Wet: Pomegranate and myrrh. Smokey, and a tad bit sweet. Totally getting a pomegranate incense vibe, and I'm digging it. Dry: More myrrh than pomegranate now, still with the "pomegranate incense" vibe. Just.. less pom now. It's nice, but I wish the pomegranate had more staying power on me!

Wet: Cardamom! (Shock.) More cardamom than amber. Now, here's where I'm going to lose most of you - I also smell... bubblegum. Like, the powdered outside of bubblegum. Somehow, I smell that too. Did I have too much caffeine this morning? Dry: Okay, back to having a sane nose; no more bubblegum! However, most of the cardamom is gone, and I'm just getting a wallop of amber. It's nice, and I think most folks would have a hard time not enjoying this at least a little bit, but it doesn't stand out much among the rest of my collection.

Wet: I've re-read the notes multiple times, and I can't make sense of it, but... it smells like Coca Cola to me. With a slight dash of red musk. Dry: Yep. Coca Cola still. I'll be having some words with my.. skin.

Wet: Peaches and.. soap! Dry: Oh! No more soap! This smells like a light, crystalline peachy musk. Delicate. Pretty. Not what I expected, but I like it!

Two Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree Fear not: the hens triumph in the end. Feathery bourbon vanilla, Siamese red benzoin, petitgrain, vengeful red currant, and a drop of vetiver. Wet: Whoa! Hello, vetiver! Definitely more than “a drop”! Was not expecting that. Hoping that the other notes(ANY other notes) come through on the dry down. Dry: Nope, nope, nopity nope, I said nope nope nopity nope. Still all vetiver, all the time. What’s going on with my skin! Where are all those other amazing notes?! Disappointing. I’m really hoping the other notes come out with age, otherwise this will be off to my sales page. edit: retested this, and the vetiver has definitely calmed down some.

Wet: Roses, cherries and amber. Getting a strong baby powder scent going on as well. Dry: Roses and amber. Powdery as heck.
-
Wet: Spiced cookie with almond, rum, and orange peel. Yum. Dry: The spices have faded a bit, and I can't smell any orange peel anymore. The almond and rum are lighter than before, but overall this is just a lightly-spiced cookie scent now. It's not bad, but a bit mild for my taste.

2020 style! Wet: Buttery. Creamy. Spicy. Rum-y. Unfortunately also a little bit.. plasticky. Dry: Same as the wet stage.. but without the rum. instead of Hot Buttered Rum, it's Hot Buttered Plastic on me. Dangit.

Wet: SHARP gingerbread, strong on the spices and chestnuts. Dry: Less of the actual baked good gingerbread scent, it's mainly just a spicy nut party. (Don't google that.) You can tell it's still a gingerbread scent, but don't except it to be like Gingerbread Poppet, for example. This is more of a... gingerbread spiced nutty remix? Something like that.

Wet: Ooooo, fresh and sweet mandarins! Just on the border of becoming candy-like(which isn't a bad thing for me). Dry: Oh man. I think I kind of love this? It's a super sweet, juicy mandarin scent. It reminds me of something I'd eaten (or drank?) before, but I can't put my finger on it. TLDR; if you like sweet citrus scents, try this!

2020 style! Wet: Roses and snow. Sweeter than expected! Not getting much of a "fur" vibe just yet - it smells like a freshly cut rose laying in a pile of snow. Dry: Hm.... sweet, rose-scented baby powder and fur. .. at least the fur finally showed up? (If rose tends to work well on you, take this review with a grain of salt.)

Wet: POPCORN! Buttery popcorn is what hits me first, decently strong. The cranberries are coming through a little tart, but the popcorn is really shining here. Dry: The popcorn is very much stealing the show here (still). There's a tiny bit of cranberry that keeps poking its' head out, but I wish I was getting more. This is fun and unexpected. I like it!

Wet: A bright, citrus-y aquatic with smoke and stone. Dry: Mainly just a sweet aquatic now, not getting much of a smoke or stone type of note. While this is simple on me, I like that this isn't an aquatic that went the men's cologne route on me. It's nice! Not bottle-worthy, but hanging on to my decant.

