I love this. Going by the notes I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it, but I'm glad I got a decant on a whim. This smells like wearing a new leather, possibly suede, jacket in the woods in very early spring. It smells like the promise of growing things to come without there being anything green in the scent. There is warm pine needles and the very particular smell of the air in early spring - where the cold dry scent of winter mixes with the warm moister air of spring. eta: I'm allergic to this. I put it on to wear for the day and I couldn't stop sneezing all day. It actually really made me feel awful.

I didn't like Pumpkin Masala Rooibos the first time I put it on. It was too sweet and strong and overwhelming. I kept it around though for a second test because I really wanted it to work. The second time it moved to the okay pile because the longer I wore it the more I liked what I smelled. The third time was the charm though. On a whim I decided to wear it for a whole day, and that is when it began to shine. Applied to more of my body I really got the full glory of it's beautiful dry down. It's what I wanted it to be - a beautiful, spicy cup of tea.

The pear note is similar in feeling to the apple note in Glittering Apple. Bright and beautiful. I don't really smell vanilla or honey separately but there is a lovely sweet creamy background. As a note of caution when this first goes on it there is a faint doll's head plastic scent similar to the way Snow White goes on me. Gladly this dissipates in a few minutes. 4.5/5

Crappy phone picture, but in case anyone was curious. -edit- It was big and I don't know how to fix it, so I deleted it.

I got my CnS before CCNow said it had even shipped to the lab for my Blackbear Moon, so I wouldn't worry about it.

This is amazing. I don't think I own anything quite like it. Don't make your decision on this one based on your initial thoughts! It took about 20 minutes for this to settle onto my skin. Wet and drying it was almost all hazelnut nut with a spiciness that reminded me of cinnamon or cassia without actually being either. It was nice, but almost overwhelming. It reminded me a little of cookies. Dry is a whole different story. Sweet dry fur and grasses (maybe that's the dry pine needles, it doesn't really smell piney though). It's like cuddling my cat after she has been sleeping in the sun. The nuts have faded away, leaving behind something that doesn't really smell like any one of the notes in particular. One of the most evocative scents I have tried. This is comforting and sexy and I love it. -Edit- After having this for a few days it has settled considerably. The in your face, hazelnut/cookies initial smell isn't really present anymore. It just goes directly to the wonderful dry down scent as soon as it is dry. I still get little to no fruit in this, just a warm sweetness that I am assuming the berries leave.

I keep reading the notes in this over and over again because all I smell in this is oranges and... sandalwood? This is a really strange blend. -edit: I put a little bit more of this on so I could decide if it was wearable or not and the smell made me immediately nauseous. More than a tiny dot of this and all I smell is rotten oranges.

Pine and Juicy Fruit gum with the pine fading away almost entirely within about 15 minutes. This is very sweet on me, I wasn't expecting that.

Love, love, love. I am in love with this. The dry down is actually fairly similar to Piper at the Gates of Dawn on me(which I also love, so that okay). I guess it's the honey, orange, linden, amber combo. Radiant.

Wet this screams sugary lemon and grapefruit. It was almost too much, but I was glad I stuck it out because it dries down very pretty. Replace the rose with citrus in Pink Snowballs and you have this. I didn't really get any mint. edit: I ended up selling this because while it was very pretty in small amounts, it quickly grew cloying when I actually wore it for a day.

First thought: OMG, I'm wearing a scent with lilac in it without having an asthma attack!!!!!!!!!!!!! That being said this is a very pretty, soft scent. I'm getting mostly plum, myrrh and frankincense. I'm very pleased with this.

This is sooo pretty. I usually can't do pretty girly scents because the flowers take off and kill everything. But this is perfect the rose is mild and sweet and in the background. And the rather tropical feeling I got from Snow White is tempered by the rose so this actually smells like winter to me! Very, very nice.

CANDY! Really this is all candy on me. It goes on with a cookie kind of smell, but that burned off rather quickly. Now my wrist smells rather like a box of Sweet Tarts and a glass of Kool Aid.

This smells like a (rather sexy) men's cologne on me. A cold woodsy, piney, musky kind of scent. Sadly I'm actually getting rather little mint of any kind. It's more of just a cold feeling. I'm going to try this on my husband. I'm guessing that he's going to be able to wear it far better than me. edit: I tried this on Mr. Evenstar, and it's amazing. So much so that I'm entirely over it not working for me.

2011 version: When I put this on wet it smelled just like Playdough. Magic happened when I rubbed it in though and the Playdough scent went away immediately. Now it's definitely a warm vanilla/almond scent with just a hint of coconut. It reminds of Eden, which I happened to have put on this morning so it was fresh in my mind.

This is the first scent that my husband made me wash off. He took one wiff, made a terrible face, and said that it smelled just like a urinal.

When this first went on it smelled of sunscreen and toasted nuts. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something that I would want to wear. As it dried it all settled down to a very pretty, warm, creamy blend. I'm not really detecting many individual notes anymore. It's just pretty and feminine. The throw is very light.

I'm trying to find somethings to try on my husband, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Normally he wears Axe Kilo (http://www.basenotes.net/ID26122229.html - The best I could come to finding notes.) or Axe Dark Temptation(http://www.basenotes.net/ID26129838.html) and I rather like both for what they are. I want to find him something less chemical though. I've tried Fenris Wolf on him and it's sexy and alluring, but not quite right - he smells a bit too much like walking into a new age creations. Any ideas on what I should start with?

I was heartbroken to discover that my second bottle of Lady Una smells nothing like my first. The second bottle is so strongly musk that it actually makes my eyes water when I sniff it, and I love musk. I never smelled anything like it.
-
Wet it's all leaves and cold air. It warms up as it dries down to a beautiful musk with the sweet dry leaf smell you get on warm autumn afternoons.

This year's October and Glittering Apple of the Stars.

This smells like cherry Robitussin when I first put in on. It then quickly morphs to highly floral cheap hotel soap. It's one of the very few 'get it off me right now' scents that I have found. My eyes are watering right now it's so pungent.

If this were a real cookie, I would eat the whole bag. It smells that good.

I have two bottles of this and I really have a hard time believing that they are the same perfume. The older bottle is a sweet fruity scent while the newer bottle is all sharp musk and honey. The fruit only comes out long after dry down on the newer bottle. I honestly don't know how I feel about this. I LOVE my older bottle, so when I opened my newer one I was rather disappointed. The new one is so strong it actually burned to put it on my skin and while it is a pretty scent I much prefer my first bottle.
