Switch Witch questions - answered!  Also check the 7 spooky nights blog for info.

would you like a scarf?  If so, colors, length, iwide or skinny?  Bulky yarn or thin and slinky??  Not so much.
How about some dishcloths, for the kitchen?  Or spa cloths for the bathroom?  If so, which?  Any particular colors??

Would you like any of Cat Coven's Halloween goods? It's her original artwork based on medieval art. (It's a limited edition of everything, so hopefully things arent sold out yet.)
Halloween is a lifestyle patch

Look at The Green Salmon's webpage The Green Salmon - do you fancy any of the teas, coffees etc? It's a favorite place for me to stop on the coast, and I'll take any excuse to drive to the ocean.  Their Earl Grey sounds really interesting. Irish Breakfast is a fave.

Is there anything you might want from Japan? Snacks (autumn flavors are out~), nerdy stuff, cute stuff anything! Crochet patterns that have symbols/ charts ( I realize the text will be Japanese but I can usually sort it out with the symbol chart). Exotic kit kats are nice ( esp if citrus is involved)but I don't eat a lot of candy. Interesting sauces or spices for noodles & tofu as long as it's vegetarian ( along with a recipe for how you use it.). Cute black cats

is there anything being removed from site or a virtual con scent you are interested in trying?  Further up this page is a Dragoncon scent question with names.

I was wondering whether Tim Tams in any incarnation would tempt my witchee. On the less sweet side, is there any other Australian things you might be tempted by. I've never tried Tim Tams , so I have no opinion there. I do collect rocks, minerals& fossils though & have nothing Australian. So if it's not too big or horrible to ship, I would love a rock or shiny pebble of something Australian.

Do you enjoy fanfic? I would be happy to write something for you, and/or read/comment upon/gush over thing(s) you've written, if that's something you'd enjoy... no thank you, not really me.

Would you appreciate rare TAL decant(s) in 1 mL amber roll-on bottle(s)? Sure as long as no musk, patch, or eucalyptus.

How do you feel about enamel pins?  If positively, which fandoms or topics would you like? I love pins & patches & have a wishlist for each in my etsy (link in sig file). As far as fandoms ( not in etsy) Star Trek ( Next Generation, Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks), Edgar Allen Poe, Time Team.

Also is there anything you would particularly like from the UK? I love Bird & Blend teas, but haven't  ordered in ages since paying more for the shipping than the tea.  Vicky's Spongecake, chocolate digestives, mocha chai, lady Lavender. Violet cream.  Loose tea is fine.

I always wanted to try Future Primitive. Choclatier, Owlett, or Grumpy Pumpkin soaps. Witch Cake lotion.

Would you be interested in any jewelry or other items made with tiny bones from this shop? There are some Halloween themed ones: https://www.tinybonesandthings.com/s/shop.
Nope, this is not me

If you like tea, is there anything you would like from Bird & Blend? https://www.birdandblendtea.com/
I love this company & wish they had a US location. Spiced Pumpkin Pie tea, or the pumpkin pie sticky Chai, chocolate digestives, dark chocolate chili chai, butter brew
I've had their Chrstmas theme teas, but not Halloween.

BloomChic - just discovered them - Take a look at the Halloween stuff, and tell me the link and the size of whatever thing you like!
Oh Wow, supercute things. Love these 3 best: the plaid halloween hanky skirt in purple, 3x
Moon Print Bell Sleeve Hanky Hem T-Shirt 3x
Crochet lace mesh bell sleeve hanky hem shirt, green 3x

Would you like anything from Trader Joe's? (Pumpkin products are, sadly, not in stores yet, but they will be during this round!). I love , not just all the pumpkin spice things, but also all the pumpkin/ squash based foods. This said, I have a TJs in my area and I do an annual perusing of the pumpkin stuff.

Do you have any Halloween traditions? I make a vegetarian autumn harvest feast. I celebrate Samhain. I attend a costumed literary themed bash that is a fundraiser for the Great Lakes Area Horror Writers. I celebrate the season.

What about Halloween-related fandoms? (ie. The Nightmare Before Christmas) Love Nightmare before Christmas. Ravens, Owls, Bats & Cats are fave motifs aside from Nightmare

non-U.S folks!!!  We always end up asking what we'd like from your exotic-to-us locales, but do you have any wishes for things from the States?
I'm a US girl who would be delighted to find fun things to send far, far away to you.

