So perfect and spicy carnation I got 4 bottles... Exactly the rich, spicy, hits you on the back of the tongue scent of real red carnations. Wonderful. Lasts longer in my hair than my skin but that's with most oils anyways,

I just received this so it may be different when it calms but: in the bottle: Thick, wet red rose. sort of like Peacock Queen but THICK wet: Thick, wet, rose with a tiny bit of something underneath that gives richness Dry: Thick, ROSE It's like Peacock Queen on steroids. I love it. I was hoping for more vetiver but that may come when the bottle calms.

This is really yummily smoky with a hint of wood, a nice mix of lilly and rose with just the faintest of occasional juicy grape jam reminders on the back of your nose. I like it.
-
Ultraswim soaps and shampoo take the chlorine right out for me.
-
I only get a faint buzz of gardenia from this and not much else. I didn't get an energy hit that I noticed or anything else. I'll have to come back to this one a bit later.

So far this is the only 13 to show any cocoa on me at all. in the bottle, wet and dry are all the same for me, a close to the skin incensy cadbury drinking chocolate with just a tiny bit of patchouli.

vanilla yankee candle ADDED May 22: One man's Yankee Candle is another's Wow Found This In My Car and Boy Do I Love It! lol. I think it is perfectly adorable, smells like lemon pound cake. LOl it's so staying at yours I'll just sniff you.

I find the bats not particularly lemony at all (cue disappointment) I like Phantasm for my refreshing lemon. I haven't found anything to top it. Embalming fluid is nice but vanishes too fast. This Shuga set has Tea which was very ningmun cha quite heavy on the clear lemon.

Sticky-sweet iced lemon sugar! This reminds me of Phobos. It has the same quick, sharp hit of mouth watering lemon then the sort of breakfast cereal thing happens. It's less here than on Phobos but I really don't like it. At least on my skin. I will have to try it on hair and scent locket to see if that annoying underlying cereal smell goes away. I think I'll stick with Phantasm for my nummy lemon.

I get a VIOLET tea with a minty background. Good staying power but it's a very sweet, almost violet pastille like, violet. I was hoping for tea and citrus. No luck there.

as an aside Rose Red 07, 08 &10 seem consistent to me. (I have a total of 19 bottles of this. I do not ever want to run out...)

Just as an aside, 2007, 2009 and 2010 seem to be consistent across the years.

I laughed when I saw the imps. The art is hilarious and the sense of humour behind it is perfect Sadly on opening, alls I got was a horrifying, cloying, burnt butterscotch pudding. I couldn't cap it up fast enough.
-
Honestly, I do not like how this smells at all. Something goes horrifically wrong on me in that vanilla/amber way. That being said... Boy does this stuff WORK.
-
wet: juicy pomegranate dry: juicy pomegranate with subtle woods later: datey, lavendary, woods Yum. And it's lasted all day all be it it's a close to the skin scent.
-
Excellent bedtime minty lavender. Puts me right out and I absolutely love it.
-
Wet: Charms sour cherry lolly. Completer with stick. Dry: Cinnamon hearts burns the cherry right off. Later on, the lolly returns, only it's sweet cherry... then it rotates with the cinnamon hearts, to and fro. I love it! Makes my mouth water right up.

not for me at all. Baby Powder and fake coconut unpleasentness. :cry2:not for me at all. Baby Powder and fake coconut unpleasentness.

bottle: lemon hit! Then the honey curls in. wet: The lemon makes my mouth water and the rising cardamom helps it along. Dry: I smell like Entemann's crumb cake. Yum.

Imp, wet and dry all the same. A musky champaca with an undertone of wax... A little goes a loooooooooooooooooooong way, which is nice so I won't need a backup bottle. It lasts forever on me too. It reminds me of something but I can't remember what, only I know I like it... odd.

metaldog32 and I got pretty much the same thing. I too was hoping for a nice Lilac scent but on me this is a light lavender/floral that fades quite swiftly. No lilac at all.

Woodsy camphor and a bit of berry juiciness. It's sour juiciness tho, almost unpleasant. Very woodsy like Snowstorm 07 or Loup Garou w/o the mint. Decent bit of throw. Not one I like, but interesting.

Camphor. Camphor and thyme with a bare undercurrent of powdered drinking chocolate. Interesting.Doesn't change at all. No throw on me either but it is holding. Not my cup of tea but interesting.Camphor. Camphor and thyme with a bare undercurrent of powdered drinking chocolate. Interesting.Doesn't change at all. No throw on me either but it is holding. imp: spices wet: very light bergamot with... what... oh caraway. dry: tobacco-y light caraway. Oh huff there's that taste of saffron. Interesting. Dry and spicy but sort of unremarkable. A bit on the masculine side. No throw and did not last at all on me. I had to huff.
