Almond extract comes to mind. I really could not make out any other notes. I kind of want to leave it in the kitchen for my next batch of cookies.

I absolutely adore this. In the bottle it smells like sweet buttered popcorn. On my skin, it is a nice and creamy scent. Reminds me of Snow White but it is different. I am really not into foody scents but this somehow is gorgeous on my skin. I cant wait to get my big bottle of this.

This one smells like fresh clean laundy. I dont think I want to smell that way personally but I can imagine using this for a linen spray or something. Well I am glad to find out what ozone smells like.

I am loving this scent. It is like a lighter version of Depraved for me because of the apricot. I would have never thought that I would love apricot so much. There is something lingering underneath it and I assume it is the musk. I wished I slathered this on this morning. I find myself constantly with my nose to my wrist. Okay so now I want more apricot. Beth? are you listening?

I have been so scared to try scents with Dragon's Blood in it. I guess the name put me off. But I had some great people tell me otherwise. So finally I get an imp of this and I am so glad I did. Yummy and creamy. I was expecting something harsh. But i was pleasantly surprised with this scent. I may have to buy a big bottle one of these days. ADDED June 2: I have been afraid to try Dragon's Blood. The name doesnt sound pretty. But I had to see what all the fuss was about. Tried this today and really enjoyed the experience. I mostly smell the sweet vanilla which I loved. There was a twist which I assume is the blood. There was nothing to be scared about. This didnt bite me at all. It is sexy and yummy at the same time. I think with more time....this will grow on me even more. I love the lingering scent it leaves behind after hour 14. This scent lasts forever.

I looooove this. I am such a fan of coconut. I wish there were more blends with it. This makes me wanna get my favorite drink of Coconut rum with pineapple juice.

I really love patchouli and ginger. I was hoping that the patchouli would stand out more for me. It is lovely but not for me. This one goes straight to my head like I smoked too much ganja the evening before and I wake up with a slight headache. Off to the swap pile. ADDED June 14: This one is very strong. I am not too much a fan of orange blossom as I have discovered recently. This one bum rushed my head and made me lightheaded. This is almost a single note. I dont sense any ginger or patchouli. Off to the swap pile.

I really wanted this to work for me because I wanted a replacement for one of my favorite perfumes, Angel. But to no avail, this didnt quite do it for me. In the bottle it smelled great for me. So I slather it on this morning and I wish I was just a little more gentle with it. It has a suffocating scent. It brings back memories of my childhood for me sitting in his hot car during the summer. He used to use this car deoderizer that smells very similar to this. I wish the sandalwood would come out more. I am not getting any of that. Only vanilla with a hint of chocolate and something else I can put my finger on, possibly the myrrh. I love every note in this but I guess the balance is not working for me. Definitely has great staying power.

I really wanted to love this scent. It smells of juicy grapes on me, kind of reminiscent of a childhood candy, but I cant place it yet. I wish the sandalwood would have stepped up some more. Oh well...there are so many more to smell.

I love this so much. It reminds me of the Carribbean. It reminds of the flowers I smelled at night growing up in S. Florida and Santo Domingo, because Pele behaves so much like them. You can only smell them when a warm breeze passes thru. And then you say, "Mmmm, what is that?". This is definitely on my top 5. I just received my 10ml bottle of this and I so glad I did, since you have to reapply often. I also want to use this to make a solid lotion bar, in the hopes that I can make this scent last longer.

This is one of my favorites, definitely in my top 5. The review is well overdue. I have already purchased a 10 ml and received it last night. I am well slathered this morning. I definitely feel empowered or maybe a better word is bitchy, like mentioned early. When I opened the bottle all I can say is, "this stinks so good". This is so well blended and balanced. I really cant separate the apricots and the patchouli. I love the earthy rawness of this scent. I love this scent from the imp to drydown and fours hours later the scent is going strong, I love catching whiffs of it as I work. I want to try this as a room scent and a solid lotion.

When I first encountered bpal, I didnt realize they had an oil called Black Pearl. When I saw it I didnt really rush to try it either. So about three weeks ago, someone said I should really try it and so I got my hands on it. And I so happened to get three imps of it at the same time from different people. Oh my.....I am in love with my namesake. I thought how am I going to live with out this one. I dont want to wait two months. So I found a bottle on ebay. And when I got it all I wanted to do is sniff the bottle. Better yet, apply some near my nose. I feel like I am laying on Boca Chica Beach in Santo Domingo. Sun is hot and the suntan oil is shiny and sizzling. A local passes by with Coconut water to drink, spiked with coconut rum. So glad to be home. I will have to get a 10ml of this on my next order. I can tell the 5ml wont last long. Only thing about this oil is that I wished it last longer. But that is okay...I love the light scent it leaves on my skin, hours after the strength of it disappears. I guess I will have to keep an imp in desk at work and handbag for retouches. So now we need more scents with coconut. I am so diggin that note.
