Chocolate + Snake Oil = Perfection. This is truly a delicious scent. It really lasts on me and has a nice throw as well...and I'm sure it will only get better with age. This one might be worth stockpiling.

This is such an interesting scent! Based on the description and even the other reviews, I wouldn't have expected this to be a very me scent at all. I'm glad I followed my instincts and ordered it anyway. First of all, it's absolutely gorgeous in the bottle. I passed it around to a few people at work to smell, and they fell in love with it too. I'm sorry I don't even know how to describe it. I just love it. It's not exactly what I would call feminine, but it made me feel very pretty and clean all day. Definitely a keeper!

This is very sharp and herbal when first applied. It dries down very quickly to a soft feminine scent. The rose is subtle and pretty and doesn't go all soapy on me, as it so often does. The blackberry is gorgeous and pretty much my favorite part of this scent. I reapplied this evening just to experience that blackberry stage again. Overall, I'm glad to have an imp of this, but don't need a whole bottle.

MVJBA: Summer Summoning Spectacular

This one actually smells very similar to Pancake Breakfast on me, although it smells much different in the bottle. I even checked the bottle at first to make sure I didn't put on the same one as yesterday. I did notice subtle differences throughout the day though. Something about it reminds me a bit of Sugar Skull. I think I like this one better than PB. It's more complex and sweet, but without people telling me I smell like food all day. -
Wow! This is pretty! I got this as a frimp and was a little worried about the patchouli. Maybe I like red patchouli or just the way it mixes with the orange, because I really loved the way those two noted blended in the crook of my elbow. On my wrists, it morphed into a really pretty vanilla with a nice amount of throw. I couldn't stop smelling myself. This is definitely going with me on my honeymoon at the end of the month, along with Bordello and Snake Oil.

This smells exactly like delicious pancakes in the bottle. On the skin, it was more of a sweet berry syrup scent. Two of my co-workers commented on this scent today. One said I smelled like food. The other asked if I smelled something sweet. When I told them it was a pancake scent, they were both like "yeah, that's what it is!"

Well, it's swampy and aquatic to be sure. I was also getting something sweet and pretty hovering just above my skin all day. Every time I tried to catch it by putting my nose to my wrist, it was just the swamp again. Very interesting...

In the bottle and on me, it's all tea, red musk, and mandarin. I'm sad that I don't really get any vanilla from this, though it is still a very pretty scent. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, it does have a very short wearlength. However, it's pretty enough that it's worth slathering. Glad to have a bottle.

This is very pretty, creamy, and light. I mostly smell lavender, honeyed milk, and a little bit of the carnation on the skin. I don't love this like I love Lilith Victoria(must order more!), but I do like this scent, and am glad to have a bottle.

I smell mostly soft, pretty lavender in the bottle. I happen to like lavender, so this isn't a problem for me at all. Wet on the skin, it smells like Dorian with lavender. After a while I can smell the Snake Oil as well. This scent is absolutely gorgeous. It's already one of my favorites. I'm usually not the kind of person that buys two bottles of anything, because I like variety and constantly trying new scents. However, I am sorely tempted to get an extra bottle of this...or at least order more to give as gifts. It's so beautiful, I can't stand the thought of losing access to more!

This one, like the rest of the pumpkins this year, starts out with the heavy buttery pumpkin note. However, that note fades almost immediately. Mostly, for the rest of the day I just smelled red musk, which is very pretty, but I'm not picking out any other notes...maybe the rose, but it's very subtle.

This is another pumpkin blend that's very buttery in the imp and stays buttery in my scent locket. It's much better on the skin. The buttery note fades away quickly and the scent morphs into what reminds me of cherry pie for some reason...cherry pie with pumpkin. I just can't wear it in my scent locket. I had to edit to mention this scent lasted all the way until this morning...and then smelled just like honey!

I smell buttery pumpkin in the imp, which settles down a lot when it dries. I can't really pick out any notes after that, especially not any from the description. I can somewhat see the Perversion comparison, but this blend is very foody to me. Overall, it's a sweet, pretty pumpkin blend that lasts all day!

I can definitely smell the coconut, pumpkin, and mango in this. The mango note is particularly pretty, especially wet on the skin. Over all though, this scent is a little too cloying for me. I normally like sweet scents, so I'm not sure what the problem is...maybe the way the pumpkin mixes with the other notes. Glad to have an imp, but don't need a bottle.

