Misk U smells DIVINE in the imp... but 2 minutes after putting it on it goes plastic on me and I had to run away and scrub and take it off... Sadly this luscious fragrance I can only use as a room scent.

I'm in severe lust with Noir and Queen of Spades. Can you BPAL queens recommend anything current that would be along these lines? I think I'm a purple girl.

which scents do you find similar to Old Morocco? (I'm also a fan of Kali, Wicked, Persephone, Old New Orleans, Snake Oil, Meagara, Noir and Black Widow... any suggestions?)

I agree. Wanted so much to like it (thanks SO much for the imp EvilKitten!!!) - but I smelled like I was dropped head first into a vat of butter, then rolled into a hazelnut coffee candle and topped with burnt gingerbread. Now don't get me wrong! I LOVE butter, hazelnuts, coffee, toffee, popcorn, and especially caramel and chocolate - but on my skin it was overwhelmingly sweet and cloying. Sigh. Swaptime with this one!!

Kali - first off - I HAD to get some. I agree with hypotherma that just the name made me scream.. I HAVE to HAVE THIS! First sniff - oh no... what is that? a sweet alcohol of some kind. Honeywine maybe. I can't wear this! So I let my husband sniff this. His first reaction, "wait, bring it back. hm. honey. and something dark. nice. Put it on." Of course I was going to anyway, but with him saying that I KNEW I'd be putting it on right then. Wet - the chocolate comes through, with the flowers behind it, like they are in a vase with honeywine instead of water. This really works on my skin (and my husband, unlike O which made both of us sick to our stomachs because it was too sweet on my skin.) Dry - the tobacco comes through a few minutes later and lends a nice grounding element to all the honey/flowers. All I can say is this really works for me. A full bodied, sexual smell that surrounds me like a beautiful and expensive stole. Not a cloak that covers, but a draping mahogany or burgandy velvet stole for a night at a dark crowded jazz club and naughty sex. THX Smartybunny!!! Another to add to my "must-have list".

from Randomness entry: Extra special enabler thanks to Kimmer who sent me.... MY VERY FIRST BPAL OIL EVER - which I received today and immediately put on... Noir. Beth, this is perfection. I'm in severe lust, and will rifle through my closet to find my 30's black/grey pencil skirt, and my fuzzy black sweater... will straighten my hair to Veronica Lake sleek, and will sniff myself all day. First Sniff: very smoky, maybe the cloves. Wet: Very light. lilies and cloves together. Not sure I'm going to like this as much as I'd hoped. Dry: on drydown, Divinity. Dark alleys, Double Indemnity... I feel beautiful, and just a little sinister. I could do something naughty if crossed. The glorious light jasmine/lily smell is around me and only I smell the dark clove/myrrh combination. So I feel alluring but dangerous, like a snapdragon. Wonderful. And so addictive. I wish there was more...

that's the feeling I need!

wow.. envy sounds like something I would LOVE! (note to self, gotta get an imp!) But is it too nice for my needed "gotta kick the hell out of myself and shut the world out" workout? I need Energy!!!

I need a kick-ass, take on the world, energy rush, uplifting, caught up in the workout madness oil to put on rright before I work out so that I can get all caught up in the scent and do my workout mindlessly... (can you tell I need to lose myself in it to make me want to work out?? ) Any suggestions?
