i tried this once and it wasn't my thing...and i am SO glad i tried it again! FIRST SNIFF: Light spices WEARING IT: this smells exactly how beth describes it on the site. the vanilla really comes to life once it's on, but you still have the exotic scent of the indonesian oils to give it that "oomph." FINAL VERDICT: my boyfriend liked cordelia over this, he is obviously on crack. big bottle of this? yes, please

FIRST SNIFF: cinnamon, florals WEARING IT: cinnamon still, along with sweat (?) & heady florals. unfortunately, i don't smell any lilac, white cedar or green tea in this which is what i really wanted to smell. instead it turns into a sweaty, sour & soapy cinnamon/floral combo. FINAL VERDICT: really, really wanted to like this one (kevin really liked it) but it just didn't work with my skin

FIRST SNIFF: white tea and carnation WEARING IT: what a subtle, non-threatening scent! it's peaceful and radiant! the white tea and carnations take over and make this so beautiful and girly. maiden is a flowing, white gown turning in the wind of a summer storm. FINAL VERDICT: peaceful and delicate. a perfect scent

FIRST SNIFF: spiced tea & sweet roses WEARING IT: this is such an interesting and unique scent when wet. i didn't give it a fair shot at first so thought i'd give it another go. patchouli comes through more once it dries and then it turns into ivory soap and rose on me FINAL VERDICT: i'm still intriqued, but don't think i can wear this - i keep smelling that damn bar of ivory soap!

FIRST SNIFF: almonds, cherries, honey... WEARING IT: this is extremely bright and cheerful to me. very sweet, almost too sweet. as it dries something "yellow" seems to emerge and it gets less fruity and a bit more floral - maybe violet or jasmine? FINAL VERDICT: i think it's just a bit too sweet for me, so not one of my favourites.

FIRST SNIFF: decaying grass in a compost heap? WEARING IT: decaying grass in a compost heap with lilacs and violets decaying beside it. as it dries it becomes less of a decaying scent and similar to, but not as lovely as, morella. FINAL VERDICT: i'd rather buy morella

FIRST SNIFF: all honey WEARING IT: beeswax candles. i was so excited about this scent after hearing everyone raving about it - but alas honey and wax are all i smell. VERDICT: not my type of scent

FIRST SNIFF: oranges & musk WEARING IT: already i think this would smell SO much better on kevin than on me, but it's really a very pleasing scent. the orange is very dominant with musk & bergamot swirling around it. VERDICT: like it lots, but i hope kevin likes it more

FIRST SNIFF: very green, very clean - dandelion stems WEARING IT: very fresh in the same sense that kumiho is. beth threw this in as an extra imp and i REALLY like it. as it dries it reminds me of the way the skin on a pear smells when it's not ripened yet. FINAL VERDICT: clean, refreshing & simple - a very clear scent. i love it

FIRST SNIFF: patchouli with a musky undertone WEARING IT: wood planks, treachery, sea salt & feminine power. this scent reeks of adventure... FINAL VERDICT: after it dries for a bit this is a lot more wearable. the initial shock of musk etc may be a little too much for me though. good for days when you mean business...

FIRST SNIFF: white flowers with a kick of lemon WEARING IT: the sandalwood and vanilla come out more with the lemon and white flowers fading in the background. i can still smell the lemon though, which makes this scent truly a unique one. FINAL VERDICT: i really love this scent and find it extremely feminine, will definitely use my imp

FIRST SNIFF: warm fig, spices WEARING IT: i don't smell any mandarin at all, it must be way in the back. this is such a warm, earthy, comforting scent on me and has a great spicey kick to it. i do love it but find it fades quite fast. FINAL VERDICT: i think i may love it on my boyfriend more, so i'm going to try that out. it's a beautiful scent but not for me everyday.

FIRST SNIFF: plump pears and sugary popsicles WEARING IT: this is THE perfect summer time scent. this, to me, is a scent to wear when you're feeling a little girly, a little flirty & a little innocent all at the same time the pear is still in the foreground, with rose and a little musk coming up from behind. the longer i wear it the more i can smell lily of the valley. VERDICT: although it seems to fade fast on me, i do like it enough to probably get a 5ml at some point down the road.

FIRST SNIFF: bright, roses, incense WEARING IT: the frankincense & lily of the valley come through and there's a sharp soapiness to it hiding somewhere in the background. as i'm wearing it i realize it smells exactly like ivory soap! FINAL VERDICT: the smell from the imp seemed heavenly, but it turned soapy and isn't for me.

FIRST SNIFF: almond & cherry WEARING IT: warmer, spicier, woodier but still that cherry in there. definitely a licorice undertone. FINAL VERDICT: i can't do the licorice thing so am not a huge fan of this one, although i wanted to be!

FIRST SNIFF: woah florals! WEARING IT: water logged roses. this is VERY strong on me and is giving me quite the headache! it is an all-out floral & green scent and just not something i'd normally wear. VERDICT: happy to have tried it but sadly, ophelia just isn't my cup of tea
