In Vial: green floral Wet: This smellls aquatic to me without the saltiness. It really is lovely. Dry: It has faded quite alot but is still very pretty. It may smell a tiny bit aquatic now but mostly green floral. It is very nice, but will need to try again to decide if I need a bottle.

In Vial: Rootbeer and something else Wet: Yeah rootbeer but something bitter. Reminds of a scent I knew as a child. There is something not pleasant to me in this, maybe it is the oak leaf? As it is drying I am starting to smell the vanilla, it is getting better. Dry: Certainly I smell the butter and vanilla now blended with the rootbeer and it is really yummy BUT I also smell the bitter, off note and that just ruins it for me. -
In Vial: Sweet and floral Wet: This is floral but something a little darker, richer and mellow. Getting stronger now. More perfumey, probably the jasmine. Jasmine always smells perfumey to me. Dry: This is perfumey but mellow. Strong. Not for me.

In Vial: Clean and pretty Wet: This is very refreshing. Dry: This gets really strong. I'm not sure which note it is, but it is over powering..

This smells like cigarettes and perfume, but more perfumey. Not what I was expecting. I know this sounds weird but I smell a hint of body odor. Later...the cigarette scent has disappeared, so now its just perfumey.

"The Pretty Era", France’s Golden Time: an age of beauty, innovation and peace in France that lasted from the 19th Century through the first World War and gave birth to the cabaret, the cancan, and the cinema as well as the Impressionist and Art Nouveau movements. Sweet opium, Lily of the Valley, vanilla, mandarin and red sandalwood. Soft. Smells old. Like an old piece of linen from my Grandmother that has the faintest hint of perfume. Powdery on me.

in vial: cool and sweet Wet: bpals famous 'snow' note, with light florals surrounding. Since I don't like the 'snow note', this will probably not work for me. Dry: This is now a lighter version of the same snow note that I spoke of previously. If you know what I am talking about and you like that note, give this a try. I did not get any aquatics in this which I was looking forward to. .

in Vial: sweet apples wet: still sweet apples. Smells more like apples blossom than the fresh fruit. Dry: Creamy and light.
-
in vial: Very cherry Wet: Yep, still cherry but now a little rootbeerish. Dry: I'm smelling the Anise. Cherry and licorice.

Interesting, not sure what to think. Smells almost like a dark carbonated bererage without the bubbles, but mixed with toilet cleaner. Now It has faded into something light and gently perfumey.

In Vial: Whew! Strong perfume Wet: Powdery, probably the rose, it always does this to me. Still strong perfume. Dry: Very powdery and still strange, with rose in the background. ADDED Aug. 17: In Vial: Whew! Strong perfume Wet: Powdery and still strong perfume Dry: Still powdery and strong with rose.

In Vial: Fresh and herbal clean Wet: I can smell the green tea and the lemon verbena clearly. The honeysuckle, I'm not so sure. Dry: This smells remarkably like F5. In the end the verbena is dominant.

IN Vial: Strong butter and nuts Wet: Whoa! this is buttery. This is 'in your face' burned wood with carmel in the background. I don't really smell choc. cov cherries. Drydown: Now I smell spices, cinnamon or clove, maybe both. This has a nice baked goods scent with lots of cinnamon. This is yummy, but not much like the notes listed.

I did not know this scent existed until just recently. It was not on my list of scents to try. I have discovered through the months that the scents I thought I would like and the scents I actually love have different notes and are in completely different scent categories. I have been looking for a scent that smells like this, not really knowing if such existed. So I will tell you what this truly smells like and those of you that are like me will soon add this to your list of new favorite scents. This smells like Dryer Sheets, clean freshly laundered linens, but better. Better because this does not have the chemical smell that most dryer sheets do. This smells like Yankee Candle's linen spray Clean Cotton. I really liked the spray but at the same time could not stand it because of the chemical smell in the background. Windward Passage is pure fragrance without chemical smells. I Love using this as a linen spray. I also wore it to work one day and 12 hours later I could still smell it on my clothes going strong. I know not everyone will be excited about this review as I am, but those of us, like me, who get excited when you see a review that reads "smells like soap", "smells like detergent", "smells clean", will run to try this scent, just like I did. It's better than imagined. The bladderwrack almost scared me away, so glad I didn't let it!

In Vial: Perfumey with a hint of mint. Wet: This is very perfumey, more so than I expected given the notes. Dry: I have realized it is the honey in this that is bothering me as it usual does in all blends. I love the mint, ambergis and seaweed. They blend perfectly together, but the honey in this kills it for me.

In Vial: This oil is the color of blood. Wet: I smell the red musk strongly but then something nutty and earthy. Almost like mushrooms. I think it is the patchouli, which I hate. Dry: The patchouli fades some and the musk is dominant. When I smell this I really can see the tragedy and destruction of war.

In Vial: Wonderful, smooth, mellow and clean. Wet: This is a little masculine. I cannot believe it has vetiver in it, I hate vetiver, but this smells so good. Not very sweet, which is fine with me. Dry: The light scent of a sexy man. This is really good!

"]In Vial: Smells like soap and a hint of herbal flowers Wet: This isn't what I expected. Reminds me of hand soap. This is a bit more perfumey than I was expecting. There is a bit of floral coming out now. Dry: I see a little girl when I smell this, with freshly washed hair. This blend smells like a childs shampoo[/size].

In Vial: Clean Wet: Super clean with a hint of light sweet. I love the clean smell this has. This is what i wanted dirty to smell like. Dry: This smells like toilet paper right out of the package but minus the trees. I never did smell the pine.

In Vial: Woodsy Wet; Sweet and incensey vanilla. Drydown:Softened but still wood and incense.
-
In Vial: green florals Wet: This is kind of creamy. Has a coconut waxy smell in the background. Dry: This becomes even more waxy with a light, sweet scent in the background.

In Vial: Butterscotch Wet: Apple Dry: An equal balance of apples and carmel. Very foody!
