i wear the bath oil on my skin like i would a regular oil. i like the bath oil the best of this trio and bring it out regularly every late summer/fall. it's apple-y and carmel-y with some other greenish-smelling stuff in there and just seems to be exactly what i want for days when the weather is finally cooling down.

I really like this one. I like Kill-Devil, and it reminds me of this, but Kill-Devil has a tendency to go all wonky on me after a few hours, but this does not. It's so similar to Kill-Devil on me but without any of that strange off-smell at the finish that I think I will be replacing my Kill-Devil with this. It's how I want Kill-Devil to smell on me all the time. I love this one and will order a bottle.

It went soapy on me, too. I was so disappointed. I LOVE the smell of bird seed and from the description, this is what I expected - that sweet, seedy freshness. Instead I got something kind of perfumey or soapy. I loved the name and wished this would have worked for me. I was sad...

I never tried this the first time around, probably because I was poor and broke all the time. Now I'm still kind of poor and the timing is bad for my budget but must.have.moar. The labdanum is my must-have note and this, on me, is like a light version of labdanum, if such a thing can exist. So wonderful.

This has my beloved labdanum, which is an automatic must for me. It also has patchouli and something woody in it, too. There is no way this could go wrong. An automatic 5 ml for me. I love it.

Huh. This is one of the few honeys I've tried that actually behaves itself on me, stays sweet and I don't get the Froot Loop thing or the lemony thing. I'm contemplating a full bottle of this because I've been trying to find a decent, sweet honey.

I don't get minty, I don't get pine or cedar. I get something vaguely sweet with a very subtle undercurrent of skin musk, which is the first musk ever that I didn't want to gag from. I LOVE this. I bought 2 bottles immediately. It smells sweet on me, not foody in any way, but still sweet, like a sweet cousin of Hellhound. It's wonderful.

Well, I dunno what's wrong with me on this. I get BABY POWDER. Nothing else. No honey, nothing sweet, nothing I even LIKE. I'm so disappointed.

This sounded so wonderful, I ordered TWO. When it arrived, I was so excited. Twigs and wind and smoke, how could it get better than that? I put it on. I get flowers. WTF??!?!? Flowers?!?!?!?! I put it in the back of my box, a dark, undisturbed place. I'm about ready to take it out and see what happened.

I so wanted to love this. Birdseed smells delightful to me, so I grabbed a bottle of this right away. But instead of getting that sweet, seedy smell, I get something soapy. I'm very disappointed... I gave it several chances, but I never get that smell of seeds...

I get something very cedar-y with Rat, and since I love cedar, I ordered a bottle. I may order a backup bottle before it goes away. I really like this one.

I get mostly the smoke in this, tempered and smoothed out by the beeswax and oil, but it's still mostly smoke and I totally love it and want a full bottle of it NOW! (*makes grabby hands*)

Amazing as it seems, even to me, I get compliments every time I wear Hastur. I thought it was too sour and strange for other people to like it (It's my very favorite one, tho!) but every time I put it on, somebody compliments me on it.

I don't get cinnamon at all. I get AMBER! And some woods and grasses in there somewhere, too. I love this one, that sour amber was instant win for me.

This smells like Demeter's "Thunderstorm" to me, which I LOVE. Wet earth, air, and water. LOVE

I may be the only one who thinks they are similar, but Kill-Devil reminds me of Mitzvah quite a bit.

This was a real surprise to me. It was a frimp in an order, and I always at least open and sniff all my frimps. This one smelled interesting right away, so I put some on, and, wow, I loved it! When I read the description, I was so surprised, because I would never have tried it, dismissing it as "too foody", since I'm not a fan of foody stuff -- or I wasn't, I should say. This is sour and deep and I immediately ordered a bottle! I wear it pretty often because it has that deep, sour smell that I love, and to me it hardly seems foody at all.

I got this as a decant from the new Carnavals, and as soon as I smelled it in the imp, I knew I was going to need bottles ot this!! I totally love dark fragrances, and this one is no exception. It starts out on me with the wine-y, sourish smell (which I love) and dries down into a deep, sweet, sort of cedary, woody smokiness. It instantly made my favorites list. I'm going to have to stock up before CD goes away! October 2011 update I pulled this out last night and had forgotten how much I loved it and still do. It has aged very well and still has that soury-wine which I thought was labdanum until I looked at the description. To me it's smelling like patchouli and labdanum now, still my all time favorites. I am so glad I hoarded got a back up bottle of this!

I totally love this. One of my favorite RL fragrances is the smell of a pine forest after it rains. Slightly cold, slightly sour and woody. This, on me, is that smell in a bottle. The first time I tried it from an imp, I knew I would order a bottle - or 2 or 3! It's total love, my favorite of everything I have tried and the best of my loves. For me, this is complete, absolute total perfection. ADDED June 23: My favorite. My favorite smell in nature is a pine forest after it rains. It has a deep, sour kind of woody smell that I absolutely love. Hastur, to me, is this fragrance in a bottle. It was instant love the moment I tried it. What surprises me is that practically every time I wear it, I get compliments on it. I thought it was so deep and strange that it would really be a niche thing, but the reaction from other people really surprised me. The minute I smelled this, it was my favorite one.
