    Black Lotus

In the Imp: A very sweet, candy sweet type floral. Wet: Um, Bubblegum? Not traditional bubblegum, but one of those really strong, fruit punch bubblelicious types. Very in your face sweet. Dry: Fruity, cinnamon with a sandalwood base. Odd change if you ask me! As it dries I get a very sweet spiciness. Overall: I was expecting something way more floral than this on me, but I wasn't exactly dissapointed either. It's a good "young" scent. It would be a great gift for a teen girl. 3.5 out of 5

    Dragon's Heart

In the Imp:I smell a good ol' dose of Dragon's Blood. It smells very earthy. Wet: Sexy, musky, resiny. I used to burn a lot of Dragon's Blood Resin incense in junior high. This takes me back to that. Dry: It's nice. Every other note definitely takes a back seat to the Dragon's Blood, but it still smells nice and deeply, richly sweet as a whole. Overall: Nice introduction to the Ars Draconis group. I'll definitely be trying out more scents here. 3.5 out of 5

    Sea of Glass

In the Imp:A strong, fresh Floral/Aquatic Wet: It's a little soapy, like something you'd use to freshen up linens. Febreze? It's not bad, but there's something cloying underneath it that seems to be sticking to the back of my throat. Dry: Softer floral now, I got some compliments on it. It's a very good representation of the sea. It's got a nice clarity to it. It kind of reminds me of visiting the cliffs of Moher in Ireland. It's peaceful, perhaps a good springtime scent. Overall: Not my favorite, but it wasn't bad either. Fresh, good for springtime in the fresh air. 3 out of 5.

    Sin

In the Imp: Sultry Amber with something that reminds me of debaucherous nights. Wet: Badass, spicy. Loving the Amber/Patchouli/Cinnamon combo. It's dark and sensual. I feel really sexy wearing this. Dry: Oh wow, so sexy! Still has that sexy, seductive, HOT feel to it. It could work for the guys too. I think that if my boyfriend was wearing this I would not be able to help myself. Very yummy and I get lots of hints of Sandalwood. Overall: Love it, this screams sexy to me! It's a dark, villainous, eat-you-alive kind of sexy but yes, it's sexy. 4.5 out of 5

    Fallen

In the Imp: I know this sounds screwed up, but it smells to me like someone tried to wipe up a vetiver spill with baby wipes. I really don't like it, but there have been plenty of times when something smells not so great in the imp, but smells good on me skin, so I went for it: Wet: At first it's a YUCK! Then a little while later it starts to get more woody, more musky. Still not diggin it. It's very manly. Dry: I start to be okay with it. It's gotten richer, sweeter. It's taken way to long to get to this point though. There's only a hint of the amber note. Overall: This may be the very first Bpal that I can't stand. I'm dissapointed because I love a lot of the notes in this one. I guess the combination of them doesn't work. I may try it again as it ages, but for now, I'm keeping it far away. 1 out of 5.

    Sed Non Satiata

In the Imp: Sweet honeyish musk Wet: Wow this is sexy! It's like Brisingamen's sexy, spicy older sister. Gorgeous! I'm not too familiar with Bpal's myrhh note, but I think I smell it here, and I think that's what is sexing everything up. I don't smell the patchouli too much, but it has a very spicy edge. Dry: Pure sex in liquid form. I love this! I can see why this falls under the "Love Potions" category. got a bunch of compliments on this. More than one person squealed, "Oooh, spicy!". Overall: If you want to seduce, this is the scent to go for. I definitely noticed some extra male attention when I wore this. A lot of my male coworkers were hovering around more than usual. With questions like, "Did you need anything?", and a couple of , "Is there anything I can help you with?" Hmmmmm.... 4.5 out of 5

    Black Lace

In the bottle: I'm not sure about this, it's not exactly what I was expecting. It smells more typically perfumey than most bpal I've tried. It's a little unsettling and mysterious. Wet: The moment it touches my skin, i'm worried. It's a bit extravagant. I don't get vanilla, or tobacco or any of the things I was hoping for. I do smell cognac strongly. However it instantly starts warming to my skin chemistry. It feels so sexy, mesmerizing, maybe a tad bit wicked. The vanilla starts crawling forward. Dry:Holy cow! THIS is exactly what I was hoping for. A bewitching combination of creamy vanilla and musk, with sweet tobacco and incense slightly coming through. I love how the lab description states that the vanilla cotton is "stained" by the other notes. That's a perfect description. My boyfriend loves it. This is, simply put, the scent of my dreams. Overall: This scent is a friggin magic potion! I am completely enchanted by Black Lace, and I am so happy about that because I wanted this to work so badly. It has exceeded my expectations of it. I wanted to curl up with the bottle at bedtime and cuddle with it. I know that's just plain weird but this is the effect this had on me! My hands down favorite scent so far. This would be a tough one to beat. 5 out of 5.

