Sugar Skull 2004 In the bottle: Brown sugar, melted. Oh god, so good. Wet: Wow, this has some throw! It's lovely though. Very sugary. Slightly foody, but not too much. Just delicious and sweet. Lasts forever!

In the bottle: Sugar! Reminds me a lot of Candy Phoenix and MB: Bloody Mary. Might be that strawberry note in the MB:BM. Wet: Strawberry is mostly what I can smell, which is good. I like strawberry! I think the candy corn makes it a little different in the background. It's nice.

In the bottle: Whoa, fizzy! I didn't think fizzy could be a scent, but here it is! Wet: Reminds me of some sweets that I can't for the life of me remember what they are, but it's pretty much exactly like them! It's nice, very summery! Dry: The lemon and lime are the most prominent. Not quite my thing, but it is nice.

2008 Version In the bottle: Mmm, crisp cold snow, with a hint of coconut! Wet: It's such an unusual scent, but I love it. It's kind of hardly there. Slightly foody? Dry: My colleague said it reminded him of Christmas cake. I guess it does! Lovely. Coconut and vanilla. Now kind of like watching snow falling outside your window whilst you're all warm inside the house.

I've never really thought much to Snake Oil, despite the rave reviews about it. It's always been a little too incensey for me. In the imp: Incense. Strong. Wet: Still incense. I hardly get any vanilla, which sucks because I LOVE vanilla. I wouldn't say it's a bad incense, but it's quite heady. I much prefer Snake Charmer.

Resurrected 08 Version In the bottle: Patchouli and plum. Amber too! Wet: Pure, sexy love. Still patchouli, but... dear god, I can't even describe it. Something is amazing. This is kind of a pointless review because all I'm doing is sniffing myself. I LOVE THIS.

In the imp: Ouch, ginger. I can't smell anything else. Wet: Still mostly ginger with a bit of jasmine. I'm not really feeling it at the moment. Dry: Still ginger. Nah, not liking this one. I had high hopes for it as well!

In the imp: Very sweet, a dark orchid scent. Wet: I can smell violets too. They go very nicely together. I agree that it's a very sweet candy scent.
-
In the imp: Sugary and floral - I think jasmine? I'm not sure what gardenia smells like. Wet: Very jasmine with a hint of spice. Reminds me a little of Red Devil. There's something creamy in there too. Dry: The jasmine is dying down a bit now and it's very sweet. Probably not an every day scent, but it's nice.

In the bottle: Musk, patchouli and plum. Not overpowering! Wet: Erk, the patchouli is trying to take over! And there's something spicy which I'm guessing is the cassia - ooh-er, I just sneezed! Dry: The plum is coming out a bit more now. I might keep this and try it again as red is my favourite colour and I really want it to work! It's so spicy though!
-
In the imp: Sandalwood and something sharp! I'm not quite sure what it is though! Wet: Spicy and red! Still can't place that floral, but it's really nice, and not rose. I do get a hint of rose, but thankfully it's not as strong as usual on me. Dry: Sexy! I like this.
-
In the imp: Almonds and honey. Uh oh, honey hates me! Wet: Sadly yes, the honey is too nasty on me. It seems quite spicy underneath but I can't get past the honey.
-
In the imp: Violets. Reminds me a lot of Purple Phoenix. It has two of the same notes. Wet: Yes, this is still PP, but without the grapes. It's very violet! Dry: I think I'll stick to PP, but it is quite nice. Floral and sweet.
-
In the imp: Oh dear, I smell ketchup. :S Wet: It's not so bad wet. Quite sweet and floral, with a hint of booze. Mostly orange. Dry: Kind of reminds me of toilet cleaner. Ew.
-
Purple Phoenix is one of my all-time favourites! In the bottle: Violets and wisteria! Wet: Turns to grapes and violets. Smells very candy-like, a bit like those Parma-Violet sweets. Dry: Floraly and lovely... that's all I can say. I adore this.
-
In the imp: Exactly what it says - pomegranate and rose! The pomegranate is the most prominent though. Wet: Turns completely rose on me, with no sign of the pomegranate whatsoever! Darn rose. Dry: Yup. Just rose. Boo.
-
In the imp: Very foody! That's odd. Wet: Ginger and... dirt. With a hint of floral. I'm confused by this scent! Dry: I'm not really sure what to think of this. It does smell perfumey, but also foody. Brain is confused!
-
In the imp: Jasmine! And a hint of sandalwood. Wet: This is very jasmine, but I can smell a bit of the lily in the background. So far a nice floral scent. Dry: The musk is coming out now! It's quite a heady scent. Not something I'd wear for work, but maybe outside!
-
In the imp: Woody and herby. Wet: Getting an aquatic note now, but it's a bit too woody and green for me. I'm not really a woody/herby fan, but I think it would be good if you do like wood scents.
-
In the imp: Honey. I have bad luck with honey. Wet: Yeah, the honey is pretty sour on me. I keep testing O to see if it will change, but alas... I think it hates me. Dry: I get a hint of vanilla, but mostly honey. Sorry O!
-
In the imp: I actually recoiled, but not in horror, there was just something very sharp! I can smell wine, blood and dirt. I think the wine is the sharp part. Wet: Sour wine with a hint of dirt. It's actually not so bad! I'm getting roses too, but that might just be me. Kind of like, dry roses. It really reminds me of a church. I'm surprised at this one, I quite like it. Fruity, floraly and dirty.
-
In the imp: Oily lemon. A strange combination, but not a bad one! Wet: Lemon, and something else resiny. It might be the beeswax. Hmm, I'm not sure what to think, the lemon is quite overpowering at the moment! It smells a bit like my doctor's surgery. Dry: Yup, still reminds me of my doctor. Which sucks, because I really wanted to like this scent as much as everyone else does! I think it's the beeswax, it doesn't like me.
-
In the imp: Vanilla cake! I get the sandalwood too. Wet: Vanilla! Oh my. When I first tried this it didn't smell so good, but now... yum! I think I've come to like sandalwood too. Dry: Still vanilla, which is great for me. It smells foody, but not TOO much. Really like it. Damn.
-
In the bottle: WHOA CHERRIES. Wet: Still cherries, but it's delicious. Juicy! It reminds me of Christmas because that's when I first got this bottle. The throw is strong! I've only put a tiny bit on! Dry: Mmm, it's going creamy now. And I get a hint of candyish strawberry. Really lovely.
-
In the bottle: Musk and plum! Quite nice. Wet: Mm, this is turning delicious on me, and I'm so glad! There's a hint of something sharp and woody which I think is the patchouli, but it's not too strong. Dry: It smells a bit like Snake Oil, I get a hint of vanilla. Nice!
