In the bottle: Almond. Reeking of almonds. Almonds shoved forcibly up my nose. And in my eye. Just a second. Almonds. Now, I like almonds, but this seems to be a vial of them soaking in vanilla. It puts me off a little. Wet: Almonds still but they've thankfully calmed down a little bit on my skin. Now I can make the lime out. This reminds me of some of the other blends that go through all their notes before blending down. Lime and maybe the pine. This isn't as pine as Golden Priapus. It's just nice and sitting there. The patchouli is being very tame in this so far. Dry down: The vetiver comes out more, making me think more of voodoo and dark nights. Yeah, this is getting less foody and more hippie with each passing second. Still a pretty fair note of pine to it, though. This is nice but a little heavy for me. I can make out the cloves and the vetiver now. This does combine down nicely, but it's not really the kind of thing I think I'd ever wear. Dry: Is that the myrrh? Not sure. This is becoming a little spicer. Maybe the cloves...oh...uh oh...my wrist is starting to have little pricks. I sometimes have unfortunate reactions to clove. Oh, clove. Clove. Clove. Clove with a little patchouli. And that not quite pleasant burning sensation. Washing it off!

In the bottle: Another slightly spicy citrus scent. Maybe more tart than spicy. The floral is pretty much in the background. Wet: I smell like those citrus Halls cough drops I have. This is not pretty. It's a nice cirtus, it just has too much of something that makes me think cough drop. Some kind of vapor or maybe one of the florals. Ick. Dry down: Citrus cough drop with a hint of a dead flower in the background. Man, my skin hates this one. I guess it's just too much cirtus. That or the combination is simply just bad for me. Dry: Orange and lemon and grapefruit. These are the flavors the cough drops come in as well as my wrist. The floral is peeking out, and I think it might be carnation, which I have problems with so this is getting washed off now. I think I'll ship it to teza as she mentioned liking it.

In the bottle: It smells like dirt and moss the woods. I don't want to put it on. I've had some bad experiences with such earthy scents. *whine* But maye it'll morph and be lovely. Okay. Okay. On it goes. Wet: Green. Very much a green smell. Actually, it kinda reminds me of baby's breath in bouquets. It's just kinda there, though, you know. It's nice, and I'm not allergic. But I don't really like it. I guess it's the grass smell. The reminder of leaves and things that are natural and just there. I appreciate it, but I don't want to smell like it. Plus, there's something brown behind it that reminds me of Dublin and my horrible experience with that oil. There's definitely aquatic in this as well, which I only like in very limited cases. Dry down: First pricks of a headache. Hmmm, pity. Takes forever to dry so I'm blotting. It reminds me of a tamer version of Dublin with some aquatic notes mixed in. This is not the best appraoch for it to take. I can feel my sinuses preparing the revolt. Dry: Something of a nice floral with still the tinge of water and moss and woods. But it's too green/brown for me, and my head does not like it. Thus, while I am glad that I had the chance to sample this, I do not think that I can keep it. I also think it's too floral for the boy. Oh well.

In the bottle: Rose and something herbal. I am in love with Beth's rose blends. Actually, I think I just like roses and the way they smell. also, my skin loves the scent, too, as it always comes out pretty strong on me. Wet: Pretty roses. I love you. I love you. These are sweet roses. Candied like the way the florals smell in The Unicorn, only in this it's candied roses. There's still that faint herbal note in the background that I can't identify except that it reminds me of Dormouse. So maybe an herbal tea of some sort? This is clean and fresh and commanding, the way that the Empress should be. It is beautiful and regal but still gentle and lush. Dry down: Roses heaped upon roses. Corridors of roses. I am the rose queen. I dwell in the house of the rose forever and ever amen. It's getting a little heavier as it dries, but it's still lovely. The tea/sweet note has faded leaving the roses and a more woody note behind. This keeps changing as the multitude of roses in it mingle and dance. Dry: This is a deeper, richer dry smell of roses than I get with Libra. This is a very grown-up scent, and I don't mean that it's old. I just mean that it is mature and vivacious. It knows and has grown with experience. This might go on my big bottle list. But first I have to get my hands on more rose blends so I can compare them all. I love my roses. I love the way that Beth makes roses smell.