    Long Night Moon

In the Bottle: Perfectly reflects the bottle's label; The cold, clear night sky reflecting onto a body of water. Clean, Aquatic Wet: Classic, Sophisticated. Not at all flirty or sexy. This scent means business, it's serious. However it stills feels womanly. This could be a good unisex scent. This would be good to wear for a presentation at work or school. I feel capable, steady wearing it. Dry: This scent makes me feel like everything is under control. It's great to wear to work. I smell mint and thyme. I'm not sure what blue musk smells like, but this defintely smells "blue" to me. Dark Blue. It feels a little cold, alone. Longer Drydown: Things were all business before, but now we can start to let our hair down a bit. The dark blue from before is turning into a lighter indigo. It's as if the powerful business woman is settling down after work with a glass of wine in the hot tub. Overall: This was a great work scent. Great for focus. It's definitely cold and a bit lonely, but if you need to get things done, I'd recommend this. 3 out of 5.

    Desire

This one was a liitle wacky on me. In the Imp: Boozy, beachy Wet:At first this reminds me of Mailibu Rum. It's got a beachy feel to me, like warm but kinda tropical, stong citrus. I also smell the teak very strongly. Dry: This has dried down a little sweeter, muskier. I get the vanilla now, and it's gotten softer. Overall: This scent makes me think of hot summer nights. I would love to wear this out to a club as I think this is the kinda scent that could keep up with the sweat and the dancing. However when I tested this out I was wearing it to work on a cold winter day. It didn't feel right. Sometimes certain summery scents give you a mood boost in the winter. This did not do that to me. It simply felt out of place. 3.5 out of 5. This score might go higher in the summertime.

    Brisingamen

In The Imp: Sexy amber with a little crispness to it, like there's something green.. apple? Wet: Subtle, beautiful, soft, cozy, sexy. Feels like a warm cashmere blanket on my skin. I'm in love. Dry: Amber is a great note on me, this just gets softer and creamier as it goes. My only complaint is that it fades a tad too quick. Overall: Definitely in my top ten. 4 out of 5. LOVE IT.

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?

As far as the confusion about your order's shipping, what your going through is normal. I use CCnow for my orders and what happens is as follows: 1. You get your confirmation E-mail. 2. Usually Your order status will say "Awiting Shipment" for a while, until one day it says... 3. "Shipped". In between, your card may be charged, but then the charge will dissapear. This is annoying and confusing, but common. You won't be actually charged until your order does ship from the lab. 4. When your CCnow order page states that your order is "Shipped", this means the order has been sent on to the lab so they can fill it. It does not actually mean it has shipped to you as of yet. The information on CCnow's page is info from the credit card processor, not the lab. It usually takes a few days after the CCnow page says "Shipped" for the order to go out to you. When it does you will usually get.... 5. A C&S notification from the USPS through E-mail. That's where you will get all your tracking info, etc. I know this can all be a little confusing but from what it seems, you are going through a normal order procedure. I think your in good shape. My last order was placed 11/19 and my ccnow status is Shipped, and I went through the same stuff with the "dissapearing charges". It's the same with every order I've made. As far as you moving, you may want to e-mail the lab with any questions if you have not already done so. I hope this and everyone else's info has helped. Hope all goes well, and Welcome to the Forum!

    Bordello

Wow! Pleasantly suprising! In the imp: Sweet, fresh... not exactly what I was expecting from a scent called "Bordello". Wet: These prostitutes are very clean and very pampered! This is amazing. Sugared fruits and amaretto. So sweet and sexy. I was expecting something heavier, maybe even muskier. But this is heavenly. I don't smell the wine at all. My boyfriend likes it alot too. Dry: The currant gives it an edge, as if night is falling on the cathouse. Overall: I think I found my new favorite. Sexy Fantasy Scent. My man gives it a 4 out of 5. I give it a 5 out of 5. LOVE IT!

    Lady Una

This is wonderful! In the bottle: Very sweet with a kick. Fruits and spices. Compelling. Wet: My goodness this is gorgeous! Very sensory. Perfectly captures the feeling of what I imagine the other side of the wall to be. Very beautiful and sweet, with a naughty, playful side. Totally Lady Una herself! A great combination of honey and sweet spices. The blackberry note is lovely as well. Dry: Pretty much the same as wet, but a little softer, warmer. Overall: This is so inviting, alluring. Its kind of summery, so a great scent for colder weather as a pick-me-up. A very sexy mood booster. 4.5 out of 5.

    Bien Loin D'Ici

In the imp: Very strong, Heady, Intoxicating On me: This is a very classic fragrance. Heavy on the musk. It reminds me a lot of Clinique's Aromatics Elixir, although I don't think any of the notes are the same. It still has the heaviness of a perfume created in the 1920's. It's very much not me. Dry: It goes a little more powdery. I smell the honey now, as most bpals get sweeter on me as they dry. It's prettier now than it was, but this is still not something I could wear often. Overall: Not a favorite of mine. It reminds me a bit of something my Mother and Grandmother have worn. It might be a nice gift for someone older. It's not bad as a fragrance but doesn't work on me.I give it a 2 out of 5. ETA: I don't know if my skin chemistry or taste in perfume has changed, but Bien Loin D'Ici is currently a favorite of mine. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe as I've smelled more and more fragrances my nose recognizes things differently. Either way,I love this scent. The initial wet phase is still not the best for me, but after it dries I am left with sexy honey yumminess and can not stop smelling my wrist. Just goes to show you how your first impression of something can very well change over time.

