Interests
Of course, I love BPAL but some of my other interests are:
I love animals, and have three dogs. I am sort of a bookworm, I love to read. I go to the movies as often as possible, and also like to go hang out at my favorite bar and check out the live music on Saturday nights. Cooking is my favorite way to relax and my cookbook collection is ever-growing!
I'm also proud to be a member of the Brazos Valley Derby Girls and looking forward to the upcoming season! -

The intoxicating perfume of exotic incenses wafting on warm desert breezes. Arabian spices wind through a blend of warm musk, carnation, red sandalwood and cassia. I can't believe I haven't tried this until now! Morocco is very soft and faint on my skin, but ohmygosh it's lovely! Very sweet on my skin, with gentle spice, carnation, and a slight creaminess. Love it! I think this is a contender for a big bottle.

This is the pumpkin that appealed to me the most, as I love all of the notes in it...so I was very eager to try it. Wet: Pure pumpkin. buttery and yummy. Drydown: the myrrh pops out and then somehow...maple syrup? Not complaining though, I love the smell of syrup. Dry: After about 20 minutes the rest of the notes come out to play, and the end result is a smooth, syrupy yet not overly sweet scent with pumpkin and coconut dominating. I can still pick out the other notes. This is definitely going to be a big bottle purchase for me.

I thought I hated the smell of coffee...until Miskatonic University came into my life and proved me wrong! At first it is sweet irish coffe, and it's almost a *bit* overwhelming, but then the other notes comes out and calm the "whoa coffee" vibe down. I love the smell of old books, and this scent captures it perfectly, and if I sniff hard enough, I can smell the polished wood too. Much to my surprise, the boy liked this A LOT. He normally hates any kind of "foody" scent so I was happy that he told me I should get a bottle. I will definitely be picking up a bottle sometime in the future.

I can't believe I hadn't tried this until now. Athens was sitting there in my imp box, alone and unloved. Not anymore! Wet: Delicious sweet honey with a little bit of spice. Dry: Honeyed, spiced wine I really love this! Definitely planning on getting a bottle!

I love this! On me, Zarita is a creamy, spicy, and sweet floral. It is a little soapy but that doesn't bother me. I will definitely be getting a bottle soon!

Wow! This is some good stuff. I'm a definite "foodie" so this is a perfect scent for me. It's a very thick, rich toffee scent full of lots of other yummy things. Not something I think I could wear every day, but perfect for those days when I want to smell completely edible.

On me, this starts out as something dark, herbal, and spicy. It dries down to an resinous blend with the Frankincense dominating. This is very interesting, normally I really don't care for Frankincense but this really isn't that bad. I don't see myself reaching for it that often, but I really do like it!

On me, Alice is very soapy. Nice soap, with a rich creamy lather...but soap all the same. It reminds me of something my mom used to use when I was little, but I can't recall the name. I guess it was not meant to be.

Forgive me, for I am not very good at describing notes but... When first applied, Eden smells milky, sharp and green. After it dries, Eden becomes a soft, toasty coconut that I really love. Coconut is one of my favorite notes, so I am really thinking about getting a bottle of this!

Mmmm...to me this is pure coconut suntan lotion. I LOVE the smell of suntan lotion and I am so mad that I have been talking myself out of buying bottles un-sniffed. Obatala will be a purchase for me in the future. I also think it's going to be perfect for enabling my friend...since she loves the smell of suntan lotion as well.

The scent of warm, glowing jack o’lanterns on a warm autumn night: true Halloween pumpkin, spiced with nutmeg, glowing peach and murky clove. On me, when Jack hits my skin it's all buttery pumpkin. Once it dries, the peach becomes the dominant note and I can only smell hints of pumpkin and clove when I take a long sniff. That's ok for me since I love love love peach...and I am kicking myself for not ordering a bottle of this straight away.

I am starting to suspect I may amp jasmine notes. It's pretty, but it's not really for me.

This is just rose at it's best. I think I might might try enabling my rose-loving friend by giving her the imp. ETA: Tried this again today and my bf loves it. I may have to hang onto the imp, because he is so hard to please, scent-wise.

Fae is the scent I reach for whenever I want to smell feminine and pretty. It's juicy, soft, and effervescent all at the same time. On me, peach is the star, with all the other notes making it something truly beautiful.

This instantly reminded both me and the bf of strawberry banana kool-aid. It's really sweet, but I like it...and so does he!
