 I know a lot of us are witchy and have deeply held beliefs about the materials we use as part of our practice. If you're one of those individuals, are there certain herbs, crystals, etc that you do not want to receive? 

I'm not witchy. 

 

When you have a distinct preference for one holiday over another, What are some cross over items that actually work for both?

I leave my Halloween decorations up forever, lol. But pumpkins, bats, cats, fall leaves, apples, all good for the whole fall season.

 

One question (that is actually several questions) -- Local honey? Infused/flavored honey? Local infused/flavored honey with Southwest notes (jalapeno, other pepper, mesquite, acacia)?

I have too much (local to me) honey already but infused honeys are fun! 

 

Would you enjoy spooky stationary?

I don't really use much stationary. 

 

Do you have any interest in spooky squishmallows?

I'm not opposed but I'm not a collector. 

 

Does anything from JiJi Knight spark your interest?

Yes! More the costume/witchy ones and less the goth or explicit.

Probably not! I watch a lot of Halloween shows but we don't really use DVDs anymore.

This is a tough one! I can handle things that are very spicy as long as they are also oily or tempered a bit with sweetness but "drier" spices are hard. I try to describe it as I want spiciness that sits on my tongue, not that gets caught in the back of my throat. So like Sichuan food I can eat VERY spicy (and give me all the Sichuan peppercorns, which are my absolutely favorite) but Indian food not so spicy. That said, I don't care for the flavor of reaper, scorpion, or ghost chilis because I think they all taste dusty and usually stick to habaneros because I actually like the taste. 

 

I make lightweight hairfalls- would you be interested in some? Either to incorporate into a costume or just for your own year-round use? If so, name your colors and preferred length, and if you have any fiber allergies you want me to take note of!

I don't think I would wear it, thanks anyway! 

 

I love making stickers!! If I could design you some stickers, what would you love to have? It could be halloween themed or not!

I've started weaving and one of the nice things about tapestry weaving is I can use relatively small amounts of yarn that would be waste for knitters or crocheters, and I can find ways to use almost anything.

Anything but peaches! The cardamom plum jam was SO DELICIOUS and you should send that to everyone. We ate it with roast duck.

My book wishlist is horribly outdated on Goodreads (sig) because I keep it mostly on Audible and there's no way to share it there. But Goodreads will do a good job of showing you the kinds of things I like to read and have read (I've recorded pretty much everything I've read since 2015, and a lot of what I read before that), and I'm open to anything.

Hello all, I have a question. I make things from old sweaters. If I were to make you a set of arm warmers/ fingerless mitts, what color(s) & style would you like? Options- Long or short? Solid - one fabric Stripes- bands of colors sewn together- like fun black & red, black & purple etc.  I currently have some nice cashmeres.

I would definitely be interested in a set of non-sheep's wool and I'm not at all picky about style or color, if that's an option, but otherwise no thanks!

Yes ribbons! I can use them for weaving if they're at least a couple feet long. I also wear them in my hair and add them to costumes.

Yes! I like rich berries, apples, or orange spice in the fall (nothing too "baked good" heavy - I definitely prefer fruit and spice scents and not vanilla/bready/cakey scents) and evergreen scents in the winter.

Oh definitely! I'd try anything but I especially like a good kitchen soap - something scrubby with coffee, etc. for after cutting garlic and so on.
