Well this is totally different to the smell of Flying Fox and Youki Hi; not sure about Godiva, I don't use that. It smells lovely! I reckon they'll bring this to the US sometime soon, they're probably just trialing it in the UK first. On the UK Lush site though, it's got some pretty bad reviews so far..

I've just been given a Sex In The Shower from Lush and it smells gorgeous; the best jasmine scent I've tried by far. Does anyone know of a BPAL scent that would come close to this? I have a bottle of Jasmine Cottage already but this is a different smell altogether.

Haha well yeah the funniest thing is that they decided my perfumes were 'offensive'!! R-tards. I did actually test out Indig0's theory; I wore Glowing Vulva the next day and guess what?!.. "Ooh, that smells gorgeous. Much better than those weird gothy ones you were wearing.." Stupid people. Needless to say I don't work there anymore. They were the type of 'team' (management included) to comment on anything I did as 'weird'. That's the only word they had for it. It was weird that I was vegan, weird that I didn't wear commercial perfumes, weird that I was into stuff like aromatherapy and holistic healing and weird that I didn't want to go on nights out with them!!

Because once they (managers etc) found out that my perfume was a perfume oil and a bit gothic, they didn't like it. It was only when they saw the bottle that the complaints started and people started to say it smelt 'disgusting' and 'too strong' etc. Someone even said it was making their eyes itch but oils aren't airbourne..duh!

Hehe unfortunately, yeah..I am...it's a gradute studies program, but still - we're all adults, right? I should add that I didn't even consider not mentioning that it was an oil. I should also mention that the girl with the "toilet cleaner" remark is fiercely competitive with me and rather insecure. I know it isn't *just* the scents. Her response would have been identical no matter what the scent was, I'd wager. To the woman's defence, Urd is very strong and very earthy and very different from regulat perfume. It just annoys me when I accept everyone else and don't get the same back..I mean at the end of the day it's just a different type of perfume to what everyone else wears isn't it? It doesn't make me a bad person or anything! I don't get it. I was threatened with disciplinary action for wearing Knave of Hearts once. Yeah, I left that job..

Grr..this annoys me! I've had this before when people have loved my perfume and complimented plenty on it. Then, when I show them the bottle or they find out it's not 'regular' perfume, they suddenly dislike it. People are dumb! Are we still in school?! I think not!

Antique Lace gets me the most compliments, although I don't wear it that often anymore. I think it's because non-BPAL people tend to find it easier to like the 'lighter' scents, to start off with at least.

For a pure strawberry scent I'd personally recommend Titania. I've only tried it for an imp though, so might be different once applied from a full 5ml.

I found Carnaval Diabolique to be THE strongest lemon scent so far. It's not 'toilet cleaner' like some, more lemon meringue pie. Hope this helps!

For my 21st I wore Bon Vivant 'cause it's my 'holiday scent'. I struggle to wear it during 'normal days' in case it ruins my holiday memories!!

I can't pick out any specific notes or anything on this one. All I can say is it's PERFECT, AMAZING, GORGEOUS and my new favourite!! It's love

This smells like fresh strawberries to me, nothing else. Am I going mad? It'd make a lovely Summer scent.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Haven't tried it on skin yet so hope it won't burn like Inferno did.. To me Pickled Imp is like a combination of Glowing Vulva and Gingerbread Poppet. Update - Aug 3rd '08: Pickled Imp didn't burn like I thought it would and turned out to be my absolute favourite BPAL of all time! I went on to order another two back-up bottles and want more!

Floral bananas?! I'm going to keep this for now..it's very curious!!

Straight from the twisted alleys of Dis, by way of the City of Angels: opium smoke, lemon flower, heliotrope, tuberose, black musk, vanilla, coconut, apricot flower. Lemon meringue pie!! I like this; most lemony scents are too artificial-smelling but this one's lovely.

Roses! A bit too strong for me though..I prefer something like Parlement of Foules with the incense etc.

I poured an imp of this into my bath and instantly regretted it as I quite like it! I can definitely smell leather and mens' cologne, but it's somehow wearable in a feminine way too.

The ylang ylang is the dominant note in this. I think it smells a bit too masculine for my liking though.

Pot pourri?

This smells of apples and berries to me; I aren't getting any hints of florals.. It's nice but not for me (I get easily bored of fruity scents unfortunately).

This smells very antiseptic to me, which is a shame 'cause I like the name! I don't think ginger likes me either.

I really like this one, even though I don't usually go for anything fruity. It reminds me of a certain flavour of Jelly Bean...!

I can smell the cocoa and incense in this mainly. It's very nice in the imp but unfortunately smells like poo on me.