In the bottle: Now, I have problems with gardenia, but if anyone could make it palatable for me it would be the lab so I'm willing to take the chance. I am violets, lots of violets. I am violets, who could ask for anything more! I love violets. We lived at this one house and violets grew in the backyard like crazy esp. the white ones. Those are my favorite. They remind of van Gogh and his iris painting. What it's like to be the white iris in the sea of purple or the white violet. Wet: No, evil, jealous gardenia. Go away. The violet smell is still there but the gardenia is competing and the vanilla is just lurking underneath, waiting. I love vanilla, too. I don't know. Everybody is fighting in this blend. They don't seem to like each other or my skin at all. It just smells...bad. Like the flowers are wilting and turning brown. There are dying flowers on my wrist. This is sad. Oh, my, what is that? It's not gardenia or violet or vanilla. It must be them blended together and very unhappy with me. Dry down: This reminds me of a floral candle. One of the ones that gives me a headache. Gardenia always gives me a headache. I was hoping that the violets and vanilla would make it bearable but, unfortunately, this is something I have to stay away from. Dying flowers. Dry: It just stinks on me. Brown, dead flowers. And it's making my head hurt. I think the gardenia and vanilla are too cloying. Or my skin hates them or something. Washing off. I'm sure this is quite lovely on other people but I cannot wear it. Oh well.

In the bottle: Moss. Moss. Moss. With just the touch of amber and maybe a little floral underneath. I almost want to seal it and throw it into the boy's imp box because moss and I have bad experiences. I do not like to smell of it for one. Wet: Carnation oddly enough. I'm thankful not to smell like moss soap as of yet (a la Bayou). Amber now. Amber and carnation. This is more floral than I had expected. I'm hoping the boy still wants it. I grabbed it for him. Moss. Dry down: This moss is well tempered with the amber and the carnation. There's no sign of my beloved lavender. Oh well. But this still says boy because of the spices and just the boyness of it. Dry: Very nice, masculine moss/floral with the amber perking it up and making it nice and light. I won't wear this again, but the boy should smell great with it on. Little more carnation peeking out. And moss. Washing off and putting with my boy's scents because yum on him.

In the bottle: Now, that's a plethora of scent. I'm sniffing it going, "Huh? Ugh. Hmm" because I cannot discern one scent from another. I'm also at a loss to describe it because it's a fruit floral one minute and then it grows darker the next time I sniff. Well, I'm pretty ready to try things after my pleasant experience with Danube so on it goes. Wet: Cherries. I do not like the smell of cherries on my skin so I'm hoping this fades. Quickly. There's a breath of floral cherry, which is much nicer than just cherry. Oh, you're nice. What's that? This changes. Every time I smell my wrist something new is entering the picture. It is bright and metallic with soft edges full of flowering trees and big eyed girls. Dry down: I think the orchid is getting prevalent on my skin. The cherry has, thankfully, faded out leaving this fairly strong floral. I'm not positive that it is the orchid but I hope so because I love them and this is nice. It's still bright and fresh. I smell the crisp air and the floral with the metallic there to provide a pleasant base off of which the other notes explode. The orchid has something of a soap quality to its undertone. One sec. I'm going to compare it to my orchid lotion. My lotion is sweeter but that's definitely the floral. More metallic now and maybe some of the bamboo. I don't know what bamboo smells like but this scent is green but lacking the fresh floral tone of the orchid. This smells so much better on me than in the vial where it's cherries, cherries, cherries. Dry: This smells older than me. The metallic and the bamboo are more prevalent. I miss my pretty orchids. Hmmm, also the mountain air seems to have faded leaving a very old yet fresh scent that does remind of the Japanese girls with their big eyes and manga style clothes. It's pretty, but I don't know about wearing it often. I'll play with the imp, wear it a few more times at least as I'm still undecided on whether I like it or not.

