I really enjoyed this - until about 10 minutes after I put it on and my throat started closing up. T_T On me, it was more spicy than sweet, and the amber was amazing. But something in it, I am definitely allergic to. Sad, as I have 2 bottles. Oh well; I guess it's off to swaps with my poor Leo.

To me, this smelled like a bit of Old Spice + leather. Very masculine, but also stereotypical. I have a friend who absolutely loves it, though. She says it's "spicy" and she likes it a lot. *shrug* To each his/her own, yeah?

I really liked this one at first. Blackberry tea? Yes, please! Unfortunately, in about 10 minutes, it went from being blackberry tea to being "toilet cleanser and cheap airfreshener." V. sad.

BPAL scents appropriate for very young children?
greymatter replied to beetiger's topic in Recommendations
Cutest topic EV4R. *waves to HG* My nephew is 6 and he has his BPAL l0ffs, too. 1. Tokyo Stomp - "Godzilla smells like cookies." 2. Jailbait 3. Chaos Theory DCLIX - "Smells like grass and baseball!" 4. Bengal 5. Bloody Mary He has other favorites, but those are the top 5. At least they were this weekend. I have a blue, Chinese silk imp case that I keep my favorites in for easy access on the go. He loves that thing. "Can this be mine for just today? I will be sooooo careful!" So I found him a similar case in red Chinese silk and we put some of his favorites in it. Thinking I had secured my to-go case again, I handed him his case. He grasped them both to his chest and looked up with rapture in his big, blue eyes: "Now I have TWO cases!" *headdesk* -
This one smells exactly like someone with death breath breathing in your face.

The red musk killed this one for me. It always smells greasy and dirty on me. I wanted to love it - spicy, musky love, it should have been, but alas: evil red musk!
-
I love almond and creamy scents, so I knew this would be love before I ever got it. I was so right. It's creamy, almondy, honey love.
-
This one was bitter, herbal and medicinal on me.
-
Stale black licorice candy. Made me sad. I wanted to love the green fairy.
-
All the voodoo-esque scents smell very similar to me - very strongly and bitterly herbal. I have yet to find one that works.

I think this has dragon's blood in it. DB on me always goes to old lady soap. It smelled like a combination of soap and potpourri in the most stereotypical grandma house you can imagine. Sad. I really wanted to like this one.

I can't comment on the scent of this. It just gave me a blazing migraine from hell. I can't remember what it smelled like, but I'm afraid to open the imp again and find out.

All I got was pencil shavings. No fun.
-
I just got butter and fake peach from this. Not a favorite. Kind of nauseating. But the girl I swapped it to loves it.
-
I love this. A light, clean mint that doesn't smell like old candy. It's refreshing and a nice option for a hot day. It does have an electric tinge to it. I don't know how Beth does it.

Chocolate. What more can I say? Though a friend of mine sniffed the vial and said she smelled crackers and peanuts. . . so I dunno.

All dryer sheets all the time. I was so sad. I wanted to smell like rain and electrically charged ozone . . .and I got dryer sheets.

I like this well enough, but I really have to be in the right mood to wear it. It's very formal and heavy and in general, I'm just not. It's sweet, but not cloying. It's pretty. I can understand its popularity. I wouldn't have sought it like mad, but I'm glad t have an imp.

A sweet little girl I know summed it up like this: "It smells like a pretty girl with flowers." Yup. I have to agree. It's a sweet floral. Not my thing, but nice enough.
-
I didn't really get funnel cake or anything like that from this. I got OMGSUGARDIABETICCOMA! Not my thing. I swapped it on to someone who really, really loves it, though.
-
This was probably among the first scents I tried. It gave me an inkling that Tintagel later confirmed: I don't wanna smell like anything even remotely leathery. It was very masculine and cologne-y on me, too, which I didn't care for at all.
-
I have the same problem with red musk that others have noticed. It turns plasticy and greasy on me. I wind up smelling like vasoline dipped band-aids. Only this time with a hint of plum.
-
In the imp, it smelled nice. Like a slightly alcoholic cocoa drink. On my skin, though, it was a different story. It turned into something sour and sharp and I just didn't care for it at all. Sad.

Sweet, spicy, orange-y tea. And a creamy note I can't quite place. Basically, I love this scent. I have 3 bottles and I'm trying to talk myself out of a 4th.

Just like 2007, this one was all rancid baby vomit on me. I thought I'd like it because I love the milky-goodness that is Dana O'Shee, but it was a severely bad no-go. I still have nightmares. . . ^_~
