THE SECOND OF THE THREE SPIRITS The moment Scrooge’s hand was on the lock, a strange voice called him by his name, and bade him enter. He obeyed. It was his own room. There was no doubt about that. But it had undergone a surprising transformation. The walls and ceiling were so hung with living green, that it looked a perfect grove; from every part of which, bright gleaming berries glistened. The crisp leaves of holly, mistletoe, and ivy reflected back the light, as if so many little mirrors had been scattered there; and such a mighty blaze went roaring up the chimney, as that dull petrification of a hearth had never known in Scrooge’s time, or Marley’s, or for many and many a winter season gone. Heaped up on the floor, to form a kind of throne, were turkeys, geese, game, poultry, brawn, great joints of meat, sucking-pigs, long wreaths of sausages, mince-pies, plum-puddings, barrels of oysters, red-hot chestnuts, cherry-cheeked apples, juicy oranges, luscious pears, immense twelfth-cakes, and seething bowls of punch, that made the chamber dim with their delicious steam. In easy state upon this couch, there sat a jolly Giant, glorious to see; who bore a glowing torch, in shape not unlike Plenty’s horn, and held it up, high up, to shed its light on Scrooge, as he came peeping round the door. “Come in!” exclaimed the Ghost. “Come in! and know me better, man!” Scrooge entered timidly, and hung his head before this Spirit. He was not the dogged Scrooge he had been; and though the Spirit’s eyes were clear and kind, he did not like to meet them. “I am the Ghost of Christmas Present,” said the Spirit. “Look upon me!” Scrooge reverently did so. It was clothed in one simple green robe, or mantle, bordered with white fur. This garment hung so loosely on the figure, that its capacious breast was bare, as if disdaining to be warded or concealed by any artifice. Its feet, observable beneath the ample folds of the garment, were also bare; and on its head it wore no other covering than a holly wreath, set here and there with shining icicles. Its dark brown curls were long and free; free as its genial face, its sparkling eye, its open hand, its cheery voice, its unconstrained demeanour, and its joyful air. Girded round its middle was an antique scabbard; but no sword was in it, and the ancient sheath was eaten up with rust. Pine boughs, plum pudding, spiced pears, sugared chestnuts, punch floated with oranges, boughs of holly, and myrica berries. In the bottle this is absolutely FOODY. Its hard to pick out any particular note and on first sniff it starts off sweet and ends with a spicy note. I'm loving this so far. Once on, the spiced pears leap out then let the boughs of holly and pine through to say 'hai'. Then their is a faintness of the plum pudding. Basically, this scent embodies the moment when you curl up next to your christmas pine as a boutiful dinner is brought out from the kitchen. This scent is foody, yes, but the spice and pine is there enough that I'd say that those who dont utterly dispise foody scents may be fine with this one. This bottle is WIN for me

I got my Yules today and it had the same label as the one in the photo, which also matches a description post above. And my Snowflakes bottle was the same kind of look as the Snow White label... so I dont think there are multiple labels for the yules. Maybe Pink Snowballs is a mutant with a unique label?

Holloween: Trick or treat this year! Last year it was Samhain. Fall: Lambs-Wool (which lasts and lasts on me), Samhain, Gingerbread Poppet, and Trick or Treat. Christmas: A toss up between Snow White and Nuclear Winter (last year it was Winter) Winter: Gingerbread poppet, Rose Red (who never lasts...) and Nuclear Winter I would wear Snow White all the time but...I have to limit myself I have a backup for my 2007 bottle but I fear running out of her beauty.... Which is why having the room spray was such a neccesity C:

Almond and I dont get along A LOT. But I still wanted to try Bite Me because...its vampire related and I needed to.... But alas, almond freaked out on me again, with the adition of my sometimes-enemy, caramel, this blend was doomed to fail. I get a strong, sickly smell of florals (yes, almond becomes florally on me, why I dont know.) and it overpowers all the other decants, including Sugar moon that I kinda smothered. This is a big NO for me. Away with thee! >OMG! now that I read one of the other reviews, yeah, the rose is like...beast in this thing.

Its wonderfully sweet with an edge of smokyness, I realllyyy like it. It envokes a sence of fall beautifully while not being foody. This is probrably a bottle for me! 5/5

Wow. If there was ever a blend that would make you smell of bonfires, this is it! Its good but Im not sure if its an everyday kind of blend....but it layers AMAZINGLY with Trick or treat. Hmm...decisions....

Caramel and me usually have a very odd relationship. Sometimes we're wonderful together...other times it becomes chaos. Luckily, in creepy it is a pleasant, as mentioned above, starbucks-ey kind of caramel apple goodness. Its defenently a sweeter blend but it doesnt smell too foody for me. 3/5, because caramel is a sneak.

The apple in Poison apple was always to soapy on me, while Fearful Pleasure was a very mighty apple that could crush you. The apple in Lambs wool is a sweet, lovely apple. Remenescent of Poison apple but...better. It deffenently evokes the idea of fall. I might have to get a bottle....

Alice why!? This becomes a gross prune juice on me blanketed with what smells like some of my moms potpouri. Shame, because I liked both of the other Alice scents ;.;

To me this is mostly strawberry and watermelon with light gardenia in the background. I was a bit nervous at first because typically flowers like gardenia become floral beasts on me but not with this blend It also carried an undertone similiar to crawdad dream, almost aquatic but not quite.

This really does smell like thin mints! After the dry down on me it mostly becomes the mint which smells similiar to the pennyroyal in Mad Hatter. Too bad my skin soacked up the chocolate-ness...

Oh, this one good. REALLY GOOD. The melon is really all you can smell in this one and I like it (sence my earth rat began acting funny on me). The mind and green tea make a good untertone in the scent to. I realyyyy love it.

This actually smells A LOT like the BPAL aniversary secnt we just had that was Alice themed. It carried that sweet gum like smell to it. If Dorian was spilt on bublegum then this is what it would smell like. I know thats not a very beutiful depicion but thats what it reminds me of This realy is perfect for summer.

'It isn't manners for us to begin, you know,' said the Rose, `and I really was wondering when you'd speak! Said I to myself, "Her face has got some sense in it, thought it's not a clever one!" Still, you're the right colour, and that goes a long way.' `I don't care about the colour,' the Tiger-lily remarked. `If only her petals curled up a little more, she'd be all right.' Red rose, oud, plum, bergamot, and red sandalwood. In the imp its mostly sandalwood with a little bergamot. No rose to been seen..er...smelt. 0.0 Strangly enough the rose isnt what I smell most of after putting it on. Its mostly bergamot with a bit of oud and plum. The rose I do detect is slightly soapy. This defently is different then Red Rose, which carries a very pure rose scent to it. In snooty rose its more sophisticated or snooty before the roseyness. Its not bad 3/5. I'm keeping the imp but its not bottleworthy for me.

So, I bought two of the Past yuletide packs last year and I've been using only one of the spray bottles until recently. I grabbed the wrong one and I figured I might as well spray away and instead of smelling gingerbread and pine it was in your face spiced oranges, the scent for the present spray describes. Is there any way that it was mislabeled?