    Khephra

Khephra did some wacky things on me. In the imp: I can see why this is a "sun" scent. Very warm and a bit fiery. Wet: It's kind of like a masculine cologne. Very warm, a bit spicy too. Dry: Here's where we get strange. It smells like wood cutting. Like in woodshop class when your cutiing in with a electric saw, and you have that hot resiny wood smell. My co-worker however, says it smells like vanilla. Later on: I start to smell a sweeter spicier scent. I don't think it's vanilla though, despite my co-worker insistance. Overall: Crazy Morph action! I did have fun with this one, but I won't be needing a full bottle. 3 out of 5

    Helena

In the imp: A very pretty floral Wet: Ugh! There's something that's not working here. It smells to me like a nursing home-sanitary and sterile, but with decaying bouquets of flowers throughout. My skin is not taking to kindly to the rose. It's a little heavy for me, and it's pretty much all I can smell. Dry: Morph city! It's calmed down, turned sweeter, softer, it's the very pretty floral from the imp once again. Most Bpal scents take a little while to warm up to my skin, and once this did, it was lovely. However, getting there was tough. I'd give it a 2 out of 5.

    Midnight Kiss

In the Bottle: This immediately reminds me of a club I used to go to which closed down. Its the musk and the wine and the patchouli in a combo that brings me back to dancing and velvet, candlelight and booze. Wet: This starts out as a heavy cherry with woods and of course the patchouli is still strong. In my experience patchouli tends to be the strongest note in any blend it's in. Theres also a hint of musk in the background. Dry: This has dried down to a beautiful sweetly smoky cherry. I can smell the amber too. It reminds me a bit of clove cigarettes, although I see there is no clove listed in the description. It could be that it has just brought back the memory of clove cigarettes due to the goth club associations I've made with it. 12 hours later: This one lasts! I'm impressed. Nothing I've tried so far has even come close to this potency. Still the sweet, clovey, soft cherry amber from before. Overall: I really like this one. I'm so thrilled it turned out this way. This bottle will be used frequently and I should probably buy another bottle(or two or three) before it's gone! 5 out of 5

    Voodoo

In the Imp: It's different than anything I've sniffed before. I smell the patchouli, but theres also a crispness to it. Wet: I don't know if I like the combo of patchouli and citrus and pine. It's still very crisp, yet incensey, and i'm not sure if it's just because it's new to me or if I actually don't like it. It starts to get a little smoky, which I'm liking. Dry: Wow, what a change! The harsher scents have faded and the vanilla and clove are being all warm and comforting and sexy at the same time. So sweet, so lovely. Overall: I'd give this a 4 out of 5. It takes a while to get there but when it got there, I was in love. Eta: I tried an aged version of this, and it's ALL pine. Fresh voodoo may be better than aged voodoo.

    Velvet

In the imp: OOOOOOH! The cocoa is sweetly seducing me into putting this on my wrist immediately. Wet:The sandalwood and cocoa combination is wonderful. The sandalwood is the stronger note at first, but you can still smell the sweetness. It's incredible. I hope I can describe this right. The feel of velvet fabric is completely represented in this scent. I'm reminded of wearing it, feeling the soft, luxurious fabric grace my skin. Dry: Um, where it go? I had such high hopes for this one! It faded really quickly. There are still traces, which I keep desperately sniffing for all day. But alas, it's just a faint trace of sweet warmth. Overall: I would give the scent a 4 out of 5, but i really wish it would last longer as it is quite beautiful on me at first

    Gingerbread Poppet

I am in love with this scent. It is exactly what I hoped it would be and more. In the bottle: Sweet nostalgia of holidays past. It's all spicy gingerbread in the oven and the aroma of small village boutiques and holiday parties. It's incredible. On me: Pretty much the same as in the bottle. The cinnamon and nutmeg are perfect on my skin. It's the most yummy thing to ever have graced my wrist. Dry: It only gets better. It sweetens and warms up a bit, but the scent stays true throughout. I may need to get more of this.... 10 out of 10-Perfect score!

    Blood Kiss

My First Review! In the imp: The cherry hits me right away, along with something sweeter. It reminds me of cherry cordial candies with a wine note peeking out in the background. On me: The strength of the cherry fades and I start to get worried because a powdery feel replaces it. It's not bad, but I'm not sure if it's working for me. Dry: The powdery overtones are gone, and a very warm musk comes forth with the vetiver and makes me feel a lot better about this one. To me it feels cozy yet subtly sexy. I'd consider a full bottle of this one, but it's not something I need to rush out and get. I'd say about 7 out of 10.