In the bottle: Spicy, floral water. Water with a kick really but not like Undertow. This is a swiftly flowing river with flowers growing at the edges and...bright sunshine on the rocks. Wet: The aquatic notes are most prominent. I feel like I'm wading through water and it surrounds me. There's the florals. I'm not sure what either bellflowers or rhododendron smell like so I cannot tell which one if more prevalent. I like whichever floral, or mixture thereof, that I can detect in this. It's a crisp scent. Very like a sunny day spent wading, picking flowers along the edge of a stream. Happy, blissful and full of picnics and laughter. It reminds me of something, some kind of food or scent that I vaguely recall from childhood but I am unable to discern what it reminds me of. Dry down: Remains strong and...oh, it's that little garden in New Orleans that I used to escape to, the one behind the apartment building that was on the corner of our block. The one with the stone bench and the birds and the sunshine. We weren't supposed to play there, but the tenants let us anyway because no one in the building had children. I think they liked to hear us laughing. This is a beautiful scent. I really like it. It's very powerfully emotional for me, too. It smells like humidity and flowers in the air, spice. Dry: Still strong and very powerful. Thankfully, I'm not allergic to it. So very much water in this. Such a strong aquatic presence with the florals to keep it grounded. I remember when it used to pour buckets (and sheets and pails and comforters as Jane and I used to say) and then the sun would come out and the scent of the flowers would mix with the rain. I don't know if the Danube smells like this, and I can't pick out any of the individuals florals. But this is my childhood in one scent. This is five years in the heat and humidity and the full awareness of New Orleans to me. I don't know if I'll wear it often, but the memory is powerful and this scent is lovely.

In the bottle: I'm not the biggest patchouli fan, but I can stand it in some things. Like I think that it's perfectly lovely in Wilde. It's a little stronger in this, and I think the palmarose must be that kinda of sticky floral that I'm smelling because it doesn't remind me of any of the other rose blends I have. I'm also not detecting the sandalwood yet, which is another scent I have to be careful around. Wet: Patchouli! Quickly, something else come out to temper this please. I don't know. It reminds me of more hippie incense, which is nice in and of itself except for the fact that it often gives me killer headaches. There's still that odd floral scent under the stronger patchouli and even the merest breathe of the sandalwood. Dry down: A little sweeter but I'm still reminded of little shops filled with incense and fertility statues. There's a slight hint of my lovely rose. But...I think I'm allergic to this, too, which saddens me as it was a freebie from a very lovely forumite. Hi, sandalwood, how have you been? I'm glad you're here, now can you please relax just a little? In order to get to the dry stage I'm going to go bloat the sheen off my wrist. Dry: Okay, that's better. Now the patchouli and the sandalwood are playing very nicely together. This is a very womanly, sex scent, which means that I can't really give it to the boy without feeling terribly weird about the whole situation. He doesn't mind smelling like florals but it kinda puts me off. And there's just the hint of my roses. I think this might be a lovely room fragrance but on me it's too strong and headache inducing.

In the bottle: I can detect both the fruit and the rose geranium in this. I also love the nice red color of the oil. It doesn't seem like Rage to me, though. It's more of a nice semi-sweet floral scent. Wet: There's the dragon's blood, which makes it seem a little more like rage. I admit that I have no clue as to what melati smells like, but I can still make out the nice sweet fruit scents in it. The rose geranium has been overpowered by the other notes in this. Dry down: Dragon's blood and the rose geranium. The fruit flavors have moved to the back of the scent leaving the scent darker and more robust rather than the somewhat sweet note it had before. I can also note the amber. I'm not sure if amber and I get along quite yet. It always seems to want to be stronger than I like the things I wear to be. Dry: Lots of dragon's blood and amber in this. I'm not a big fan or it. Not because it's not nice, just because it's not very me. I'm sure this would be a beautful scent on someone who was more appreciative of both the amber and the dragon's blood. The rose geranium is also a nice mix in this but something is giving me the slightest bit of a headache and making my nose run. This would be a nice incense, but I can't have it around if I'm allergic to it.

