In the bottle: Ugh! Overpowering cheesecake smell! So sickly sweet! Can I bear to put this on my wrists? Wet: Ooh, the pear, grapes and jasmine tea are coming out...no, wait, there gone. Dry: Here...gone...here...gone... After some time: Bizarre. One wrist has gone almost coffee-ish, the other has now settled on the pear, grape and jasmine tea smell. Both are lovely. But this one’s going to the swaps box because I just can’t stand to wait for them! This scent makes me feel: Confused and slightly sick.

In the bottle: Dry, swirling incense. Something slightly tickly, almost peppery. An evocative, quietly dramatic scent. Wet: Warm, spicy and incensey. Still that tickly smell, which I can't quite define. I can't wear this perfume when I have even a hint of a headache, because the frankincense becomes overwhelming and makes it worse somehow. Dry: Goes almost creamy, and the notes blend together to the point that I can't make them out separately. A little later: Takes on warmth and mellowness. Reminds me of celebrating Beltane in Glastonbury, with incense burning and the sun shining. This scent makes me feel: Mellow and free.

In the bottle: Berries berries berries BERRIES berries! Big, juicy, squashy BERRIES! With berry juice. And berries. Wet: Suddenly the green comes to the fore. Now the berries are nestled in dewy summer leaves and freshly-cut grass. Dry: I smell a kind of redcurrant smell overpowering the other berry smells. The greenness has sunk back down in the mix now, but it's still there, preventing this very sweet scent from being sickly. A lovely, mellow berry scent. A little later: Hmm. Red Glacier Fruits. Never mind, it's all good. This scent makes me feel: Happy and vibrant.

Hurrah! My first review! In the bottle: Rich chocolate-orange cake. Behind it, just a faint swirl of spicy-floral cologne. Eatable, but is it wearable? Wet: The mandarin separates itself from the edible, cakey scent to become tangy and slightly sharp. Saffron emerges. It is still a rich scent, but seems to be very wearable. The longer I wear it, the more I amp the saffron, which is good. Dry: Gorgeous, rich, soft-spicy saffron and chocolate-orange scent. A definite wrist-sniffer! I’m sure this would be very sexy on a man as well. A little later: The chocolate-orange has faded, leaving a soft, warm, luxuriant spicy smell similar to that left by Bastet after a while. It’s what I call the ‘cat in the sun’ smell, and I love it. This scent makes me feel: Commanding and opulent. I'm itching to review something else now, but this scent lasts ages and I don't have the heart to wash it off!
