This is a very delicate, faint, floral. It's nice but not 'wow' for me.
-
This is another 'earthy' scent, so although I love the name (sloths are so cute!) I won't be keeping it.
-
This one smelt a bit menthol-y to me. It's not my type so it's off to the swap box for someone else to love.
-
I really wanted this to work on me; I wanted to own it just for the name! Sadly it didn't work. Patchouli (which never fails to make me feel sick) and wood. Nevermind!
-
I have no idea what Dragon's blood smells like but I do know I like this very much and will be needing a 5ml.
-
Grapefruit, red currant, dark musk, Roman chamomile, delphinium, and lavender. From the imp I could smell lavender quite strongly, but on skin luckily this fades to a really nice floral/fruity combination. It didn't last too long on me though unfortunately.
-
I wasn't quite sure what I was smelling until I read a few reviews, but now I can detect the sandalwood in this. It's absolutely GORGEOUS, I definitely need a 5ml of this. Bewitching Brews has some really perfect scents, I love it. Sadly my bank account doesn't..
-
Strangely I detect a hint of banana in this!? Maybe my nose playing up again eh. Very incensey, rather generic though so won't be buying a bottle thanks.
-
I can determine the different notes this time, hence the edit.. Roses, almond and something else in the background.. Quite exquisite!
-
I agree with this. It's nice but a bit too generic for my liking. Glad I got to try it though.
-
Musky and gorgeous, I love this one. Definitely need a 5ml! ADDED Jan. 31: From the bottle this one smells soapy, but not in a bad way. On skin I 'smell like a hippy shop' according to about ten people yesterday! Again, not a bad thing really. Plus I like the label.
-
Here you go: (Sorry about quality but it's the best my phone camera could do). ..really does it no justice whatsoever. :S
-
My new bottle of Black Opal arrived today (GC, obv) and it's the new-style label. It's very olde-stylee and much more superior to the previous in my opinion. Can't wait to see more!
-
I really don't like this. Even though Pickled Imp is one of my favourites, this is just awful on me and really strong/spicy. Plus it burns.
-
This smells exactly the same as Spellbound to me, I can't tell the difference between the two. I'll still keep both bottles though as I couldn't decide which to sell/swap away! Incense, lots of incense.
-
I got the 2007 version of this in my first ever Lab order but didn't like it. My tastes have developed and altered so much since then that I decided to give it another go. Still, the coconut/floral combination make me feel blurgh so I'm going to swap it. Nevermind, I tried!

Visiting the Temple of Auspicious Fortune Alone on the Winter Solstice

Fresh, aquatic and maybe masculine. I certainly can't smell any incense unfortunately. I was imaginging something like All Souls. Swap box! -
This smells like pure rich chocolate in the bottle; like Candy Butcher but even more chocolate-y. Unfortunately when it's dry on skin it smells like wet dog. On my, anyway. Sadly, chocolate smells don't want to work on me. Swap box!
-
This smells a bit like Jack in the bottle, but less buttery. It also reminds me of Campino sweets! On skin it smells exactly the same as Lush's Soft Touch, yay!! 1, 000,000 bottles please!

Unfortunately I can't quite determine whether or not a scent is aquatic. Even after this long as an Addict!! Anyhoo, from the imp this smells fresh and maybe a bit masculine? It's lovely regardless. On skin it turns to patchouli on me, which sadly makes me want to puke. To the swap box it is!
-
A whole lot of lavender..! As it dries down I'm sure I detect a hint of liquorice too?..Maybe it's just my nose playing tricks on me. It's nice but I wouldn't wear it. It'd make a good room spray for Spring.

Autumn Scents - recommend the ones you love
diamondstars replied to any_old_actress's topic in Recommendations
I wore Snow Glass Apples yesterday and I think it is a perfect Autumn scent. Second to that would be Jack, of course. -
This would be perfect for someone who likes fruity smells, but sadly I'm not a fan. It's pure strawberry. I'll pass it on so someone else has the chance to try it though.
-
This smells like every generic hippy shop in England. I mean that in a good way though, definitely on my 5ml wishlist!!
-
This is really gorgeous. The vanilla is very dominant for me, which is good as that's a note I really like. It doesn't seem to last very long at all; hopefully once aged this will change.