In the bottle: Very green. I can detect both the pine and the rosewood, I believe. It's strong with a rich yellow scent to it that might be either the amber or the vanilla. Wet: Mmmm, vanilla goodness with that touch of darker pine and maybe some of the rosewood. This is most definitely a blend for the boy. I just wanted to snatch it away from him long enough to review it. Pine, pine, pine but fresh and not at all like smelling like a bottle of Pine-Sol. Dry down: Pine with just the faintest touch of that vanilla scent. There's a hint of the others smell but I'm not adapt enough to pick them out. Dry: Pine and rosewood.. The vanilla's kind of gone but the amber is perking back up. It's unbelieveable how much better this smells on my boy. Why does my skin want me to smell like a forest? Oh well, at least I'm not allergic to it. I won't be wearing this one, but the boy can. And I did steal his imp in order to review it.

In the bottle: Roses mellowed out by something else. Also kinda musky. It makes the back of my throat tickle when I smell it. Wet: Musk. I feel myself wanting to break out in a rendition of "You and me baby ain't nothing but mammels..." There's the amber scent under the musk but on me this is totally musky, which I'm not the biggest fan of. Dry down: Musk and amber. Where are the pretty roses? Hi, amber, nice of you to visit. Oh, what is that? The musk is getting muskier. I really don't think I can wear this. Dry: I smell like those hippie stores with the thick incense. I'm sure the rose scent will come out eventually but I can't wait. This really isn't the kind of scent I'd ever pick for myself.

The Dark Side of Water: clean and purifying, yet menacing -- lotus and juniper with a hint of mint. A scent dragged up from the depths to the Stygian shore. In the bottle: Mint and something with more of an edge to it. I don't know if that's the lotus or the juniper. I think it's the lotus. It does bring to mind deep, dark blue waters rolling with underknown dangers. Wet: Oh, well, this is interesting. It reminds me of a Halls throat drop in that the vapors hit me in the back of the throat again. Is that the lotus? This is stronger than I had antipicated. Also the mint is pretty strong peppermint it seems to me. This is a meaner, more concentrated version of Shattered to me. Dry down: Still reminds me of a Halls drop. Hmmm. I can still envision that deep blue water, but I don't really want to smell like this. Plus, it's making me sneeze. Dry: Uh oh, can't really do this well as this scent is making me congested for some reason. It's not a bad scent. It's just too strong on me. It hits the back of my throat with all the mint. I'll let the boy take it back. Headache. Headache. This might have to leave both me and the boy.

In the bottle: Light floral that has a breath of spice to it. Unfortunately, it also has a slight soap smell to it. Wet: It loses most of the soap scent once it goes on and ups the spice a little. I think it's the carnation that's spicy. It's generally a nice floral. Seems very pink to me, though, and I wish it was a little more sweet than spicy. (ETA: I just put some on my right wrist and it smells much sweeter there. My skin is so weird. It still isn't really a "me" scent, though.) Dry down: Spicy floral. Apparently, my skin doesn't want to eat the carnation. There's a slight breath of the scent I associate with sweet pea, thanks to some liquid soap I have, but the predominant note (I think) is the carnation as I'm not exactly sure what water lilies smell like. The spice seems a little heavy for the character of Desdemona, so I'm going to blame the power of it on my skin. Bad skin. Dry: Is it possible for it to be spicy and powdery at the same time? That soap idea is becoming prominent again but it may just be my internal assocation with the sweet pea to the liquid soap I have at home. I wish this was a little lighter, a litter sweeter and a little more watery on me. It's a pretty fragrance, but it just isn't me, especially not the way my skin is choosing to present it. I'll probably give this another wear a little later on just to be sure, but this is probably going in my swap section.

