and I'm definitely on team Figment (I still have my dolls from when i went as a kid in the 80s/90s). I'm always down for more tea, mugs, plushies, I love pins but haven't figured out how to wear/display mine safely yet so the collection is just in a drawer atm. I'm probably good on socks/slippers.
6. I make lightweight, doll-like hairfalls out of things like silk ribbon and yarn. Would you like some, either to incorporate into your costume or just for personal year-round use? If so, name your colors, length and any fibers you could have an allergy to
sure! I'm always into everything greeen, esp warmer greens like avocado and leafy shades and i've been really into pastel rainbow lately as far as color ways. I don't have any costume in mind but it never hurts to have more stuff inthe cosplay wardrobe. Surprise me! no fiber allergies but i always prefer natural fibers to acrylic where possible.
so there are a lot of duplicate questions between here and the this is Halloween swap. I'm going to just update that blog with all questions from both from here on out for my own sanity. Sorry!
