    Morocco

This scent saddened me so much. I could smell the sandalwood, and the carnation, but it was so faint. And after a while, it just... it was gone. It disappeared. If it was stronger, just a little bit, I'd so totally wear this everywhere. But it's not, and I'm sad, because I think I'm missing out on something awesome.

    Eat Me

In the vial: Vanilla-ish, and I swear I can smell... I want to say, lemons, or perhaps a custard? Either way, it's desertful and it strongly reminds me of Midnight Kiss for some reason. I wanna say it's the currants. Wet: Caaaake. More cake, and more of that custardy smell. Maybe that's currants? Dry: It mellows out a bit, I think, but it's still there, going "Look at me, I'm cake!" Is... is it bad that I'm half tempted to lick my wrist? After a while: I want to say it's about the same, although for some reason a lot of scents tend to disappear on me, and this makes me sad. Overall: ...Hmm. It's a very interesting scent, but I'm not sure what I think yet. I kind of like it after a second test, but I'm worried that family members will find it too strong. I'll have to hold onto this one.

    La Belle Dame Sans Merci

The name translates to “the beautiful woman without mercy”, and is the title of an old French court poem that was later revamped by John Keats. A bewitching, seductive scent, rife with mystery and foreboding. Well, hrm. I do agree that in the bottle that it smells rather sharp, kinda like lilac and grass, to me. On my skin it's still sort of lilac-y, but it starts to mellow down. After it dries, it sort of smells like roses, still a little lilac-y, and a little bit of lemon. But right now I kind of like it, so I really don't mind. Granted, I'm not sure how long it lasts on me at the moment. (but then, I don't quite understand 'skin chemistry' yet, so bear with me.)