In the bottle: I get a light tea scent with a breath of cirtus in it. Earl Grey with lemon, a biscuit on the edge of the plate. I do enjoy these tea scents. Wet: Heavenly Earl Grey speaking of refinement and beautiful things. I don't like drinking this tea but, my God, it smells so damn good. There's a darker shade of scent behind the fresh, blossom of Earl Grey, but I cannot discern what it is. Dry down: This one dries kinda fast. Remains Earl Grey and a tiny bit of cirtus. I do love this. It's not the same OMG! love that was Dormouse mostly because this tea scent requires some polite discretion, but I do believe that this is a scent I'd be willing to wear around all day. It stays pretty true on me, too. Dry: I am a pompus English Lord, look at my powdered wing so fine. (No offense to any people who happen to be British. It's just the image in my head, very Monty Python-esque.) I drink my tea. It's Earl Grey, and I love it. Oh, the citrus is getting a little stronger now without detracting from that heavely tea smell. I must, I must, I must obtain imps of all of Beth's tea blends because OMG so good.
-
In the bottle: Incense. This one could be a problem for me as most incense gives me a splitting headache. Hmm...I'm tempted to skip this for now but I'm on a roll so... Wet: Gah, too much. Oh, my god, what have you been putting in your cathedral? Incense but also...it smells like the earth, like grass growing and just clay. This to me is a very brown scent. It evokes images of brown pews made of wood. An old catherdal in olden days. Dirt on the floor, relics in the altar, dead priests in the walls. Like Lincoln Cathedral. With the light wafting on incense. Dry down: (This does not want to dry much so I'm blotting some off as I smeared my wrist to the point where it resembles an oil slick.) This reminds me of the moss scent that was so prevalent when I put Bayou on only this blend is giving me a headache. It's not bad. It's a very visual oil in that it brings lots of images into the forefront of my mind. Now it reminds me of the poem about abandoned churches where the man wanders through their bones thinking about what people in the future will think when they see the rubble. Dry: More of the incense is peeking out. It gives it a very slight lemon note, but I still smell dirt and moss and maybe a trace of whispy smoke rising from candles on the altar. The click of rosary beads in the darkness as someone lights incense and prays. It's not that I don't like it. I think it's an expert blend and shows very fine craftsmanship. But I don't like it either. And I think I'm slightly allergic to one of the notes, which means that this is going into my swap section. Now I can smell some resin and wood peeking out. And it's itching. Washing off now
-
In the bottle: Chocolate covered cherries. Weird. I guess it must be the wood scents blending in with the cherry. I'm not the biggest fan of cherries, though. Wet: Cherry, currant and the chocolate smell again. It's nice in a very, "Eat me" kind of way, but it's also a really, really dark scent to me. It's kinda lush and full and deep if that makes sense. Dry down: The wood smell is beginning to show up around the edges but that sweet cherry is still the predominant note in the mix. I think this does fit the Red Queen, very dark and rich and decandant. Only now the cherry is fading away and I find myself smelling like the curio cabinets at a furniture store. Dry: Wood. Wood, wood wood. With just an afterthought of that sweet fruit scent. It's not that I don't like the way wood smells. I do as long as I'm not allergic to it. I just don't really like the idea of smelling like wood myself. I like my cedar chest to smell like cedar, I like my bookcase to smell like whatever kind of wood it's made out of. I'm just not a fan of smelling like it myself. Oh well. The initial dark fruity scent was nice, but I don't think I'd want to smell like that all day either. A little too heavy for me. I'll see if the boy wants Red Queen. If not, I'll probably swap it.