Yes, I waited to try this on the first day of Autumn, like a big dork. It smells like delicious warm apples in the bottle and wet on the skin. On dry down, it smells more like smoke, spices, and leaves, with the apples fading into the background. I had a slight allergic reaction to this scent on the crooks of my elbows. The redness went away pretty quickly, though, and it's fine on my wrists. I've even reapplied it to my wrists a couple of times, just because that initial apple stage is so pretty. This scent is simply beautiful! I can't stop smelling myself. We don't get much of a real Autumn in New Orleans, but now I can close my eyes and pretend...

I ordered an imp of this about a year ago, after reading it was a favorite, and also I love vanilla! I tried it back then and wasn't overly impressed. I just figured maybe it was a skin chemistry thing. Then I started coming across information that indicated Snake Oil is so much better aged. I tried it again about six months ago. I thought it was pretty, but still didn't do great things for me. Well, I tried it again last night...and let me just start by saying "wow!" and "unbelievable!" A year later, it is now an amazingly gorgeous scent on me. The vanilla blends beautifully with the spices. It has a really nice amount of throw and lasted all evening on me. I could smell that beautiful spicy vanilla all night and someone asked what I was wearing. I am now one of those who is very tempted to buy a bottle and squirrel it away for a couple of years. It's not as though I don't have enough other scents to keep me occupied meanwhile.

This smells very citrusy in the bottle. On the skin, the tea comes out, and I think I'm smelling the bamboo pulp as well. This is a very pretty scent with a nice amount of throw. I love tea and citrus blends, so I'm not surprised I love this. It feels like a warm weather scent, so I will probably wear it more in Spring and Summer.

I ordered this because I love the smell of angel's trumpets. However, I can't really pick out the angel's trumpets in this scent or any other notes really. It's just floral to me. It goes a little soapy on me, but at least it smells like a fancy, expensive soap. It's a pretty scent, but I don't know if I need a whole bottle. I think an imp would be plenty.

In the bottle, I smell that distinctive buttery pumpkin note along with sweet citrus. On the skin, it blends to form the scent of some type of delicious pumpkiny citrus dessert, like key lime pumpkin pie...if it doesn't exist, it should! When I slathered on more midday at work, the citrus notes really emerged, while the pumpkin stayed subtle, creamy and sweet in the background. This is truly an amazing pumpkin scent, definitely bottle worthy!

I'm generally wary of rose, as it tends to go all shrill and soapy on me. There are a few rose blends out there I love though, such as Bess and Eve, so I'm still willing to give them a try every once in a while. Also, I love honey and cream and I just had to have a scent called Katrina van Tassel. I'm so happy I went with my instincts on this one. The white rose is very soft and pretty and feminine. The honeyed cream smells sweet and delicious! I can't get over how much I love this. It really is a beautiful scent and one I will wear often.

This scent is very sweet, warm, and smoky on the skin. The apple note, which I love so much, is not particularly distinct here. I'm not complaining though, since it blends well with the other notes to create a very pretty autumn scent. It smells almost like chocolate in my scent locket, so I think it's interesting that others mentioned cocoa. To Autumn isn't exactly what I was expecting, but I'm really not disappointed. I'm so glad I bought a bottle!

This scent is absolutely gorgeous. It smells pretty much as described, like warm smoky apple cider with orange peels. Unfortunately, I had a total allergic reaction to it, probably cinnamon. The up side is, even after washing the red splotched areas of my skin where the oil was applied, the scent lasted all day! I will try it in a scent locket next time. It's too wonderful to let go!

I love, love, LOVE this scent! It actually reminds me of a cross between Sugar Skull, Bewitched, and strawberry Pop Rocks. The first thing I noticed in the bottle was the strawberry fizziness. My co-worker made the Pop Rocks comparison. It has a fair amount of throw and lasts pretty long on me, though I happily slathered more on midday, just to bask in the sweetness. This is definitely my favorite Halloweenie so far, besides Samhain, which I fell in love with last year. Mmm...candy...

This is all orange cakes in the bottle. The anise is present, but subtle. It smells delicious! Wet on the skin, it smells less cakey and more like intensely sweet, creamy orange. It dries down pretty quickly to a faint floral scent. I wish it lasted longer, but definitely worth slathering for that initial yummy orange stage! Also, this one has the cutest label ever!

Hellhound is definitely very boozy in the bottle and somewhat on the skin, though it mellows a little. The bourbon vanilla, the note that really sold me on this in the first place, is very nice. I usually don't wear masculine scents like this, but I have to say I really like it! I'm glad I ordered it, even if it was just for the name...and because I suspected the bottle art would be adorable, and it is!
