Smooth, clean (but not dryer sheet or Irish Spring soap) green, clover-y. Yankee makes a fantastic candle called "Greenhouse," and this smells just like it.

Totally hot unisex pirate-y goodness. Mmmm ocean and leather and wood.

Buttery vanilla cakes and fried things (funnel cake?). It starts out plastic-y, but that goes away once it dries. This is the only BPAL scent I own multiple bottles of.

Holy crap, this is GOOOOOD. Root beer float with a slight earthiness. I bought an imp of this after someone on LJ said it smelled like Black Lace on her. It doesn't smell like BL on me, but I truly dig this.

Pretty floral incense... sliiiightly generic Dollar Store-ish if I put too much on.

An all-time favorite scent of mine. Spicy autumnal cranberries with a little lily. I love to wear this when the weather is fricking freezing outside The color of the oil is delightful too...dark, rich berry, like cough syrup.

Underpants is the first Monsterbait I purchased (pretty much just for the name). On me, it's all toothache-inducing buttercream frosting. I just barely make out the saffron. I've noticed that, as the day wears on, it seems to get stronger and sweeter. I don't *hate* it, but I prefer a tiny dab of Underbed or Tokyo Stomp.

Spicy chocolate cake.... SUPREMELY foody. I find that if I put more than a tiny, tiny droplet on my decollete, it becomes overpoweringly sweet. But I dig it in moderation I actually prefer this to Underpants.

Such a fantastic spring scent... very light, delicate, watery tulips and grass. It kind of reminds me of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B., but less perfumey and more natural-smelling.

Oy. What can I add about Dorian that hasn't already been said? Before I made my very first lab order (3 imp packs), I read a review of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab on some perfume website. The reviewer said that a BPAL virgin absolutely MUST try Dorian, so I did. It ended up being my first 5 ml bottle, and it eventually ended up being the first 5 ml I used up completely and had to reorder. Dorian is sexy, dangerous, and sophisticated at the same time. It's proper and ladylike, but with a slight masculinity. Sometimes it's more sugared tea on me, sometimes it's more citrus. EVERYONE must try this scent.

I got a decant of Shub from a swap. I know there's been discussions comparing the original Shub with the newer/resurrected one. I don't detect any lemon in this, so it must be an older/aged decant. That being said, it's divine... spicy, gingery, a little peppery. It makes me feel like a dangerous broad. Also, it smells like how I WANTED Gingerbread Poppet to smell (more spicy, intense, less, um, frosted). I just placed a big lab order three days ago, and now I wish I had waited so I could get a bottle of this. Yeah, I don't think I can wait. I'm ordering this tonight.

Holy crow, this is S-E-X-Y. It's creamy, lush, decadent with the barest bit of teak underneath. My boss complimented me on it today, and I *almost* told him the name... ALMOST. Glowing V. is definitely my number one "orgasmically good" BPAL. It kind of makes me want to moan when I smell it.

Upon application, this smells like Irish Spring soap/generic dryer sheets to me. It's not unpleasant, but it's not really "me." Then, about 5 minutes later, it's delicious apple orchard. It fades quickly, so I have to re-apply often.

Absolutely stunning! Tied with Dorian for my all-time favorite. It's incensey and vanilla, creamy and warm. I wish I had enough to wear every day.

I really dig this Yule. There's a definite strength to it (my Dad remarked, "woo, that's strong!"), but it's not offensive. He smelled it right after I put it on, so I think the strength is mostly right on application. It dries to a tasty treat (though I don't detect any orange peel). This could be one of my man-catchers (the way to his heart is through his stomach, right??? wink)

I honestly can't tell the difference between Snow White '08 and Dana O'Shee. I put one on each wrist, and they're identical. I like Dana, but I really wanted Snow white to be more clean, snowy (maybe ozone-y is the word I want). Sigh.

I really like this. I agree with the "fizzy" reviews. If you've ever smelled Demeter's Ginger ale spray, this is just like it. Fizzy, nose tingly ginger ale.