In the bottle: Spilled. Spilled on my chair and my face and my hand. One sec. Tea with lemon in a little cup that has pin flowers on the rim of it. And a touch of sugar to sweeten it. Wet: This is very nice. It's light and bright. The tea and the herbs combine effortlessly to form a very light green/light brown scent, the way I picture of cup of herbal tea after having been brewed. (I admit that I have no idea what peony smells like so I cannot tell you if I can detect it.) There's still that citrus note, but I think I might just be interpreting the herbs as being lemony. This makes me want to go back to Ireland and score some of their breakfast tea. So good. Dry down: The herbs seem almost more prominent than the tea now. It still smells really good, though. These are the kind of scents I go for, the lighter herbal/floral blends. No, there's the tea. With milk. So good. I want cookies to go with my wrist. Dry: The tea is more prominent again now. I'm going to have to get imps of all the blends with tea in them because it is one of my most favorite smells in the world. And it actually seems to work pretty well on me judging from this one. I'm not as head over heels as I was for Wilde, but I find myself relaxing and feeling comforted, the way you do after a nice cup of tea. The only problem is that the scent is starting to fade away a little now. The herbs are still present but faintly. I can see myself buying a bigger bottle of this.
-
In the bottle: Hi, put me on a boy! I'm really nice smelling and you know you want to bury your face into a neck that smells like this. Please, put me on a boy. Smells so good but instantly makes me think boy. Wet: (It almost seems wrong to put it on my female wrist). This smells like the green tea lotion that I got as a present one year at Christmas. It's not all green tea, but it has the same sharp crispness that that did. Maybe I could wear this after all. It's so nice and herbal on me, so fresh and green and screaming of life and running through verdant meadows laughing. There is a nice lime kind of undertone on this. Dry down: Well, hello tonka bean. I had almost doubted your existence. There's some moss, too, but it's not reacting the same way that the moss in Bayou did. Now this is a calmer, more sedate green. That darker green that lounges around your feet in the afternoon. The florals provide a nice undertone without becoming overpowering. Rather they just provide a depth to the greenery. This is so lovely. I'm not sure my boy will like it, though, and it might be too masculine for me. Dry: Still green tea and lavender. I'm completely in love with this blend. It may have masculine phases but I'm keeping it. I have a hard time finding green scents that don't make my nose and allergies run for the hills, but this is one of them. It's strong while still having a light, playful hand. Even that hint of patchouli isn't bothering me. I love this. Love it. Love it. I'll have to wear it a little more to see if I can pull it off. If I can, big bottle for me. I want Wilde lotion.
-
In the bottle: Something wooden and burning. Like the campfires I've gathered around. Or the fire we started in Kaity's fireplace in order to burn things in. There's something else under it like a floral or the barest hint of something herbal. Wet: It's trees burning. The smell of pages on fire. Twigs and green leaves on a roaring blaze. It's green and fierce. Masculine with something more gentle underneath the rest of it. Like mint or maybe cedar. Dry down: Kindling, Burning pieces of wood. I like this because of the memories it evokes, but I think it's too strong for me. I'd rather smear this on the boy and cuddle into his neck. Dry: Still the wood on fire scent but also an odd aquatic tilt to it. I really like this, but it's not me. If the boy likes it on him as much as I think I'll like it on him I'm buying a bigger bottle.
-
In the bottle: Yep. Pomegranate martini. Very crisp, very fruity and very sweet with just the slightest tinge of alcohol. I have this image of a martini glass filled with a rich, deep red liquid and a cherry rather than an olive in it. Wet: Release the fruit. Seriously strong, sweet pomegranate with just the tinge of something citrus, like pineapple or grapefruit. Dry down: Gummy worms. Pomegranate flavored gummy worms. This has the same chemical fruit smell that gummy worms do, which is fine because I love me some gummy worms. Still that faint alcohol scent to the back of it. Also sweet and fruity still. Dry: Gummy worms. Hmmm. I like gummy worms. I love to eat them. I also like pomegranates and martinis and sugar. But the prevailing scent on my is gummy worms. The pomegranate stayed much more true on my mother's skin when I let her try it. It's not that I don't like the scent. I just confused as to whether I should start eating myself or enjoy the scent. This goes into the "Try it again because I like it but I haven't decided whether I want to smell like it category."
-
In the bottle: Berries and grass with just the smallest hint of something sweet, probably from the berries. It reminds me of picking strawberries at my grandparent's farm when I was younger. And later picking wild blackberries with neighbor children. Wet: Hmmm. On it has an almost citrus scent which could be coming from the grass, I suppose. Or the flowers, depending on the flowers. It's not that lemon citrus scent. More of a grapefruit kind of tartness. Dry down: I smell like freshly mown grass with a kick of a floral. Lilac or lily perhaps, maybe a hint of jasmine. Where are the berries? I loveded you, berries. I loveded you. (Too much Invader Zim.) Dry: Floral. Floral. With a touch of powder that might have been the grass before it turned to a light powder. I don't like it. I don't dislike it. It's just kind of here. It kinds reminds me of a floral air freshener. I was hoping that this would be a berry version of Titania so instead of smelling like candied pear and peach, I'd smell like candied blackberry. Grass again. Hmmm. I'm not really impressed. My skin likes to leave the floral behind so I guess it ate all the berries. Bad skin. Unless something changes next time I wear it, I won't be buying a larger bottle of this. ETA: Fading fast. Mayday. Mayday. This would probably be nice in some lotion. So I might buy some unscented and play around with it.