2020 version! Wet: Good lord, HELLO JASMINE. HI THERE. You can smell the rose along with it, but it's mainly just a really intense jasmine. (Also throw in the slight scent of baby powder.) Dry: Ah. Floral baby powder. That's about right. If you skin enjoys rose and jasmine, you can pretty much ignore this review. Rose and jasmine typically don't work on me, but my curiosity got the best of me on this scent. Darn!

Wet: Chocolate cake with maraschino cherries! Stronger on the cherry scent than the chocolate. Really into this. Dry: This flipped - the chocolate cake scent is much stronger than the cherries now. The wet stage was excellent, and for that alone I'll keep my decant.
-
Wet: Unsurprisingly, lavender and white chocolate! Pretty close to a 50/50 split. This reminds me of a fancy chocolate bar. Dry: Dang, this actually smells better now! An incredibly creamy white chocolate and lavender scent. I'm getting the tiniest bit of madeline/cookie scent that wasn't there initially, but I think the white chocolate is overpowering it a bit. Really gorgeous, and I'll need a bottle of this.

Wet: Strong, extra spicy gingerbread and sandalwood. Dry: No bourbon vanilla or marshmallow butter still. Just a straight up spicy gingerbread scent on me. I like this scent, but I'm really missing that bourbon vanilla + marshmallow butter. Since I have a bottle of Gingerbread Poppet already, I think I'm good.

Wet: HUBBA HUBBA. Beeswax and chocolate. You're shocked, I know. Dry: I keep smelling this and can't decide on what's stronger - the chocolate or the beeswax. It really is close to a 50/50 split on my skin, and it's DELICIOUS smelling. Like beeswax? Like chocolate? This one's a winner!
-
Wet: Snow and herbal mint? Maybe like spearmint? No marshmallow to be found so far. Dry: Less minty now - just kind of a cold, herbal scent. (It smells like something I would use to open my sinuses - just a more mild version.) Still no marshmallow. Huge bummer for me, I was really looking forward to this one!
-
Wet: YUM. I'm getting a smorgasbord of vanilla scents thrown at my nose. I can pick out every note listed, which is pretty rare for me. (The vanilla cashmere is strongest to my nose, along with the honey dust.) Dry: The honey dust ends up being the strongest for me upon dry down, with the vanilla cashmere and goat's milk tied for second. It's a warm, vanilla-honey scent. I really like this, especially that "vanilla cashmere" note!

2020 version! Wet: In order from the strongest scent to the weakest, I'm getting - pine, snow, vanilla, and almond. Dry: The almond seems to have dropped off, so I'm left with a perfectly pleasant combination of pine, snow and vanilla. Fresh and chilly. I've tried different years of Snow White before, and for whatever reason, this one has been the most successful! (Past years have smelled like pine and plastic on me.)

Strong ozone! A little bit of that “dryer sheet”, but it’s not too bad. I don’t get any kind of plum throughout the stages here - just a good strong ozone with some musky vibes. Totally reminiscent of what you would smell outside after a thunderstorm.

Wet: The scent of fancy soap that's in an abandoned hotel bathroom. Dusty fancy soap, basically. Dry: Hm.. this just isn't working on me. Still fancy dusty hotel soap.

Wet: Lemongrass and musk! Dry: Really surprised by this - it smells identical to the wet stage, throw and all! Musky, bright lemongrass. For me, this is a good pick-me-up type of scent. A cousin of Embalming Fluid, maybe? Gives off that same type of vibe.
-
Wet: CHERR-AAAYYY. Cherry candy? It's basically one bright pop of CHERRAAYYYY right now. Dry: Not a cherry candy scent anymore - more like a light... cherry musk? Not sure what's giving off the musky vibe. Maybe it's the velvet wallpaper note? It's basically a subtle cherry scent on me, now. I like it, but I have other cherry scents I prefer.