How do you feel about cherry things? Check out Cherry Republic and let me know if anything catches your eye! Cherry Black tea.

Similarly, are you into fancy flavors of olive oil or vinegar? Check out Fustini's and let me know if anything appeals! I love their Cinnamon  Pear- drizzled on baked pears.  Would love to try the Cranberry pear (I didn't know rose balsamic existed).

We also have an awesome store for jams and sauce, American Spoon which you should totally check out!  Rhubarb marmalade or Spiced Pearq

Would you like some locally sourced maple syrup? I just opened a bottle if grade B amber that will last  at least  6-8 months.

Finally, I live in a place known for fudge. Do you like it and/or are their flavors you particularly like? My favorite shop is Murdick's if you need to see a flavor list.  I love fudge, but I'm  diabetic so it does not represent "good choices".  This said, dark chocolate with walnuts, or maple walnut.

Anything from the IKEA Halloween store catch your witchy eye? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/campaigns/halloween/ the led wreath or little  black tree.  I love bare trees & branches. Also purple fairy lights.

https://wildsoulriver.com I own the Magical Nature Tarot and love the feel of the cards.  They have candles and teas and tinctures and books of the activist or witchy sort.  Anything you see that you'd like?  Conk out tea sounds wonderful as I have a hard time falling asleep.  The murder of crows tarot looks interesting, but I probably don't  need another deck.

I live near a Penzey's Spice https://www.penzeys.com

- do you cook?  Yes

- Do you want fancy schmancy spices or spice blends?  Always

- Do you have a favorite alternative source that you prefer and or recommend?  I have a penzeys nearby, so I'm  very familiar.  For example egads I am asking lots of Qs Curio Spice Co, Diaspora etc do ethically sourced spices.  If you have a line on spices & recipes for vegetarian Indian cooking ( beyond penzeys curry powder) that would be fun.  I've also become fascinated by flavored salts.  I have a red wine salt that is interesting.  Is there a flavored salt you like to use?

-  If you cook is there a type of cuisine you are interested in learning more about and would appreciate a starter pack of spices for that type of cooking?  I'm interested in learning vegetarian  Indian cooking

.

Colourpop's Haunted Mansion collection dropped today.

If you're interested in makeup or skin care, are you interested in anything from Colourpop?

https://colourpop.com/   I'm  not really into fancy makeup

Posie Teas-  these sound lovely: L'hiver Dégagé, Twice to tea, palace chai, royal wedding.  It's  always nice when I can have a cuppa that tastes like a fabulous dessert.

Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.) I love their Lavender Pumpkin soap, but have never tried the candle.  Their apple scents are nice too.

Are you into wax melts, candles, incense, room sprays, or none of the above?  Candles yes, wax melts no. Incense rarely, room sprays like bpal linen sprays ( omg TKO linen spray)

Would you like anything from Luvmilk's Monster Mash?  Did not see anything that grabbed me.

I dye yarn.  Are you a person who crafts with such?  What fiber, weights, and colors would tickle your fancy?  Would you rather have two different 100g skeins or enough of the same something for a bigger project?  Yes I am a yarn hoar.  Knitting & crochet both.  Hmm, what about 2 related skeins that play together?  Perhaps fae foresty autumn vibes where one is mostly greens with bits of leaf colors and the other has only a little green? As to fiber- wools,  superwash wool blends, a touch of something else?  Choose a yarn that you love how it takes the dye.

Provided my experiments work, would you be interested in a bar of homemade tallow soap?  I promise I will not send you anything particularly suspect, so this is entirely contingent upon my competence.  Sorry, Veggie girl has a squick reaction to tallow soap.

Do homemade caramels or shortbread tickle your fancy?  I do love shortbread.

because I’m a knitting kind of witch, would you appreciate a pair of hand knit socks. If yes, would you like them in a particular colour? Purples, greens. Shie size is 9.5.

What type of spooky season imagery do you like? (Ie. bats, ghosts, vintage Halloween, etc.) Ravens, Owls, bats, cats, Witches.  Vintage is cool.  Bare Trees in silhouette with a full moon.  Not into cutsey motifs.

