    Honeyed Apple

2020 version! Wet: Granny smith apple! A little extra sweetness that I'm safely assuming is due to the honey, but don't actually smell a honey note. Dry: While the throw on this has significantly lessened, I can smell the honey now! As a bonus, the apple scent stayed true and didn't turn to potpourri! I'll definitely hang on to my decant.

Please Scream Inside Your Pumpkin Patch

Note - I have some skin sensitivity with cinnamon blends, but didn't have any issues here. Wet: Cinnamon, right up my nose, with a little splatter of pumpkin. Dry: Pretty dang close to the wet stage, but I think my skin is amping the cinnamon a bit. There's an added sweetness here as well that wasn't present earlier, and the pumpkin is just sort of watching from backstage. It's a bit too strong on the cinnamon for me.

    Mischief Hair Gloss

First spray I get cinnamon and blood. Mostly cinnamon, backed by something dragon's blood-ish. When it dries, I'm getting the above plus carnation. So.. spicy blood hair gloss? No cotton candy, unfortunately.

Dead Leaves, Marshmallow, and Pistachio Cream

I'm so-so on the dead leaves note, but fuck if I don't love marshmallow and pistachio, so here we go... Wet: The dead leaves are giving me a bit of that cologne scent - that's what I smell instantly. I can faintly smell the pistachio and marshmallow, but they're there. (More of a vague nuttiness/sweetness than anything at this point, though.) Dry: The dead leaves/cologne are gone, and what's left of the pistachio and marshmallow are just as faint as the wet stage. I'll hold on to the decant, but probably won't be tempted to get a bottle.

    Endless Corridors

Wet: This smells like a room in an old, creaky, and (likely) haunted house after the candles were blown out. In literal terms - beeswax and smoke, with an almost dusty undertone. Dry: Oooo, stronger beeswax! Stronger, and sweeter. Lots of beeswax, and just a little smoke. The house doesn't seem so old and haunted anymore. Big bottle upgrade, maybe?

    Poisoned Apple Martini 2020

Oh self. Why do you keep torturing yourself with apple scents that never work on you? Wet: Apple hard candy? with the slightest hint of booze. Maybe the better description would be an apple jello shot? There's something sweet and candy-like(maybe the cranberry or maraschino cherry is contributing to that?), but also with booze. So.. probably something I would drink. Dry: Mother of god. This.. didn't turn to potpourri on me?! 99% of the time, I cannot wear apple out of fear of smelling like a cheap bowl of potpourri. (Thanks, skin. Really cool of you.) Something here prevented that from happening, though. Is it the booze? I will say the booze is more prominent now. It doesn't smell like candy anymore, but it's still definitely a sweet apple. I like this!

    Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Buns

Note to those with sensitivity to cinnamon - my skin did turn a little red where I applied this, but there was no burning to go along with it. Wet: Shockingly.. CINNAMON. Approximately hella cinnamon with a dash of pumpkin spice, and a LOT of throw. Dry: Still just a buttload of cinnamon with some pumpkin spice. It smells spot on to the wet stage, but nowhere near as potent. I'm really missing some kind, ANY kind of pastry note though. More of a cinnamon than cinnamon bun scent on me, unfortunately.

    Howling in Vain

Basmati rice and amber! Very “warm”. Kind of nutty? I wasn’t sure how much I’d go for a basmati rice note, but it’s quite pleasant. This gets a touch sweeter when it dries, but overall doesn’t seem to morph much on me.

Liquid Gold is in the Air

Wet: Sweet apples, honey and amber! (Apple tends to go the potpourri route on my skin, so my fingers are crossed right now...) Dry: The good news is, my skin didn't turn the apples to potpourri! The bad news is my skin more or less ate the entire scent and only left me with a trace of the orange blossom honey. Which smells a little soapy on me. .. How kind? 😐

    Honey Taffy Smut

Wet: Ohhhh this one is good. Dark sugary and extra musky honey. Me gusta. Dry: I totally get the "honey taffy" vibe now. There's a richness that wasn't present in the wet stage, that makes this smell even better than it did before! A rich honey version of smut, essentially. As someone who doesn't like OG Smut.. I think this one is a winner.

    Shelter-in-Tomb

Immediately getting sweet clove when I first spray this. After it dries, I’m kind of getting a sweet clove and incense type of scent.. that also smells clean? This one is making my brain hurt. I think I like it enough to keep my little decant, though.

Please Scream Inside Your Haunted House

Side note: I have some skin sensitivity with cinnamon blends, but didn't have any issues here. Wet: Echoing the previous reviews - sawdust and cinnamon toast. Dry: Cinnamon-dusted sawdust crunch. More of that cinnamon toast scent than sawdust now. If you're looking for a blend of wood and cinnamon.. look no further!

    Suck It

2020! (This year has an added note of sour apricot.) Wet: This smells like one of those fancy artisanal lollipops you can buy on Etsy. Black cherry lollipop, with a light splash of booze! Dry: Okay, this is better than the previous version I tried (2018), but it's still not bottle-worthy for me. Unlike 2018, this one didn't end up being nothing short of a booze blend. I can smell some booze and some black cherry, but there's also some kind of powder note here. The wet stage was AMAZING, but once again, the dry down isn't doing much for me. I think I'll keep the decant around though to mix in with some hair products. Eventually, this one will work. Damnit.