In the bottle: Hello, lemony fresh floral. There's definitely sandalwood and lemon in there. Thankfully, however, the lemon isn't like the citrus in Calliope where I was all, "Run away" and the sandalwood seems tame and holy. I can imagine a Catholic church freshly cleaned with candles and incense burning, flowers on the altar. Wet: Holy lemon, Batman. No really, lemony goodness. Lemon, lemon, lemon. And more lemon. I smell like they just pledged the church. Dry down: Hmmm...there's the slight whiff of sandalwood again along with...yeah, jasmine. A whole lot of jasmine. Bunches of fresh jasmine in nice sandalwood vases being carried along the pews that have been freshly cleaned with lemon scented cleaner. And the lemon fades away when faced with all that jasmine. Dry: The jasmine and lily notes are now pretty prominent. However, these florals seem to have out powered everything else in the mix thus far. That strong majestic lemon has died down to an under note. I still smell like some kind of holy cleaner, though. Dry after ten minutes: Um, scent? Are you there? My skin seems to have decided that it wants to eat the Ave Maria, which seems a little blasphemous to me. There's still the tiniest bit of a lemon/floral when I inhale directly on my wrists. This is sad because even with the holy cleaner image, I still really like this one. Oh, wait, barest trace of sandalwood. Really, this scent just seems to run the gauntlet on my skin each of its notes burning out fast. I'm undecided as to whether I want to buy a larger bottle. I really like this scent, but the duration of it disappoints me.

In the bottle: Mead flavored bubble gum. With some spice to it. Well, this might not be so bad after all. Wet: Still has that nice, spicy mead flavored bubble gum kick. (Dubba Bubble for those of you wondering, the heavily sugared, pink kind.) The undernotes of the spice must be those wood branches but, thankfully, I'm not allergic to them. This smells like Christmas and wine and sticks of wood. Dry down: The sweet kinda goes away leaving the sharp spicey notes and more of that wood scent. I'm thinking that cinnamon kick might be the dragon's blood. This is a warm, festive scent that makes me think of crowded halls full of smoking pipes and wine and loud voices. It's also one of those warm oils. Dry: Little hint of the sweet in the background, but mostly that spicey wine scent that prevails. I like this one. But it seems to be a good winter scent as in the summer I think it would be too hot for me. It reminds me of the wassel we made one year in Foods class in high school. I smell yummy. I doubt I'll ever buy a big bottle (unless the boy really likes it), but the imp and I will have fun throughout the holidays as this is the perfect scent to wear when it's cold and you need a little pick me up. ETA: I may be getting a big bottle of this. It's a nice warmer scent for me. Titania is my cold scent, this could be my warm.

In the bottle: Moss and water. A very Louisana scent with the humidity in the air and the green dragonflys buzzing around your head while you fish at the edge of the Mississippi River. Slight hint of a floral, perhaps honeysuckle in there as well. Whatever it is provides a nice sweet edge to the moss and water scents. Wet: Honeysuckle in the middle of the night. Very strong with the moss providing a base under it. And another floral as well, something stronger...maybe magnolia. It reminds me of playing hide and go seek on a night in December when it still wasn't cold enough for me to have to wear a jacket. Dry down: I think the moss starts to take over as it dries down. I seem to have an aversion to either the moss or the other florals in this as once it dries down it smells less appealing. Dry: Moss scented soap with that slight bite of the other floral that I don't like quite as much as the honeysuckle. It doesn't smell bad. It just isn't what I want to smell like. also the water smell seems to become stronger. I'm not terribly allergic to it the way I ended up being with Dublin, I just don't really care for it. I'm thinking that the water/moss scents will smell good on the boy, though, and so I'm hoping that he likes it.