Astrid's Autumn Line and Anniversary Tea Party just dropped.  Anything you want?

I've  never tried their scents, but these sound great:

Weaving Beneath the October Moon

Boysenberry & Pear Tartlet,

Pear Frangipane Tartlet

London Fog Tea

QUESTION: Homemade and preserved food goodies - Which of these things would you like my dear witchie? All are organic and grown or made by me.

  • sun-dried heirloom tomatoes yes!
  • dried ancho chile peppers - can be whole halves or ground into a delicious powder. Yes! Powder!
  • sugar-free candied pecans and walnuts or almonds how can you do the w/o sugar? Love to try.
  • gourmet quality fudge in many flavors (formerly from my ETSY shop which I had to close until I have my own home again) please give me an idea the kinds of flavors you like. My more popular ones are Penuche, Choc & PB, Pumpkin pie, Forest fruit (with cherries, blueberries and cranberries),
  • Yes to small piece of Forest fruit
  • dried italian plums (pitted)  yes!
  • sugar-free canned plum or logan berry jam. Berry please
  • freshly dried rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley individually or in combo. I have these in my own garden
  • almond flour baked goods (low carb, sugar free, and gluten free) - give me examples of savory and sweet things you'd like.  Savory crackers or sweet shortbread

Anything you want from my favorite local tea shop? www.fridaytea.com
Caramel apple black, pumpkin chai, & Nevermore sound good but Witches Brew sounds like an amazing treat.

How about from my skincare person? drjensbeautylab.com/ skin Zen eye cream might be good for me.

How about from my witchy Chandler? https://www.etsy.com/shop/TeresaLynnsSimpleLux
I'm just here for the Boos, All Hallows Eve, Vintage Halloween ( with the Witch & moon design)

It's also that time of year where I make handmade soap (usually with calendula infused olive oil, tallow, oatmeal and honey) and candles (feel free to specify color and size, I don't usually scent them, but I do have a clover and apple scent I've been wanting to play with). I can also annoint and dress candles with TALs and herbs. Any interest?
Tallow soap is not something I use.

I also grow herbs which can be culinary or magical. I'd be happy to prepare a smudge or dry some herbs for your enjoyment. I currently have oregano (yellow and standard), mugwort, thyme, sage (purple or garden), tea peppermint, chives, lovage, plantain, comfrey, raspberry leaf, and yarrow. I'm probably forgetting something.
What is done with raspberry leaf? Is it a tea?

I also make salves! My go to in an arnica, calendula and comfrey mix for healing wounds or chapped skin. This can also be used on pet paws. We do have barely enough time that I could do a custom infusion
Ooh arnica is good for bruises. Hubs bruises super easy & that might help.

Anything in the Paintbox Soapworks Halloween update looking good to you? https://paintboxsoapworks.com/new-limited-edition/2023-weenie-collection/
The bookbinders balm is amazing. As is the bath streusel. Cathedral of Pumpkins & Putney Rd are both nice scents.

If you have a furry friend living with you, what sort of treats do they like
I have furkids of the feline variety. They are catnip junkies who love all different toys. Any kind of toy will have a fan.
What is your feelings on seasonal mugs?  Yes or, no?  Too many in your house or bring them on??
A fun seasonal mug is always appreciated, especially one I can take to work.

Are your wishlists - Amazon, Etsy, etc - up to date, and if so, are they all linked somewhere that I can find them?
Those links are in my sig file on the forum

Do you have anything you use every day that you wouldnt mind getting more of? Tea! Candles.
 hand cream.

Anything you love or need to have from Adagio or Rishi teas? Not fond of Adagio. I have not tried Rishi but am totally up for it.

List here things you wish you would've added to your questionnaire .
Umm I really don't know what to say here. I've answered so many questions, I almost feel like I can't imagine anything that's not covered.

To answer the sticker question - sure, stickers are fun.  Nothing horror/gory.  Witchy, Halloween, mushrooms are current faves.

And now the rock question,  yes I love rocks/crystals/fossils & the like. We have a cabinet of all sorts of rock samples and small fossils.  I'm  especially fond of "hagstones", aka rocks or pebbles with a natural hole.

