Does anyone know how lenient the lab is with delayed lunacy orders in special circumstances? I placed an order on Christmas day for the December lunacies, but I accidentally did it in Canadian funds. I emailed the lab right away and asked them to tell me the difference and I will send in the money. I haven't received a reply, but Paypal has issued me a refund for my money. I'm wondering if I could place the order again (with US funds) tomorrow, but it's past the date that I am able to order lunacies. I'm posting this in a few places so sorry if you see this lots of times! Thanks.

In the imp, the scent intimidated me slightly - it was overpoweringly smoky and incensy that just scared me off a bit. While wet, the incense and smoke still took center stage, but the vanilla and sweeter background started to come out. While dry, the scents just mellowed together heavenly, and I absolutely ADORE it Another one for the 5mls, but probably not till later, due to lack of monies

In the imp it smelled fantastically like a candy cane. On my skin, it was unpleasantly sharp and completely lacking in any sweetness or vanilla. After about 10 minutes a strange, dusty, woody tone appears. What the hell?! This is nice in the imp, but sadly my skin chemistry just seems to hate everything

In the imp: Sweet with a synthetic overtone. Wet on skin: Same as above, but mellowing out a lot. Dry on skin: WOW. After 10-15 minutes, the synthetic crap (what a great nose I have, haha) mellowed out, and what's left is a pleasant, delicious fruity smell. I love it! After a while: The dab on my wrist has faded and morphed a lot, going into a soft background-y smell. The parts that have rubbed off on my shirt smell heavenly. Verdict: 4/5.

In the imp: PUNGEANT. Wet on skin: Still pungeant. Strange and weird, I think the patchouli comes out more on me than others. Dry on skin: Very spicy and musky. Poo. The mango and tea seem to be struggling to come through. Stupid patchouli. Apparently it's used a lot in incense and it's a natural bug repellent. Great, I'm a giant Raid can. After a while: The mango, fig and green tea finally broke through. It's kinda strange. Verdict: 3/5.

The imp was overpoweringly fruity. On my skin, while wet, the scent was just screaming "OH HI THERE I'M APRICOT AND THIS IS MY FRIEND POM." Dry, it's much more pleasant, something more basic came through and grounded everything. It's nice, I was thinking of getting a bottle, but then a small hint of soapyness came through, so bah!

I'm not very good at identifying individual notes, so with that in mind, here goes: The imp smelled slightly unpleasant of woods and spice and pepper. On my skin, it was strong, cinnamony, peppery, with a faint sweet undertone. On the drydown, it mellowed out a lot, with something slightly minty in the background, and still sweet, dry, and hot. I like it, but might not warrant a bottle.

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils

Did you get a reply yet? I'm incredibly allergic to mango as well, so I'm very interested I also heard from someone that the mango scents that the lab uses aren't the mango oil that we're allergic to - Beth creates blends of oils that smell like the fruit she's presenting. Of course, don't take my word for this! If you could send me a copy of their reply, I would be infinitely grateful.
