Free Online Star Trek and Star Wars Book Events!

Everyone is welcome! I’m delighted to announce a weekend of free online events celebrating two anthologies from Vernon Press, Star Trek: Essays Exploring the Final Frontier and Star Wars: Essays Exploring a Galaxy Far, Far Away, edited by Emily Strand and Yours Truly. We hope you’ll join us!

Official Star Wars Book Launch: September 9 at 12pm ET The official virtual book launch for Star Wars: Essays Exploring a Galaxy Far, Far Away will be hosted by the Digital Cultural Studies Cooperative on Saturday, September 9 at 12 Noon Eastern time. All are welcome to join! This is a FREE event, but registration is required for access. And join us for a special After Party with Signum University! Pub Night celebrating two out-of-this-world anthologies: September 10 at 6pm ET The Mythgard Institute at Signum University’s "Mythgard Miscellany" Pub Night will host a celebration of Amy and Emily’s two Vernon Press anthologies, Star Trek: Essays Exploring the Final Frontier and Star Wars: Essays Exploring a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Bring a beverage and join us for live discussion and Q&A on Sunday, September 10 at 6pm Eastern time. This is also a FREE event, but registration is required. The books are available for request from libraries, for purchase at major booksellers, and for purchase from the Vernon Press website, where the coupon code CFC10822213C4 provides a 24% discount on each volume.