Weenies- I am crushed that there are no Dead Leaves this year.  I'll have to keep my eyes open when people are selling  any DL that don't have musk or heavy Patch.  And while I love BPAL bath oils, hard candy does not appeal.
Of the offerings, these are the most interesting to me:
Witches currant cakes - (I grow currants & gooseberries in my garden)
Halfway to Halloween
Halloween Cat
Slumber Ghoul
Pumpkin Spice Dark & Stormy (a favorite cocktail)
Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini

Still seeking a new lavender scent- my most treasured Knight in Shiny Armor is getting low.

ordering bulbs from https://oldhousegardens.com and was wondering if my witchee would like some.   This is a fantastic idea.  I love any kind of daffodils or anything from the woodland sprites collection.

Would you like something like "sock arms" if I find time to craft?  (Sometimes I make a pattern called Toast or Toasty {one has a thumb the other is just a tube} http://www.afriendtoknitwith.com/2008/09/toasttoasty.html.   here are other photos from my blog:  https://www.elkaknits.com/?p=845 )

-- If so what sort of colors?

I love fingerless mitts, with thumb prefered, dark shades of purple or green.

Witchee, what's your take on seasonal-themed Washi tape?  I love them, especially purple/ black/green ones

What about seasonal treats from Trader Joe's?  I have one local to me so I've  got this covered, thanks.

I make gluten-free biscotti this time of year, lemon and also cocoa varieties: does this sound good to you?  Sure.  When I have cookies, I like crispy ones to dunk in coffee or tea.

Would you like me to make a music mix for you? I kick it old school with a burned CD. If you're into this, name at least 3 to 5 genres of music you already love, or are interested to explore more of!  Sorry no.  I do not currently have a way to play cds.

f you are a person who appreciates tarot and oracle decks, do you have a strong preference about receiving new ones vs gently/barely used?

I think that I need to focus on getting better with the ones I have. I don't  want to start over with a new one right now.

Are you a Studio Ghibli fan, and if so, what are your feelings about fan made art featuring characters?

I enjoy the movies, but not sure about fan art- sorry.

Want anything from LUSH? Here's the link specifically to their Halloween drop (https://www.lush.com/us/en_us/c/halloween) BUT, feel free to peruse all of it.

Ahh, Lush, always addictive.  Here's  what caught my eye:  bubble lugosi bubble bar, Pumpkin crumble bubble bar, Pumpkin Spice bath bomb, Butterball, deep sleep, twilight bath bombs

Haus of gloi- fave products are pumpkin butter & bubble scrub
blood orange marshmallow
Hex
Pumpkin eater
In the perfume- vanilla pear punch & dark fruit tea. Curious about the lavender chocolate one but not sure.

Mutter museum- nah, not my thing

NEW QUESTION: If you are so inclined, do you want or need any natural items or ingredients for spellwork that could be collected from forests, ocean, fields or stream?  I also have access to oak gall ink and various other esoteric substances.

I am so inclined & I've been away from my spellcraft for a while- as you know sometimes life gets in the way.
I would love any things you would like to hunt for, find or otherwise collect. I do want to get back to my witchy self & this would encourage me.

NEW QUESTIONS:

*Are you a fan of the show Cobra Kai?
Nope
*Do you enjoy any of the scented items from Victoria's Secret? No. I'm not into their stuff

*Would you be interested in receiving a silver locket with papyrus and herbs inside, as a protective amulet?
Of course!

Anything of interest from Cellar Door? (They have candles and soaps.) I love their Lavender Pumpkin soap, but have never tried the candle.  Their apple scents are nice too.  Basic Witch is nice too.

From previous questions you've answered, I know a lot about the teas you'd like from specific places, but I want to know your more general tea preferences.   Black, green, white, rooibos, oolong, herbal?
      -  Japan is particularly big on their green tea and hojicha (roasted green tea), any interest?
      -  My partner has given me an extraordinary amount of rooibos from South Africa. It's amazing and I'd like to share, so would you like some?

For me the best option is black tea- flavored or straight up, loose or bagged. Please no Green or Rooibos.

despite being uk based I’m probably gonna have to make a torrid order because I fell in. Anything catch your eye while I’m doing it? The Bejeweled Bat barrette is cute
