freshly applied: this is very fruity on me, but a red candy fruitiness - very sweet, but balanced by a bitter undertone. I compare this to ... don't kick me off the boards ... Hawai'ian Punch with Rum and Bitters, but in a good way! drydown: four hours later, this is still strong on me though not overpoweringly so. Funny thing, my chemistry is normally bad for rose so I don't wear it even though I like the scent ... Lolita's drydown smells like rose on me! Not pure rose, but rosy, with a sweet dry candy mood to it. The bitterness hasn't lasted, but neither has the "punch" (pun intended!) I like this one - it's playful. I may not go for the larger size, but I will keep my imp's ear!

Sometimes on those lovely mornings after a wicked "night before" I am not feeling so wonderful :oops: ... Phantasm has become my saviour. The lemon is so fresh yet so soft, it's relaxing and comforting but most important - I feel like I am enveloped by fresh, clean, crisp air. Really great when those fuggy dizzy icky spells come on!

I found that too, Minouska! I would have expected an entirely different scent from those components. Initial application: wet earth, like a cold fall morning just after it's rained Drydown: still earthy, and still fall, but like a walk in the woods I like that it's not sweet, I like the woodiness of it ... may not buy a larger size, but I will definitely keep the sample on hand. I find it very peaceful, very restful. ADDED Feb. 4: I'm posting again because I wore this last night and got a different impression! The lemony aspect came out, and ... almost ... just a slight peppery whiff. It was still woody but didn't strike me as being earthy this time. I really like this one - big bottle in my future!
