    Arachne

WOW! Is my nose off! I don't smell gossamer anything... Wet: grape and bubble gum with a sharp sniff like pine. Hmmm. Dry-down: sweet, like bubble gum but with the clean, sharp soapy scent. Really odd and intriguing!

    Oisin

I tried Oisin by default-when I opened the imp, it splashed on me. Wet: strong! mostly musk/white musk and some green smell. dry down: mmmm. I love the way it smells on me-very strong musk with an undertone of sweet. I would wear it in the winter-too strong for summer. If it was a guy I'd tackle it, rub my face in it, then love it all over. A great, great scent. Masculine, but I like it too!

    Wolf's Heart

On first sniff-eh. Mild. maybe cinnamon? wet- soft sweet cinnamon. This'll go away in no time. dry down-soft but stays, cannot describe except it would work on a man or woman. then I went to class and had a surprise critique on my final project in Printmaking-I had to TALK about my project and field questions and listen to criticism(!) And I did GREAT!! I actually got applause! And I am NOT a talker! Was it the Wolf's Heart that strengthened me? Hours later I can still smell softly, the cinnamony sweet but not too sweet. This is a keeper.

    London

Venerable Victorian Tea Rose… twisted, blackened and emboldened with wickedness. In St. Charles, Missouri there is a place called The British Shop. The place is chocka block with British food, tea, candies, soaps, and perfumes. Plus the place is very old-the building is from the 1800's. So when you walk in, you are awash in the most delectable smell. Roses, powder, sweets, violets, orange blossoms, lavender, sandalwood, tea, woolens, cookies with ginger and lemon, dust and old wooden floors. I have spent hours in there, just inhaling and browsing. I have sniffed every scent bottle in the place and never tracked down the precise scent. When I asked the owner of the source of the terrific smell, she told me it was a combo of the goods in the shop. Elizabeth, Lab, congratulations on capturing the uncapturable-the scent of a British shop on a cold November day. I'll be buying a vat of this. In bottle: roses, tea, violets, rain, dust. wet: sharp roses dry down: the fabulous smell stayed on me for about 3 hours. It smells-dry-like the bottle scent. Predominantly rose, but also powder, sandalwood, violets, and dusty books. In a good way. Words cannot begin to describe what this aroma means to me. I had a past life in Britain and I kept getting teary eyed when I'd catch a sniff of the scent.

    Katharina

My grandma's name was Katrzyna (Polish) so I had to see what this was. In Bottle: carbonated lemonade! With vanilla! Wet On skin-really fruity sweet lemon. And musk? dry down-I normally hate fruit scents but this one is different. Now it's sweet musk, with vanilla and patchouli.

    Vixen

I checked my imp again to make sure I had Vixen... In bottle, and wet on skin-cherry cola/sweet musk. Dries down into a very sweet musk that fades on me after 2 hours. Will try again and maybe re-review. I want to like it!

    Samhain

Powerful autumn smell. It you scooped up the fall, the leaves, the air, the crisp, the tinge of sweetness left over from summer, you'd have this. I would only wear this in cool weather. On me, it would be too strong in the spring/summer. In bottle: warm honey, burning leaves, soapy undertone (in a good way) wet:pow! crisp, like a good man's scent but warm and buttery sweet. Sweet roll? dry down: mmmm. settles into rich, warm, chrysanthemum/apple/honey/can't place it, maybe citrus soap? A teensy bit bitter, too. Definitely intriguing.

    Oberon

OBERON! I'm ordering a vat tonight! I lost my BPAL virginity today-wearing oberon to school. I put it on at 8am and now, at 9pm it's going strong!!! FIRST SNIFF- Citrus and musk-who knew they'd be magic together? DRYDOWN-musk but not. Sensuous...spicy musk. 12 HOURS LATER-mmmmm. Musk, but light and fresh. ON CLOTHES-much lemony-er at first. Now, gentle musk I need to edit to add: a great, great scent. I plan on a 10 ml. soon. I never want to be without it ever. There has to be some magic in it. Every time I wear it in public, I am treated "better"-people smile at me more, pay attention to me more. I wore it to a function where I had to get people to pay their membership dues-a rough job usually. I got-easily-DOUBLE the positive response. This AM I could still smell it-softly-while showering. A massive YAY!

    Thanatopsis

Thanatopsis- At first-eek! Very masculine pine/herb/dark musk. Do I smell formaldehyde? Drydown- Still heavy, sharp, but intriguing. Something sweet like an undercurrent of babypowder. Definitely mellowing. Herbs, medicine, pine, but softened with musk. A guy scent but I'll wear it this winter

    Snake Oil

Snake Oil- The top notes are sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Then a spice/musk smell. STRONG! Masculine but not (all that brown sugar smell) After drydown- I keep sniffing it. More masculine spicy notes on me, with vanilla and...cocoanut on top? A really odd scent for me, but I plan to wear it this winter. For me, it's a fall/winter smell-heavy.
