I have to say that after reading the reviews here yesterday, I was a little bit wary to try this. However, no burning or welts for me, hooray! I'd ordered this one to test my opinion of almond scents. So far, I've liked all the ones I've tried quite a lot (Hecate, Port au Prince), and I do like cinnamon as well. And I am not dissapointed in Inferno, either! At first it is really just overpoweringly cinamon, but the almond insidiously blossoms underneath it, and rounds out the scent. The neroli adds a bit of sweetness to take the edge of the heat and bitterness of the other ingredients. My only complaint is that it doesn't last too terribly long. Ahh well... I'll just have to put on some more!

Every once in a while, I'll go to put on a scent that I love and the through will strike me... 'have I reviewed this?" In the case of Haunted, apparently not Well, here goes then Right out of the bottle, I get a scent of amber(gris?), and lemon, and musk, and something really sweet and sharp. I should that my nose cannot tell the difference between amber and ambergris, which is maybe not that surprising It is a dark heavy scent, that doesn't change a whole lot on me (although the lemon fades), but I really like it , and it is on my 'bottle list'

Wet and in the bottle: ....This smells like root beer to me... how bizzare. I had to check the scent description again to see if there was any sassafrass in it, and then I was even more confused. I can get a hint of the cedar, though, once I know to look for it. Dry: Okay, it is still sweet, but spicier, though I cna't distinguish the notes. There is no cedar for me, though. It's sweet, light, and refreshing.... like root beer ;D I really don't know why I'm getting that particular scent from this, considering the actual notes! Still, I like it enough to use up my imp, but probably won't buy a big bottle. It isn't a particularly *strong* scent, either. I can still smell it several hours later, but only if I sniff for it.

In the bottle, and at first application, I am overwhelmed by the evergreen scent... it's like pine sap, or freshly bruised needles. It is very sharp, and almost a little too harsh. As it dries, though, it mellows out, and there is something sweet underneath it. I can smell the lemon, but it is like a candy-lemon, or like a sweet lemon tea, and there is still just a hint of something else, which dulls the sharpness of the evergreen and citrus... No idea what it is! I do like this scent, at least enough to use up the rest of the imp, but I don't know if it is going on the bottle list.

I thought I'd reviewed this here, but realized the other day that I hadn't. However,. I was having one of those days where my skin was turning *everything* to powder, so I had to wait. I got Omen in my first order, and it was the first scent that I bought a bottle of. I loev it dearly. On me, is smells very 'woodsy'. The juniper berry and oakmoss reign supreme. I remember the first time I put it on.... I thought "hey, this smells kind of like Deep Woods Off..." (a mosquito repellant And then I had to add "only *SEXY*!" There is something very sharp about this scent to me, like a warning should be. When I sniff it, it commands all my sense to attention, and also other parts of my body chemistry. My ex could not stop sniffing it and said it made him want to ravish me on the spot. Of course, that never took much with him, so, take that as you will! This is still in my top favourite scents, and is the one I wear most regularly. I find that it lasts quite well on me and is not too overpowering even though it is quite sharp.

I got this as a swap. I really wanted to like it! And I do... however, it has absolutely no staying power on me. I put it on right as I was leaving the house this morning, and I never noticed it all day, and when I sniffed for it - nothing The amazing dissappearing perfume! In the bottle I will second other people; it is like citrus and freshly cut grass...

Hrm, I thought I'd posted my review here a little while ago, but it isn't showing up, so I'll try again! This smells, both in the bottle and on me, like chocolate cookies. The chocolate-covered mint girl guide cookies. I *know* there isn't any mint, but that's the best analogy I can make. Mmmm... cookies... This smell makes me want to gnaw my hands off at the wrist! Slightly more seriously, I can pick out the sandalwood, but it is very much subsumed by the chocolate-vanilla scent, and winds up making me think of baked goods, even after a few hours. I really like this scent, but I don't know if I will wear it much as a perfume, unless I am trying to attract boys who share my love of cookies. It's good to have common interests!

Maybe I'm crazy, but I *didn't* recognize grapefruit right off. Then again, I can't remember the last time I sniffed any grapefruit. Maybe I'm out of practice The one note that I picked out most clearly from this was the ambergris. I really like it, in any case! I found that when I first put it on, and in the bottle, it really made me think of the smell/taste of the children's asprin that you used to be able to get. Now that I've looked in here though, I can definitely pick out the grapefruit. What a nice combination! I'm sure there must be other things in there too, but I like it! The ambergris really mutes the grapefruit, and makes it a heavier scent, but with just a slice of sharpness.