In Night When Colors All to Black Are Cast

2018 Weenie "When All Colors to Black Are Cast": Ink-black musk and dried blackberries, midnight opoponax and sweet labdanum. This scent: ink-black vegetal musk, opoponax, velvet myrrh, nagarmotha, black champa, labdanum, and plum honey. Some similar notes, for sure - the 2018 scent didn't work well on me, but I couldn't resist trying this one out. Wet: Sweetened myrrh; sweetened by the plum honey, maybe? There's some of the black musk in the background, but as long as it stays there, we're good. Dry: Myrrh is still the star of the show. 🎵It's been myrrh, all along!🎵 I really enjoy myrrh, but this is borderline single note myrrh on me + some added sweetness.

    Lollipop Smut

Wet: A musky, sweet lollipop! (It really does smell like a cherry Blow Pop plus musk - there's a hint of bubblegum.) Dry: Muskier than the wet stage. Now it's a muskier, sweet lollipop! A grown-up, adult lollipop, maybe?

    Stitched Together

I sprayed this before I checked the notes, and thought "brownie batter!" which I suppose isn't too far off. When it dries, the mint is there, but it's oh-so-light. It's... mainly just chocolate. I can't seem to find the green tea mochi either, which I was really looking forward to. I had my husband sniff my hair(without telling him what it was), and he said "chocolate!" Maybe my hair just amps chocolate. Maybe my husband's nose is just as broken as mine. I dunno, man.

For the Love of God, Poetricia

Hmmm... I’m really just getting a vague whiff of sweetness from this. I sprayed it in my hair before reading the notes, and I had no idea what it smelled like other than “sweet, without being cloying”. It’s just alright.

    Gloom Meeting

Oakmoss and sandalwood! Can’t seem to sniff out the vetiver... at all. This one isn’t much of a morpher; what I smell on initial spray vs. after it dries is the same. The oakmoss is absolutely on the sweet (and clean!) side, and it doesn’t seem to fade for a few hours.
  19. Piquant, tart, and strangely hypnotic. If you like your fruits deep, dark, and almost poisonous smelling, this is for you. The black currant is the strongest note I'm getting. There's something about this scent though that just isn't doing it for me. It almost smells like there's some black musk in here, with a slight bit of hairspray? Not my jam.

    It Was Just a Cat

Wet: Amber fur (a little powdery) and opoponax. If you get cola from opoponax like me.. you'll probably be smelling it here as well. Amber fur and... cola. Dry: Yep. Still cola and amber fur - but stronger cola now. A cat that had some coke spilled on it, maybe? It's not terrible, but it's a combination that just isn't working on me.

    Flickering Lights, Fluttering Curtains

Wet: Echoing basically everyone else here - this is a ghostly, haunted lace. Warm, sweet vanilla and cognac. (There's no linen note listed, and it may be my brain playing tricks on me.. but it smells like there's a linen note in here.) Dry: Oooo this is even better on the dry down. Warmer, and sweeter vanilla than before with cognac and.. I think chamomile? My brain is still smelling a linen note as well. Gorgeous. Bottle worthy.

    Sour Lemon Smut

Wet: LEMON SCENTED STICKY BAT WHAT UUUPPP. I'm not a fan of normal Smut, but couldn't resist trying a sour lemon version. I'm not getting ANY Smut here, just a bunch of sugary sour lemon goodness that reminds me of LSSB. (This is a little more sour, though.) Wet: Some Smut finally snuck in - but it's not bad. This is LSSB, with a dark musky note thrown in. I don't think I quite understand how I feel about this yet, but I keep going back to sniff it... so I must like it on some level.

    Pomegranate Sufganiyot

Wet: Pomegranate! Tart, rich, and sweet. The pastry note is there, but the pomegranate/red currant/cranberry mix is dominating. Dry: The dough comes out more now, but that fantastic (and slightly less-sweet but just as tart) pomegranate jelly mix is still leading the way. DELICIOUS, and decent throw on me! Fellow Sufganiyot lovers - you won't be disappointed! My sufganiyot ranking is now: Blueberry, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Fig & Cranberry, Raspberry, Blackcurrant.

    Pumpkin Pie Musk

Side note - I sometimes have skin sensitivity to cinnamon, and I didn't run into any issues with this blend. Wet: Pumpkin pie filling - heavy on the spices! I could go for some kind of crust/pastry note, but I can't find one yet. Dry: WHOA THERE. This is just a flat-out STRONG pumpkin spice scent now. (Still no crust note, sadly.) I don't think this is something I'll hang on to, but I'm glad I got to try it!

Please Scream Inside Your Snake Oil

Wet: This smells just like Snake Oil, with extra musk and vanilla! Dry: Yes. There it is. If Snake Oil was transformed into a baked good.. this is it. Right here. It's not necessarily reading as "funnel cake" to me, but pastry note? Yes. It's glorious, and I imagine it'll only get better with age.
